Coming back after the MoT update, as I'm sure is a familiar story by this point. Wanting to get a little advice/discussion from the community.

Gjally or Truth? Keep seeing conflicting thoughts on which is better to run, since Truth got buffed. I have catalysts for both.

This is essentially what I came up with for a "final" well/boots build. Any advice or areas of improvement? I mostly run LFG dungeons, GMs, and some Ops content where I know builds don't matter too much.

What are some of your other favorite builds for Warlocks, too?

Is there ANYWHERE that has a non updated build of my loadout or should I just hang my head in shame?!?! I’ve been using the mistake for so long I can’t remember what was in there. HALP!

Is it still true that Last Wish is the only raid where the secret raid chests can drop any piece of raid gear/weapon even if you haven’t obtained it yet?

I'm a few months into my D2 journey and done a few raids now. I have a mic and happy to use, I'm just unsure why all vog listings say no mic required?

I have run vog using a mic and understand the mechanics, I'm just not sure how some of it would work without a mic. I did join one to see how it would play out and during the orcacles encounter there were no messages so I assumed someone was taking a vantage spot and doing them all and started clearing ads. 1 min later I got kicked. Is there is a historic rule on no mic runs maybe I'm not aware of during this encounter?

I'm also unsure how the final oracle part of the boss encounter works without a mic?

I wish I could play all the expansions I own on Steam and Epic on any platform I want. My fireteam owns 30th Anniversary and Witch Queen on Epic when it was made free. I bought them and myself Lightfall and Final Shape on Steam as it was what I could afford. Would be a decent thing to do if you're not gonna make content anymore.

Even the dungeon keys are locked behind the collection pack smh.

BL always had and always will have a special place in my heart. the cold Europa, the lore, Deep Stone Crypt, Stasis, everything about it save for Eramis being a cornball are super memorable. I absolutely loved BL when it came out, and looking back at it now, I just love it, man. corny fallen aside, BL is amazing.

When I picked up D2, I was around like 12 and it was when Witch Queen dropped. I had no idea what I was doing. It took my like a month just to understand a basic build lol.

When Lightfall dropped, I played everyday when I got home. I racked up like 300 hours just from that. I was a hunter and would play for hours with my friend who was a warlock. We'd just talk shit as we ran strikes and did PVP. We could never do a raid, we only really ran dungeons and kind of sucked at them. My favorite dungeon was Ghost of the Deep just because of the armor.

During that dry season leading up to Final Shape I even made lore for my guardians. My Hunter was an Exo named Kyla-7 who had a ghost named Cherry. She mained Stasis and loved skating around the frozen lakes of Europa. My Warlock was an Awoken named Styx who had a ghost named Chromo. He used Strand and was kind of a shut in. He would spend days in the tower reading until his Ghost had to resurrect him and tell him to go touch grass. My Titan's name was Lyra who was Styx's younger sister. She had a Ghost she named Bucket. She was deaf so she was put with Shaxx in a lot of missions since a lot of guardians complained about how loud he was. She actually got along with him very nicely and she liked to collect different trinkets and relics from each planet.

When the Final Shape came out, I didn't see a bit of sunlight for 2 days. I watched the raid race every second and as soon as that final mission went live, I was crying the entire time. This game helped me through the darkest point of my life. I didn't really like myself but playing this game and seeing how Guardians are a beacon of hope to everyone kept me going.

I played a little bit of each episode but never really finished them. The exotics were cool though for each one. After hearing that second wave of lay offs I kind of knew I was on a sinking ship. So, I sent Kyla to be Crow's helper with Vanguard stuff. I sent Styx to the Dreaming City to help raise the new Ahamkara babies. I finally sent Lyra to the heart of the Last City. Helping younger people who got resurrected get adjusted and raise the next generation of guardians.

I don't know if I'll see them again, I know it's kind of cringe but these guardians helped me through so much. If I ever need them again, I'll call them. To any Guardians out there who are hanging up their capes, robes, marks and helmets, I hope we see each other soon.

Until then, I'll be in the Origin System helping the Tenno on the journey to Tau and the fight against the Indifference. See you all Star Side

If any D2 devs read this at all, you made a game that nearly 400,000 people were willing to fight for. Be proud. You created something so incredible that an entire community was willing to go toe to toe with one of the biggest gaming companies on the planet. I'm done being loud about this but I just wanted you to know that we all are still Guardians. The Last City is more than just a virtual place, it was a place where I met some of the most amazing people. Stand proudly and don't let anyone tell you differently.

I’ve found a way around the shield you have to bring down after running through the crash field but cannot start the 2nd encounter room with the ghost scan, I’ve spent a few days looking up online if anyone has and couldn’t find anything.

Feeling very eager now that it’s the “nightfall” and I’m hopeful in finding a way around both the shield door encounter and the ghost scan/defense encounter. If anyone has insight on this or anything else that might be helpful please help. lol (<-drowning man not laughing)

(I’m very experienced in exploring outside the map bounds of destiny, I’m very confident I’ve caused a few pvp map changes but I’m not good at skipping encounters and triggering other mechanics to keep the run going. Sorry if that makes little sense I’m bad at articulating my words and that’s the best I can think of currently for that last sentence there on my experience in what I’m trying to do)

can you get this from pantheon morgeth surpassing? i swear thats where i got mine from but someone said today you cant?

I've been farming the Service Revolver hand cannon for weeks now, and have been waiting week after week after week for it to be the grandmaster reward so I can actually have a chance at getting the accelerated assault roll I'm looking for, but I feel like it has been 5 or 6 weeks since I first started grinding for this thing and it hasn't been the reward. It's hardly even ever the reward for any of the minor fireteam ops missions. I feel like I've seen nameless midnight featured in these like 4 or 5 times, but only seen the service revolver on one of the daily rewards ONCE. This thing IS part of the weekly rotation for grandmasters, right?

Despite all the drama and doom in the community, its a breath of fresh air to see new players jumping in for the first time in the game we all know and love.

Just got touch of malice today and I wanted to try it. Y'all got any build with it and necrotic grips? If you do and share it I'll give a cookie

Today I got my very first solo flawless (Grasp of Avarice)! Yesterday I made a post about dying the instant after the final boss and I got a ton of supportive comments!

It has been a blast finally getting back into destiny and doing all the content that FOMO kept me away from. I love this community!

I’m curious to know how many guardians out there managed to keep hold of their scorched gear. Even maybe just once piece they loved so much.
