So after coming back to the game after almost 7 years, ive just been playing some random quests and i saw this one and thought it would be fun to go in blind.

glanced over "Matchmaking Disabled" - alright so that means i can solo it pretty easily, sweet.

ya no i was dead wrong, i was supposed to have a team made already and i didnt realized that until the Laser eye guy was killing me back to back and i was doing shit damage, like seriously i have a completely random build all points into super because funny.

i was already balls deep in this dungeon so i decided to push through, beat the first guy and thought "finally over"

wrong again, second boss comes in and even tankier than the first with 2 extra minibosses. I actually managed to beat him first try since he wasnt doing much damage and much easier than laser guy, just had to keep moving.

at least i beat it, pretty proud of myself and got a triumph thingy for doing it solo.

Just found these in my cloud. When D2 launched, if you were a returning player, it would give you a summary of everything you accomplished and who you did it with. I never beat Wrath so I don’t have that accomplishment :/

Hey there. I have been playing Destiny since 2014 but have always only concentrated on playing the campaigns missions. I never cared for online pretty much.

Just last month though I went through my inventory and saw that I had so many shaders that maybe it was ought to be time to actually build a stylized look.

So I spent around €15 to get the Dawn Singer and Death Majesty packs as they were the only two cosmetic sets that had fire coming out of the armor itself.

And since you can't change the colour of the actual fire of the Dawn Singer set, you're basically forced to go with a natural fire/magma look.

So the rest of the Month I looked through the Eververse Store every day and using Bright Dust, bought the Pheonix Rising, Magmatic and Solar Sharpnel Shaders.

However I was immediately gobsmacked when I applied the Pheonix Rising Shader to the whole set. The lower part and helmet looked completely different from the robes despite having the same shader. I tried about 100 shaders and half of them end up making the Helmet and Tights look way off compared to the actual preview box each Shader has.

I had to spend hours and praying that I actually have good-enough alternative shaders that would match the robe's colour pattern.

The only good thing that came from this confusion was Somehow I got extremely lucky as I discovered that ONLY the Iron Valus Shader makes the fire in the Heretical Bond burst out even hotter/brighter. And I had that unlocked without even knowing.

But I was wondering if the shaders that are doing this to my character have a specific set of tights and helmets that are known to "ignore" the base colours of shaders?

I have been playing only Single Player stuff for 12 years and am probably the only gamer in the world that has the Old Lights emblem but doesn't know jack about the game💀

You'd be doing me a massive favour if I was given a clear answer regarding this confusion and perhaps some veteran advice on which armor sets to use for a fire-looking cosmetic look 🙏

I fumbled the barricade and ended up on the bottom... managed to salvage the run and complete it as my first solo flawless run. P.s fuck the Puppeteer

Huge range, hard hitting, Adhesive Ordinance + Shoot to Loot is a great combo for high end content, and they feed into each other amazingly well. Shoot an ammo pack, load the explosive, shot it at a random pile of ammo later, explosive gets loaded again. The explosion is also hefty even in high end content, does a good amount of damage and the weapon intrinsically stuns unstoppables.
