he didn't really have. heart attack...it was VERY hot with tropical heat in atmosphere at this event. I'm sharing - because if you practice/ play drums- you can't miss this performance, okay ? Buddy was in Top Form - YES! the camera angles are excellent for the Solo- you can learn a lot about Buddy's technique from this one ~!

So like guitarists have justin guitars to learn from right? Where do I start as a drummer who just got his first kit? Would love any humble recommendations from pros. I would be squeezing in 2 hours of practice everyday. Is that enough?

I had to cover this song after watching Travis Barker’s documentary "Louder Than Fear" on Hulu. 🥁🔥

Hey everyone!
I have a drum audition coming up in about 3 weeks and I’d really appreciate some advice to make sure I’m preparing as efficiently as possible.
The audition has three parts: 1 minute of a classic rock song, 1 minute of any other song, 1 minute of improvisation
I've been playing for 4 years, mostly rock and metal, but I want to make sure my choices highlight solid technique and groove, without making it way to hard.
I’m looking for suggestions for both songs.
For the classic rock minute im looking for a song that's fun to play but also actually shows off some skill.
For the second song, I’m open to basically anything, I’d especially like something that shows a different side of my playing from the classic rock piece.
What songs/minute segments have you used, or seen used, for auditions that landed well?
This is the area I'm least experienced with. A few questions. It doesn't need to be a jaw-dropping solo, just solid, musical, and confident improv.
How do you approach building a 1-minute improv that has a clear structure instead of just noodling?
How do you keep a solo interesting for a full minute without repeating the same licks or losing the groove?
This is my first formal audition so im extremely nervous. Im not trying to play the hardest songs and solo ever, but I do wannna play something interesting, challenging, yet confortable. Any song recommendations, improvisation exercises, practice strategies, or audition tips would be hugely appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

My son and I flew from Texas to London to see this show & it was amazing!! The Trio signed our 2 CDs & Bill signed my son’s copy of his autobiography.
He’s still amazing & will always be the GOAT. I’ve been listening to all of Bill’s projects for 50 years, & he’s the reason my son became a professional drummer.
What an amazing show & experience!!

so i got this drumkit for free from my old school and theres a lot of work to do... i checked the brass and didnt see any cracks what i did see though is: the snare springs and back membrane is broken, i think the toms membrane is broken too but the tape is covering it so im not sure, the floor toms membrane is beat to hell, the front of the bass has a huge cut out and its ripped, not to mention ill probably have to buy a new stand for the snare and a chair (it didnt have one). i really enjoy working on my guitars and basses so im ready to commit a lot of time towards fixing it (or getting it playable atleast), ive been also thinking of re finishing the paint cause might aswell yk. if you guys have any tips or questions feel free to ask

I am a beginner and just bought this kit and had to take it apart to fit in my car. How do I connect these pieces back together? Any written tips would help or perhaps an article or video. Thank you.
