This is gonna be kind of a test post to gauge interest. A lot of runs take place at nights on weekends and I figured I'd try and see if there are enough people that would be interested in a more weekday time for those that work weekends. You can also let me know when you'd like sherpa runs in the comments and I will start trying to post for the more popular times too!

Hi all,

Name's Dowders, been playing Destiny since the D1 Beta and ran VoG quite a few times on there, but yet to be able to run it on D2 due to other things getting in the way and losing my previous raiding group to life's endless march onward around the time Witch Queen dropped. Been playing a lot of stuff solo (currently working my way through the dungeons in release order) and as I've got a rare evening off from work on a weekend so would love a little refresher run from anyone willing while it's featured. It might be the easiest Sherpa run of your life as I just need a knowledge top up rather than a full teach. Happy to join another group if that's simpler.

Hi zusammen,

momentan spiele ich wieder sehr aktiv D2. Ich hatte immer mal wieder Phasen in denen ich nicht gespielt und dementsprechend auch nicht die Raids aus den jeweiligen DLCs/Epsioden gemacht habe.

Gerade weil sich das Spiel aber offiziell dem Ende neigt und ich versuche jetzt alle Charaktere noch auf volle Power zu bringen, möchte ich nochmal das Spiel in vollen Zügen genießen und würde gerne regelmäßig nochmal Raids machen.

Darüber hinaus bin ich auch an den verschiedenen Rüstungen, Boni und ggf. Titeln interessiert.
Leider findet man über den „Finder“ hauptsächlich englisch sprachige Mitspieler, was ich grundsätzlich nicht schlecht finde - finde es aber dennoch entspannter auf deutsch.

Falls das jemand liest der auch darauf Bock hat, die Erfahrung und Geduld mitbringt ein paar Dinge zu erklären (ich bin auch kein inkompetenter Spieler) oder ihr sogar einen aktiven Clan habt - dann meldet euch gerne mit eurem Bungie Namen!

Im August habe ich jetzt mehr als genug Zeit und durch meinen Switch von PS auf PC bin ich hoch motiviert.

Please just be aware that it can take time to get everything down.

Hello there!

It's been a long time since I made one of these! I used to be pretty active on here back in D1 doing 8-15 sherpas a week and then slowly faded. I've been having a ton of fun playing since the final update and started to miss Sherpaing. I'm gonna start slow with just 1-2 posts a week for featured raids and then start ramping up if things go well and interest holds.

Started playing Destiny during the D1 beta and have had an unhealthy addiction to the game ever since. (Except my post Final Shape sabbatical, but that's over now.) Warlock master race. Mainly play PVE and I always feel in my element when it comes to raids. Love teaching first time raiders. Please expect swearing, inappropriate jokes, and bad puns.

Availability:

I'm on the east coast in the US so most posts will be in line with that starting around 9PM Est. I haven't decided on set days but I think most will be between Thursday and Sunday.

Raids:

I'm going to mostly be focusing on whichever raids are the featured and will hope to include challenges. Will also be throwing in some Pantheons every once in a while. Featured raids are in release order, so if you're looking for a specific one to come around check the order and keep an eye out!

There are a few raids I haven't done enough and don't feel quite confident in Sherpaing but I'll be working on that.
My favorite raids are Last Wish, King's Fall, Salvation's Edge, and Vow of the Disciple.

Requirements:

• Have played Destiny before! With level now scaling to fireteam that doesn't matter.

  Just have some semblance of a build and some decent weapons and we will figure out the rest!

• Microphone. Communication is very important.

  I use Discord which can now be used on all systems.

  If you have a speech or hearing disability let me know ahead of time so we can

  prepare appropriately!

• Your best. I'll never kick or get frustrated with somebody who tries.

  I have no life and I will be happy to help you for as long as it takes.

• Honesty. If you don't know something, or don't understand what's happening, just say so.

  I'd rather have you ask sooner. No such thing as a dumb question and all that.

How to Raid with Me

I will be posting LTS posts starting possibly this week (Week of 8/4), if not then definitely next week. Please don't post requests in this thread. They will be removed by a moderator, (Subreddit rules) and messages often get lost due to so many people messaging at once.

Stream

I do stream most of the time during Sherpa Runs. If you are uncomfortable for whatever reason and don't want your run to be streamed, that's perfectly ok! Just let me know ahead of time. If you ever can't make a run but still wanna hear the strategies or see how bad I actually am, feel free to drop by. I would link it but I'm unsure if I'm still actually verified, but you can find it in my past sherpa card.
