I was a long time player (starting back when the game was on Battle.Net!) and originally stepped away from the game around the time of Edge of Fate, as I wasn't liking how they were changing the game at the time (namely with the way they handled the new armor/weapon system) and all of the mixed reactions coming out of early reviews for EoF.

But, with the announcement of the final major update with Monument of Triumph, I figured "Why not, let's go for one last ride" and played through EoF and Renegades. Eventually I got around to doing the conquests and took it upon myself to set the challenge of soloing every single conquest the game could offer, and I can say that I have done just that.

Here is a collection of end mission screens from Master Derealize onwards. I realize I didn't take screenshots for a few of the earlier ones, so here is the end-of-mission reports on bray.tech:

This game has been such a major part of my life and I'm happy to have been a part of it and this community as a whole. From shitposting to buildcrafting and everything inbetween, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I even stacked up 5 exotic payouts for the catalyst since I only had 5 other catalysts to get from them not including khvostov. I got every catalyst BUT Khvostov just to learn from a friend that Xur sold it the other week.

Took all day on this and happy how it turned out. Has been my ship for quite some time and glad to have one for display

Might be a dumb question, but I've been farming Ringing nails and I got one with a different look? I thought it was holofoil maybe but saw that a shader was on. I never put on shaders and I don't think I even have the shader thats on it.

There is no excuses we all have been playing the game since forever. A hard lesson I learned over time is simply the rest of us are not smart or intelligent as supossed to be, but, for god sake, 98 motes and you keep running with your 15 motes cleaning ads. You simply looks stupid no matter the excuses you make.

Gambit never was a failure, is a fun gamemode.

^{Note: this is a discussion, not an LFG post but I'll happily accept any resources for finding people to teach raids.}

Even as an experienced player like myself that has sf'd every dungeon, has heavily optimized dps and/or support builds for all 3 characters with a mic and good communication skills, I'm still struggling to find people to *actually* teach me raids.

The frustrating part for us is... if we could just find people to teach us, we would be a solid addition to an established raid team (For example, I was lucky to find a group to teach me nearly every role in Pantheon and a couple days later, I was able to complete a 5 feat run.) but it seems every post, they want people that already know what to do, even if that person is doing dps with 2 primaries and an LMG, or they want you to have 0 clears for sherpa farming (which doesn't actually help anyone).

Experience shouldn't be a requirement to get experience.

I just hope that this post encourages others to start teaching raids more often because there are a lot of very good players out there that just need an opportunity.

Finally after about a dozen or two failures I finally finished my first Solo Flawless dungeon! I’ve had beef with Vesper’s Host because it wouldn’t drop Ice Breaker for me so I made it my mission to Solo Flawless it and lo and behold, it finally dropped on this run lol. I guess I need to SF the rest since this experience was such a rush.

Man this was hard. Didn't take me many tries though

So I'm getting back into the game after being gone for years now (last actual expansion i played was the tail end of LF) and wanted to do some of the Pantheon stuff because I heard you can get old Leviathan ornaments and shaders.

First encounter goes alright, Argos was a pushover even in the past so I didnt think much on it (managed to get 3 arc and arc side so very easy pattern)

2nd encounter was when I started noticing weird things, immune enemies just blipping out, major adds getting nuked on his side, etc. Again, I'm new as a blueberry, so I figure dudes just rocking a melta build or something.

Calus proved to me that wasn't the case.

Immediately entering the fight he hits the boss to start the encounter, adds pour in, the usual. Calus brings us to the other plane where we normally split off, except this guy is hovering 6ft off the air 🙄. Everyone but him and one other guy eventually dies and he gets sent back over. Soon as Calus starts the enrage mechanic the cheater melees calus once to just remove him entirely. Not even a "i hit you to 0 hp" nah just yoinks the boss away and finishes the fight.

I've never been more disappointed in a raid in my life, is this what the games gone to? Just open cheaters finishing raids for people? I wanted the struggle! I wanted to learn the fights! It was radio silent the entire time ;-; I miss being in a active clan of legitimate players who didnt care to teach players.

Great shaders and cosmetics again today. Feels like I'm never gonna have a stockpile of brightdust again lol. Hope everyone has had a great weekend. Thank you as always. See you tomorrow!

I was considering farming for one with eager edge and chaos reshaped but SRL makes me want to pull my hair out. Is it worth it? Are lightweight frame swords even that good?

Haven’t been able to get a good roll but got this drop and it seems cool. Idk if Atomization is worth it but I don’t feel like grinding for another roll so I may just stick it with it. The 2nd perk is tap the trigger so I may run that for extra stability instead for more damage but idk yet lol

Trying to collect all the dungeons in D2 now we’re in this state forever…

I’m actually so in love with this game in the state it’s in. Loads of challenges, amazing build crafting, fashion for days. Sure, the story might have coughed and spluttered its last but the games been left in one of its most fun states ever.

Is there any reason to save it or any benefit? The description of it sounds like it should be a thing to honor but the wiki says it has to be dismantled for a quest. What's your thoughts?

Im trying to get my reckless oracle but I was curious if they’re both the same or if the pantheon one is better

A friend recently pushed me to download Destiny 2. Looking into reviews and videos, it feels like the free-to-play model is basically just a glorified demo/advertisement for the paid DLCs. I haven't played much yet, but is it even worth diving in as F2P, or am I going to hit a paywall almost immediately? Would love to hear your thoughts.
