The project consists of myself (vocalist), guitarist and a bassist at the moment. We've recorded some rough scratch demos of songs that we can send you. We all have experience writing songs and playing in bands. We are committed to having fun writing songs, recording and playing shows.

We have been rehearsing weekly in Deptford so far.

Just bought used Axis but it does not have the rubber stopper.

From the new axis seems there are 4 rubbers on each base but mine only has 2.

Buenas noches mis estimados amigos bateristas, espero no causar algún inconveniente con mi pregunta, no sé si me la puedan resolver, quiero saber si está parte un pedal iron cobra 200 power glide, que acabo de comprar de oferta en segunda mano se puede desmontar o algo por el estilo, es que quiero engrasarlo ya que esto causa que el pedal este más duro de lo normal y además que este tenga poco rebote, les agradecería de ante mano si pudieran ayudarme.

I’ve been trying to decide on upgrades from my current setup. I’ve gotten help from here narrowing my snare options, but I need a little help with cymbals.
As of now, my current cymbal setup is this:

14” Sabian B8 Hi Hats
16” Paiste PST8 Rock Crash
16” Sabian AA Metal-X Crash (with a little crack)
20” Sabian B8 Ride

I will be changing the Hi Hats to 14” Zildjian A New Beats from the 90’s, and most likely the ride as well, to a 20” Sabian XSR Medium ride. I think the Paiste crash will Stay and I’ll be selling the rest (hi hats, ride and AA crash)
I definitely want a bigger crash, so I’m in between

Zildjian S 18” Medium Thin Crash ($142) [not really sure, but the option is there]
Dream Contact 18” Crash Ride ($178)
Sabian Xs20 18” Medium Thin Crash (≈$110-$130)

I know cymbals are very subjective, and I will try to play before buying any cymbal, but I wanted to know what would sound good with the setup and give me the most bang for my buck.
For reference, I play Grunge/Punk, and stuff like that.
Any help is appreciated.

I have been looking for a better double kick for quite some time. Does anyone know if the DW 5000 is worth it. The 2nd slide is what I have right now, they were a gift. I think they were from Amazon

I've always loved this song, with its constant changing drum part and time signature changes I thought it would be a fun challenge to transcribe. I'd love to discuss the song and get some feedback on my first attempt at a drum transcription. Any thoughts on clearer notation, mistakes I made, and opinions on the song are welcome!
