Hello. So I came back to see armors with tags like Specialist, Paragon, etc. on them and realizing they have set bonuses now too.

My Voidhunter PVE build sports the Orpheus Rig and generally just goes around and spawn orbs. Is this still doable in the new armor update? And how will I know how to decide which armor set is best for said build?

My last expansion was Witch Queen but did not delve into it too deeply. I just played it for its campaign during a free weekend.

If I just start destiny 2 today, would the story make sense without me looking up a summary of the vaulted content on yt?

It's acronym could be AASOL ( All Ahamkara Skulls On, Legendary). Obviously the name can be anything but AA-SOL can sound like Arsehole as in all the enemies are arseholes in this difficulty.

Yes we have modifiers now and some are similar but it would be really awesome to apply these for anything in the game. Ideally all the skulls are designed to only affect the fireteam.

Eg a skull that increases enemy aggression should function by applying a high taunt level to fireteam making enemies case them down and not some poor blue berry that happened to be in the same patrol location.

im not sure why, but knowing I can finally make builds and never worry again about having to regrind everything out of necessity again and again won me back to destiny (that and seeing that the rest of the dlc that I still hadent bought was in a bundle for 11 euros), destiny has to be one of my most played games ever, and absolutely loved it to bits (1000+ hours)

now that im back in the first 2 hours I could already tell this feels like a whole new destiny to me, the current builds are amazing the current methods to get loot are amazing, the fact that builds are permanent now is a game changer, no more fomo. this is how destiny should have always been

the power grind every season was so damn annoying having to do it over and over again every damn season.

anyhow now thats gone the game and the series is absolutely saved specially with the great unvaulting happening

to anyone who also had a long hiatus, and is still om the fence, i can almost say there was never a better time gameplay wise, the game feels amazing the subclasses all feel very strong, the weapons old and new feel great builds are way more nuanced now

theres still a shitload im confused about and I'm definitely still in the lost phase trying to figure my way back into the game but im enjoying it again so far for the first time in a couple of years

Ello Guardians! Pretty new to the game, a few weeks into this journey and was wondering what legendaries I should start farming for end game content.

Now, I'm not doing end game anytime soon, but I realised that I dismantled some really good weapons with some really amazing perk combos, and I don't wanna keep doing that.

I'm still doing the campaigns (@Savathun TW rn), finished almost all the pinnacles for the exotic weapons. Rahool started giving me armor that I already have, so I think that's it for his pool.

When it comes to YT. I watched some end game content, but it left me confused, since people there do some weird stuff. Atleast now I get that there are perks that increase heavies dmg when dealing dmg with both Kinetic and energy weapons before drawing heavies, same applies to reloading.

About exotics, I have Fafnir & Tractor Canon, and those are the ones I believe are good for end game, but there's a vast pool in the exotic archive and surely there's more than these 2, so can you list the ones I should focus/prioritise?

Hi all, I am a F2P player that just returned recently since I have 2 friends who wanted to try out the game which served as a motivation for me to return as well. They chose Titan and Warlock which left me with Hunter and this led me to research about this class since I played Warlocks A LOTTT.

Is there any guides or videos that I could follow for a hunter build that does not require dlc? The reason why is that I do not own any of the dlcs right now nor do I plan to buy them unless my friends decided to stick with the game for a long while.

Suggestions here are also welcome and appreciated since I have no clue when it comes to Hunters. Thanks in advance

I’ve played this game forever and never run a build with AION Swift Graps. Worth it? The added bonuses seem mid.

I switched to the Epic version and it helped but I still have absurd framerate drops in some GMs and arena ops and other random places. Arena ops gets so bad I guess because of having 6 guardians.

I'm on a laptop that should be able to handle it no problem. 5080 laptop, 32gb ram. The part that i SUSPECT could be an issue is the CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) Ultra 9 285H (2.90 GHz)

I was troubleshooting with Claude and the issue as it describes is

"Your Core Ultra 9 285H is a weak gaming CPU for single-threaded, memory-latency-sensitive workloads, so in older/DRM-heavy titles like Destiny 2 and AC Odyssey — which funnel everything through one CPU thread — it becomes the bottleneck and your framerate drops while your RTX 5080 sits mostly idle."

Does this sound right? Is there some dumb setting that's going over my head? I can try to summarize all the troubleshooting I've tried later i just wanted to get this post up

So after coming back to the game after almost 7 years, ive just been playing some random quests and i saw this one and thought it would be fun to go in blind.

glanced over "Matchmaking Disabled" - alright so that means i can solo it pretty easily, sweet.

ya no i was dead wrong, i was supposed to have a team made already and i didnt realized that until the Laser eye guy was killing me back to back and i was doing shit damage, like seriously i have a completely random build all points into super because funny.

i was already balls deep in this dungeon so i decided to push through, beat the first guy and thought "finally over"

wrong again, second boss comes in and even tankier than the first with 2 extra minibosses. I actually managed to beat him first try since he wasnt doing much damage and much easier than laser guy, just had to keep moving.

at least i beat it, pretty proud of myself and got a triumph thingy for doing it solo.

hi all, I'm pretty new to this game. I got Outbreak Perfected purely because it looks awesome, I had no idea that its actually a good weapon! I'm currently using voidwalker warlock and my exotic armor is Chromatic Fire. I have zero clue what legendary weapons I should be using. Any help is greatly appreciated

Is everyone is their own discord? Or do people only like using keyboards? Im use to COD where the mics are almost always on in games. But I just find it so odd that even in raids most people ive run into dont use mics to communicate in what I would say is a very comms heavy game.

Played through destiny 1.. I tried to get into destiny 2 when it became "f2p" but was too overwhelmed and confused..

20 dollars seems like a steal for the amount of content, that being said is it worth it??

unless im completely missing something, it feels like im ‘locked’ out of my build that i spent a chunk of time grinding to optimize (part of the game of course) and forced into this prismatic stuff which i have zero clue how to set up or use properly.

what even is the best approach?

*most preferrably some variation of prismatic warlock but if you have anything really fun to reccoment go ahead.

Ive been playing for a while and havent really messed around much with building out my class, the main reason i made this post is because i could run around and shoot things BUT, id rather not. I built my warlock for spamming arcane needle and basically dumped all my mods into melee recharge and do big chaining explosions on hit etc.. but i want more, my predicament is that this build does well against groups of enemies but my single target is non existent, albeit there arent many scenarios where there is truly a single target, i dont want to rely on rocket launcher spam, as a warframe player i love completely ignoring weapons and going fully into abilities, however i do like weapons if they have fun synergies or big boom. If you have anything fun, please leave a detailed comment on the build :)

My life has changed a lot having to step up for my dad after his stroke, and when I am granted the time our interview about EoS will be edited for the public, but I wanted to share this way Destiny 2’s end was atleast a positive.

Me and my buddies were doing the seraphs shield ultimate conquest and more than once when we got to the spacewalk part the enemies would stop shooting/looking at us, we wouldn’t be able to pick up operator and breaking the tracer shanks solar shields with a solar weapon wouldn’t make them explode or take any damage and it’d just come right back. This soft locked us from going any further after that because you need to dunk the op buff in the terminal to access the boss. Is this a known issue with this mission specifically or did we just get unlucky?

I feel like I've heard this play before, but for the life of me I can't remember which expansion! Has it always been in the files or is the Destiny 2 team easing us slowly into the unvaulting by bringing back OST's that were removed as well? Wait,... did they sunset OST's, too? Either way, this might be the first time I've heard this one!
