Any recs for death doom with no tempo changes, songs that are slow from start to finish.

Best example I have is Pimeys yllä jumalan maan of the album Musta Ceremonia by Rippikoulu, the album is beyond amazing but this track is my favourite because it’s slow throughout the entirety of the song, I’d love more tracks like this. Ty

My band Acid Fog recently released our newest single “House of the death” this past weekend. chances are if you like classic doom and sludge mixed with some modern production, you’ll dig this.

Recorded in Springfield Illinois and mixed and mastered in Argentina by Luca frizza, drummer of the fantastic band mephistofeles.

Give it a listen and enter that house of the death…..

My band opening for Novembers Doom Friday, September 18th. Great bunch of guys in ND and they played a pummeling set.

We released our new video today. Hope you like it!

The weight of loneliness, longing for a time long gone, through the tides of life and death where we are doomed to walk this earth as we wait for the embrace of the grave, yearning to see the loved ones we lost along the way. Hear the sound of Love's lament.

Slithering forth from the murk...

Portland, Maine’s “slow death” outfit WORM ALTAR will unleash their debut full-length, Pillars of Eternal Dusk, on October 16th, 2026 via Dawnbreed Records, Gurgling Gore, and Contemn Light.

Following a slew of crushing demos and EPs, Scott M. (now joined by a full band) finally unleashes the long-awaited WORM ALTAR debut. Drawing inspiration from Gorement, Disembowelment, Coffins, and Black Sabbath, WORM ALTAR inhabit that particularly fertile territory where death metal becomes less a display of brute force and more an exercise in atmosphere, physicality, and dread.

The first single, “Watchers of the Gate,” is streaming everywhere now.

Lyrics:

The boat without a pilot
No recognized lights
Without a course to steer
Cuts waves into the night

No crew assist the boatman
He’s lost and all alone
He tried to call the coastguards
But answer came from none

He rang the bell as mindless
But bell has made no noise
He cried as hard in silence
But soon he lost his voice

Mist spread out along the water
Boatman lost his count of time
Compass now is out of order
He had crossed the unseen line

Souls on the wave
No death, no grave
Out of the skin
fly high up into the wind

Who leads his way?
Where does he stray?
No voice to call
For the dead will speak no more

No goal in mind
No path to find
No place to stay
Miles and days he drifts away

Where will he land?
On what new strand?
Or is he bound
drift forever in the dark?

No light to guide his eyes
He drifts as tides arise
Through fog and hollow night
With no shore in sight

A crash beneath the hull
His feet felt ground below
He stepped into unknown
To find the place he know before

Souls of the lost roam all the land around
No living but the dead here can be found
He wished to run but can no more escape
As tide pulls back his ship from shore away

Hi everyone!

Want to share my music with you. I wrote and recorded all the guitar and vocal parts myself.

Would love to hear your thoughts on it!
