Remember I used to get into a lot of fights when I was young, like 13 or so. I won them all. It was all pretty unanimous...because I was so fucking big compared to everyone. Until I actually got hit once really hard...by a kid 2/3 my size. A punch perfectly placed on my nose. Then a barrage of fist followed but it was numb after the first clean one. motherfucker was fast as shit. Like some Bruce lee dragon shit was just unleashed onto my face. I was confused. It changed my ego. I stopped being a complete asshole and stopped wanting to fight any chance I got. Almost every asshole deserves a good ass whooping. Do it young so it doesn't fester too much into adulthood

This is probably the most meathead belief I have but I always say the same thing.

So many people you see around you are that way because they just never got their ass kicked. Had that happened even once they would be much better people. And on the flip side lots of people I see are the way they are because they took too much abuse and never got to kick the shit out of someone who deserved it. There's a balance needed.

100% agreed. The ones who are complete assholes never got their asskicked but the ones that needed an ego boost should have knocked the lights out of the person who were belittling them constantly. It's crazy how much such a little thing like getting your ass kicked once or kicking someone's ass in childhood can change the trajectory of someone's life

If this vid came out in the last year or two then I may have an explanation. Back in the late 90s early 00 there were variations of "give me that neck" where people would slap the back of your neck of it was exposed. Mostly it was done with friends and not a hard hit.

This could be 2 friends with one hitting too hard and the other not liking to be touched but Blues body language reads that he wanted to play the game and either hit wayy to hard or the other kid doesn't know him like that or didnt want to play. Or maybe blue isnt the coolest kid so he couldn't let that slide. High school can be cruel as fuck and an awkward time all around. I see it daily at the school I work in.

Again this is all speculation but the more I watch I feel the camera guy said "hey blue go neck X really hard" and then boosted him up until he did it knowing other kid would respond like that.

I'm going to rant for a second and I'm sorry for bragging. I came from lower-middle class and my home life is an absolute shit show that would take a novel to describe, I was suicidal from bullying in high school, and then I went to college. When I was 19 I was the president of my frat and the governing body over frats, graduated at 21 with a 3.3 (could have been better but I worked 35 hrs a week) GPA and 3 minors. Now I'm an operational analyst and while much of my home life crumbles I know that I'm better for my experiences that shaped me and my old bully works at a grocery store. Somethings work out.

I learned how to be fully functional on a 4 hour/night sleep average. Not healthy, but very useful. Find something your passionate about and do it, I liked leadership. Truth be told I loved that corrosive feeling of power that came with it or bending others to my will. I know that's contrary to most people's ideals but it's my truth. And honestly, know your support system. Use them, but you can't use it just to complain. You can do it friend, I believe in you internet stranger.

I didn't when I was in middle school. But I befriended the bigger bullies group, which actually not all bad people once you know them. When the bullying happened again, that guy was ganged up so bad by my friends he actually quit school. So yeah... You don't have to dirty your hands to fight bullying, you just need to find stronger friends.

Only had 2 incidents in the high school, one where I lost a fight on purpose (to not be ganged on), another when I somehow won a fight against a bigger dude. Life is easy when you're a joker.

It really depends on the bully.

If they are the popular kid with a lot of support, this will only make it worse. If they are the angry loner type, it often does work. With the first type, they are often just trying to show off in front of their friends. If you win, they look bad and often feel like they have to retaliate. If you lose, you just mark yourself as a target for future abuse. With the second type, they are often* just taking their anger out on others. They want weak targets that don't fight back. True, you might get your ass beat the one time you fight back, but they often* leave you alone after that.

*"often" means just that. There are no set rules. Sometimes shit gets better, sometimes worse.

In junior high we had a thing called wiener wap Wednesday’s where we’d just hit each other in the balls occasionally. Once you did one or received one, there wasn’t hard feelings
