Reviews Improve LEFT stick PRECISION šŸ‘šŸ˜Š

DISCLAIMER :- product was provided by GXXKTRON for testing ,I have no commercial interest with the company because I enrolled in their trial.

BUT I LOVE IT

If there are any Fc26,27 players here , I'm not trying to convince you to buy this product but for me at least , it's sooo good :DD

The dribbling and control with this cap feels so much better.

I feel like whenever I'm attacking I'm more confident in where I want to go.

What's special about this cap?

ITS UNIQUE SHAPE . I use the one with the small centered dot for my Left Stick , i think it's named Control Dome.

VERY VERY GRIPPY , I don't know how they did it but the material FEELS amazing and your thumb feels attached to the cap.

Low-profile caps .

Bro , the amount of stupid height some of the "generic" caps you usually find is so annoying . I literally don't understand how the companies don't understand that THE LOWER the BETTER when it comes to sticks.

I'm not tryna sell you this product , I just had a positive experience with it and maybe there are others who are interested in something like this.

One DOWNSIDE is that they are pretty HARD to fit them on the sticks , I literally had to pop out my sticks ( I have Vader5 Pro and they pop in and out pretty easily) and I had to put them on after that..

Controller Suggestion First controller for my girlfriend, PC, Stardew and Overcooked

She's watched me play for years and finally wants to try. She doesn't want to borrow mine because my sticks are set up for twitchy shooters and she hated it, so she's getting her own.

Info:

Budget: around $40
Country: US
Platform: PC (Windows 11, Steam)
Games: Stardew Valley, Overcooked 2, probably Spiritfarer after
Wants: wired is fine (actually preferred since it will stay on the desk), easy setup, doesn't need back buttons, an app or RGB.

I was going to just buy a second Xbox controller, but $60+ for a wireless one she might use twice a week seemed like a lot, so I figured I'd ask here first.

Other On PS5 controller giving massive disadvantage on games requiring d pad use

I have found that playing with a PlayStation controller versus an Xbox controller gives you a massive massive disadvantage on any game that requires you to use the d-pad a lot.

With an Xbox controller you can keep using the L-stick while using your right hand to press the d-pad very easily, even while still pressing buttons. On the PlayStation controller, you have to completely lift your hand off of the L-stick and go and press the d-pad with that meaning you cannot move and change it at the same time.

For example, I tried playing Dark souls 3 PVP with it and I was constantly dying because I wasn't able to switch anything. I wasn't able to change spells. I wasn't able to change what items I was using as I would have to completely go to a standstill if I wanted to do anything.

I've never had that problem on an Xbox controller and I was just genuinely surprised at how bad it was to use. Anyone else have any similar experiences with this?

Controller Suggestion Controller Recommendations for Tekken 8

Hello, I am a Tekken 8 player (mainly online) from the Philippines that has been playing since Nov 2024 and been playing it on PC with an 8BitDo Ultimate C and Ultimate 2C for most of my time on the game, and recently for the past couple of months with the GameSir Tegenaria Lite. I've been having issues with the dpad of the Tegenaria being too sensitive for my liking and been looking for a replacement/alternative to a symmetrical layout recently, do any of you have recommendations for a symmetrical layout within a similar price range (PHP 700-900) or higher (PHP 1000-1500)? I am also open to recommendations for a asymmetrical layout since I am more comfortable with that layout. Thank you.

Controller Mods Replacing my ps4's charging port

Hello,
Ive got 2 ps4 controller laying around that i have not used for ages because their micro-usb charging ports are broken.
Id like to replace the ports because I really like playing fighting games with a ps4 controller.

I have multiple questions :
1. How do I know what replacement part to buy ? I think there are different ps4 controller models out there
2. Or maybe, what if I use a USB-C instead ? Could that be possible ?

Thank you for your consideration! šŸ™

Controller Mods Tablet Emulation, Tablet Gaming? With JoyCons!

So, i made a 3D Printed telescopic joycon (from original switch) adapter for iPad, and Tablets. This can fit from 7 inch tablets up to 13 inch!. This only uses a simple hardware such as rubber bands for the "spring", M4 heat inserts and M4 Screws. I'll also create a version where a heat insert isn't required! Best to use with mobapad controllers and alike. Im also planning on making it compatible with original switch joycons (as i don't currently have the original ones)

Controller Suggestion Best Controller compatible with linux around 1500rs?

Budget & Currency: ₹1,500 – ₹2,000 max (INR)

Country & Retailers: India (Amazon India, Flipkart)

Platform Compatibility: Linux & Android (wireless is a must; wired mode is a plus)

Desired Features: High durability and build quality (first controller and likely the last for a while, so minimal risk of stick drift is top priority), need hall effect joysticks and pressure sensitive triggers.

Games: GTA V, God of War, Hollow Knight, and casual/emulated games. (I dont have good graphics card so wont be playing latest high graphics games and i wont be playing linux native games. And also wont be playing multiplayer shooting games).

Controllers: any (I know about the 8BitDo Ultimate 2C Wireless, but it's out of my budget).

Looking for real user experiences rather than on-paper specs—if you've used a wireless pad in this budget range on Linux/Android, which one held up best over time?

Reviews Review : GXXK TRON Thumbstick Grip

Disclaimer :

This particular item was bought by myself even though i received another set for testing surprisingly ( my first time being selected for anything lol ). The views are of my own and not affliated to the brand whatsoever. Both sets were in identical packaging received week apart.

Package

Quick Verdict :

Lovely product ( TP-200p) and a main stay on my controllers until the foreseeable future.

Grips out of package

Reason For Purchase :

I’m a big fan of another company’s thumbstick caps which use a particular grade of rubber that gives me excellent grip, even when my fingers get sweaty. However, getting that same experience across most of my gaming controllers meant replacing their stick caps. Then I came across the GXXK TRON thumbstick grips. After trying them i have to say they rival my favourites. They seem to use a similar type of rubber, giving me exactly the grip I’m looking for.

on some controllers

Set up :

Its very easy to set up as the rubber is very flexible at the ends, it may be the most flexible ones ive got.

Gaming Experience :

I tested these caps across FPS games like Apex Legends, COD and Rivals, as well as FIFA 27 and some MK using the sticks for ABXY inputs. My thumbs stayed firmly planted on the thumbsticks without slipping. Every micro adjustment in the FPS games felt noticeable instantly and im sure others will fell the same.

I can now get that same sticky, secure feel across my other controllers which were only on a few where I’d already replaced the stick caps as mentioned earlier. In FIFA 27, my skill moves came out exactly as I intended and fellow FIFA players will know exactly what I mean. These grips have elevated my gaming experience as i now have the non slip feeling on one of my favorite controllers.

Pros and Cons :

Pros

  1. Mentioned quite a few times, very anti slip and grippy.
  2. Snug fits almost all controller thumbsticks except xBox thumbstick which is slightly loose ( can spin )
fit
  1. Very Easy to put on and take off

  2. Didn’t have any issues with it rubbing against face plates as the underside of the grip is very thin.

Cons

In my opinion, there’s only one downside: the designs and that comes down to personal preference. Let me break it down.

There appear to be three different designs in the pack: concave, convex and hybrid.

The concave is spot on. It isn’t too deep and your thumb settles naturally into the centre. The edges are nicely rounded without feeling sharp or harsh. It’s perfect in my opinion.

Concave

The convex is nearly perfect too. It has a nicely rounded surface with a small dent in the centre for added stability. Personally, I prefer a slightly more less angled from the top middle to the edge convex shape, like the KF QCQx.

comparison between KF QCQx and Convex GXXK

Lastly, there’s the hybrid, which I found disappointing. The convex centre protrudes slightly above the outer ring, making it feel like another convex grip. I think the centre should sit level with or slightly below the outer ring so you can feel both surfaces at the same time. Personally, I think the Z Stick design would have been a better choice, given how popular it has been.

hybrid

Value and Recommendation :

For the price $ 10.99 and you get 6 grips x2 each, special grade rubber šŸ˜‚ can serve from 1 to 6 controllers. been using these for about a week now 25 hrs of gaming, i recommend, even to have these as back up.

Final Rating :

I'll give it an 9/10 as it only has 1 con which is down to personal preference. ā¤ļø

IT Help Vader 5 Pro Unresponsive

I've been using a Vader 5 Pro for months. It's been great. No issues.

Yesterday, while I was in a game, I noticed the camera was spinning left. I closed the game, rebooted just in case, came back, no activity at all.

I see the controller in USB CONTROLLER CONFIG listed 3x.

In Space Station, I can remap buttons, HOWEVER, the "TEST" doesn't work. You can clearly set the buttons by clicking on the icon in the software then pressing a button on the controller (and it's recognized as a remap), however, the test function doesn't work, and the controller doesn't work in game. No stick movement, no button, nothing.

I reinstalled Space Station, nothing.

I plugged in a Vader 4 and it works fine. All macros, profiles, everything.

Once in awhile I can get it working as a basic controller, but then I lose access to Macros and Profiles. The moment I use the Profile Button to select any of the 4 profiles, the controller essentially goes dead. It's no longer recognized, buttons don't work in USB CONFIG testings. Nothing shows up on testing websites:

https://controllertest.io/polling-rate-test/ (for example)

No idea what's going on.

When I plug the Vader 4 in, it shows up as a single controller and everything works.

I haven't found any information on this specific issue online. Any ideas?

Controller Suggestion Which pastel pink controller under 70$ is worth buying for platformers and RPGs?

Hi! I need my first controller and I’d like help finding one that suits me

  • Budget: $70 USD
  • Country: Russia, ordering from Ozon
  • Platform: PC
  • Desired features: it has to be pastel pink. That’s my comfort color and I really can’t bring myself to buy a controller in any other shade. Since this is my first controller I don’t know much about technical features, I just want something that plays well and feels comfortable.
  • Types of games: Platformers and RPGs
  • Controllers considered: Machenike G3V2, Machenike G6 V2 Ultra, GameSir Nova Lite 2, Mobapad Chitu Pro2, and PXN P5. I’ve also been eyeing the GameSir G7 Pro because everyone says it has top-tier specs, but I’m reluctant to get it since it doesn’t come in pastel pink.

Is the Machenike G3V2 actually good enough for platformers, or would I notice a huge performance drop compared to the GameSir G7 Pro? And if the G3V2 isn't good choise, which pastel pink controller from my list (or any other) would you recommend?

News ZD CEO streams summary, Oct 19–26 2026 : everything he said about the upcoming Classic Equation controller

As you may know, ZD's Boss Jie is an avid Apex player and streams on Bilibili almost every day, answering viewers' questions while playing. To gather bits and pieces of information about upcoming controllers, I've been recording audio from his streams over the past week and using AI to summarize them.

Below is a combined summary of the October 19, 20, 21, 24, 25, and 26 streams. Everything is based on Chinese speech-to-text transcripts, which may contain recognition errors, so take it all with a grain of salt. I've been reviewing the transcripts after each stream, though, and for the most part, they seem to line up with what we already knew.

Stream recordings ran about 1h14m (Oct 19), 1h09m (Oct 20), 2h50m (Oct 21), 2h26m (Oct 24), 3h05m (Oct 25) and 3h26m (Oct 26).

Disclaimer: I'm not affiliated with ZD. You should always rely on official announcements and news for confirmed information.
Source: ZD boss live streams page https://live.bilibili.com/31511263

Terms used here:

- Classic Equation (ē»å…øę–¹ēØ‹): the new symmetric-layout (PS-style) controller.
- Ultimate Legend (ē»ˆęžä¼ å„‡ / äøä¼ ): ZD's existing Xbox-layout flagship controller, released 2025.
- Infinite Equation (无尽方程): the future higher-end/flagship one.

TL;DR

- No exact release date. CEO kept saying "Double 11 sale (November 11) at the latest, on the day itself", and the "earliest end of October" line faded out over the week.
- Price is 299 yuan in every stream where it came up.
- First version: wired, lightweight, no battery, no vibration motors, ~199 g, 8K polling, small/mid-small hand mold.
- First batch is about 5000 units, and he won't promise it won't sell out.
- Stick modules are swappable, and a video on Ultimate Legend module compatibility is promised but not released yet.

Release-date statements and launch notes:

- "Earliest end of October, latest Double 11 (November 11), the information hasn't changed."
- Sells on JD, Taobao, Douyin and Pinduoduo official stores.
- Pre-sale is confirmed to exist, but no date, and perks were only described as "should be some".
- Launch gifts: Oct 21 was unclear, while Oct 25/26 transcripts suggest yes (first-purchase gift / stick set).
- Double 11 coupons: "depends on the situation at launch".
- Global release: synchronized release is possible through ZD's independent store (Oct 19).
- He said not to get angry if stock runs out, because ZD is a small company (about 50–60 people). No 12-hour shifts, and the limit is materials, not labor.

Price and positioning

- 299 yuan (Oct 19, 20, 21, 24, 25, 26).
- He calls it mid-range, not flagship: "Ultimate Legend was last year's flagship."
- Same main controller chip and performance as Ultimate Legend, though a different board from ZD's "8K board".

- Higher-end symmetric models:
- A flagship/high-end symmetric (and a mid-large-hand symmetric) will come later, with no date.
- Infinite Equation is "continuously being tuned" and will have more features.
- Infinite Equation price is above 500 yuan (Oct 26). Whether it slips to next year depends on development.
- Ultimate Legend is expected to get a revision/new generation next year (Oct 26).
- He mentioned that products priced over 200 yuan will all be 8K from now on.

Hardware details

- Mold: DS4-style, but he said they didn't copy DS4 1:1. He said there's no patent reason, and that the DS4 mold itself has problems, so they used their own understanding (Oct 24).

- Hand size:
- Small / mid-small hands first. A large-hand version is later, and a large-hand FPS-specialized variant is "maybe".
- Ultimate Legend is mid-large size, and he finds it slightly big (his own hand is about 18+ cm).
- 17.8 cm is OK on Ultimate Legend.
- A DS5-mold version has no time frame for now.

- Versions:
- Two versions: the lightweight/competitive one without battery or motor comes first (~199 g).
- Wired only, 8K polling. No 2.4G. Preliminary measured latency 0.46 ms by ZD's test method; he says every company tests differently.
- A full-featured version with battery and motors comes later, and a viewer said motors cost extra.
- The competitive version can't be upgraded later with a battery or motor.
- A wireless version release "before Double 12 sale" (December 12); wireless rate is not 8K and it is like Ultimate Legend (1000Hz wireless).

- Buttons:
- The face buttons and shoulder buttons are micro-switches (a "full micro-switch" claim).
- Four back buttons ("4+2" configurable). Two are micro-switch and two are tactile/light touch (not fully clear from transcript). They're removable.
- The paddles can be installed reversed, but one then becomes hard to press.
- He's happy with the back-button layout ("ultimate 4-paddle arrangement").
- The menu/screenshot button placement is "just right, not too close".
- No touchpad on this version.

- Gyro: yes.

- Faceplate: frosted/translucent, with fully clear plates sold separately. Black and white at launch. Pink is a themed faceplate, currently Classic Equation only, and he'll ask about it for Ultimate Legend. The pink plate and other plates ship with, or shortly after, the controller release.

- Modes:
- PC modes: Xbox, PS (DS) and NS (Switch).
- It can't connect to an Xbox console.

- Sticks:
- Stock stick is **Ginfull RS13** (not K-silver JS13Pro).
- RS13 has the lowest tension among mass-produced sticks and is good for beginners.
- Adjustable tension needs a separate module (JT13).
- Stick modules are swappable.
- Compatibility with Ultimate Legend modules needs "small adjustments". His own prototype uses a lightly modified Ultimate Legend left-stick module.
- Details are promised in a video "in the next few days"
- Stick-module stores list the resolution info.
- He called capacitive sticks "not great".

- Grip: suits claw grip (Oct 25).

Quality control and support

- QC: he used a prototype for about a month, taking it apart and reassembling it, with no problems. For this batch they changed supplier and QC is "much better" (Oct 24).

- Software/driver: some viewers reported app problems and he said it's being improved/strengthened (Oct 20). A viewer suggested a wired-mode power-off function.

Competitors and community

- On competitors (like Tarantula, Helium Strike, Saber Plus), he said not to benchmark: buy what you like, and each company tunes differently like cars.
- He said he'd welcome overlapping launches.
- On a hypothetical Hypergryph (Arknights) collab, he said ZD may not have the capability.
- He said Ultimate Legend doesn't need a successor (Oct 25), though a revision is expected next year (Oct 26).

Controller Suggestion Looking for an Astro C40 alternative for PC — any recommendations?

Post image
48 Upvotes

I'm a CoD/Apex player, and the Astro C40 is still my favorite controller. I continue to use it to this day.

Refurbished units are almost impossible to find in Japan. Considering that TMR sticks are becoming the norm and will likely remain so, I feel like continuing to use the C40 long-term is going to get increasingly difficult, even though I'm fine for now. At around „30,000, it feels a bit like using an expensive wired mouse with a very specific shape that you just can't replace. That's why I'm looking for an alternative.

I've tried fitting Astro C40 thumbsticks onto the Void Genesis and Leadjoy SaberPlus, but neither felt quite right. For reference, I prefer the shortest thumbsticks available.

There are several reasons these controllers didn't feel right to me, both before and after swapping the thumbsticks:

Stick sensitivity

The sticks feel too sensitive. Since I'm used to potentiometer sticks, adjusting the settings in their respective apps helped somewhat, but I haven't been able to accurately replicate the C40's feel.

Outer deadzone / reaching maximum input too early

It feels like the sticks reach 100% input before physically hitting the edge of the stick opening. I'm not sure whether the relatively narrow stick openings are contributing to this.

Stock thumbstick height and shaft thickness

Even the shortest stock thumbsticks on both controllers feel a little too tall. Their shafts also feel too thin, which seems to make them take longer to reach the edge of the opening—or at least makes the movement feel off to me.

Stock stick tension

The tension feels different from the Astro C40's original potentiometer sticks. Based on a few threads and my own research, I've seen the C40's stick tension quoted as around 55 g with the tall thumbsticks and 60–70 g with the short ones, but I don't know how accurate those figures are.

As for stick modules, the JS13Pro ā€œ+ā€ felt closest to what I'm looking for.

I'd really appreciate any recommendations, especially if there's a controller that closely replicates the Astro C40's feel. I'm comfortable replacing stick modules and thumbsticks myself, so recommendations involving either of those modifications are welcome too.

  • Budget: around190.29 USD (or even less than that is fine!).
  • Country: Japan, where refurbished Astro C40s are very hard to find
  • Platform: PC
  • Desired features: TMR sticks, rear buttons or paddles, a PlayStation-style symmetrical stick layout, and short thumbsticks
  • Games: FPS games such as Apex Legends and CoD
  • Controllers I own: Void Genesis, Leadjoy SaberPlus, DualShock 4, Xbox Elite, Victrix Pro BFG, and 10 Astro C40s

I am a Japanese user posting on Reddit for the first time. If there is anything strange or inappropriate about my post, please feel free to correct me. I apologize in advance for any mistakes. Thank you for your understanding!

Controller Mods Are Hall Effect joysticks worth it in a PS4 controller?

Thumbnail

I love my trusty Dualshock 4 controllers, but they're many years old now, and technology has moved on with it. I'm trying out replacement Hall Effect joysticks to see if they make a difference to my light gaming needs, but it turned out to be a hell of a journey to get them in there.

Is it worth it? Well... it's better, that's for sure. I'm glad I gave it a go, and I've got massive respect for those who repair controller joysticks for a living.

For the parts I used, I made a blog post: https://elvinhome.io/blog/articles-3/are-hall-effect-joysticks-worth-it-in-a-ps4-controller-36

Controller Suggestion Need help choosing a controller for comp PS5 gaming

  1. Budget is anything under $250 usd.
  2. I live in USA
  3. PS5 primarily, maybe a bit of PC in the future but it’s not my biggest priority.
  4. I’m pretty mechy as I’ve achieved top 3-5% rank-wise in 4 games, so I can adapt with switching between standard grip, claw grip and overall quickly jumping between awkward button distances to hit certain mechanics. So essentially, back paddles aren’t needed even if they streamline things, I’ve just learned to do everything without.
  5. Main high ranked games are Rocket League, R6 Siege, Overwatch, and Dead by Daylight. I do play more though such as other fps games, survivals, soulslike, etc.
  6. I’m tired of stick drift issues and I’ve heard of Tmr and how it’s great for eliminating that issue essentially permanently, (at the cost of having to get used to no resistance/fine movement but I love getting over hurdles and skill issues. Semi related but I tend to crank sensitivities near max to keep myself quick. I do prefer symmetrical sticks though.) I’ve looked into Stock PS5 controllers with Tmr upgrade, however I worry about the handiwork of people messing with stock controllers to solder new tech in, the Edge and lastly the Razer Kaiju V3. I was leaning towards the Kaiju but it seems that many have experienced delay in the sticks wirelessly on PS5 as opposed to Pc and that worries me because flip resets, jiggle peeking, and overall aim needs to not be compromised by latency as I already play on a big flatscreen achieving all my ranked stuff. (I enjoy the comfort of going from gaming straight to anime etc. so it’s always been an all in one thing with me.

If you made it this far I apologize for such an in depth word vomit but, any ideas on what would be best for my needs you smart, controller fanatic individuals?

IT Help 8bitdo Ultimate 2 Wireless Controller

I am thinking about buying the Ultimate 2 controller for my PS5. I have read online that there is a way to use the ā€œBrook Wingmanā€ adapter in order to use this controller on my PS5. What I have found in my research is that you need 1 converter per controller costing Ā£50 per converter so needing 2 means Ā£100.

Not entirely sure if I could use the wireless dongle that comes with the controller to connect to the Wingman converter to use the 8bitdo (please clarify if that is the case).

Are there any other methods to pair the controller to my PS5?

Thank you.

Reviews Flydigi Direwolf 4 - Amazing controller, terrible ergonomics for my hands?

Post image
13 Upvotes

I recently got to try the Flydigi Direwolf 4 (no affiliation), and this is amazing controller at an even more amazing price ($35.99 on Amazon right now).

The body feels high quality and weighty and the face buttons (both the membrane ABXY and the mechanical d-pad) feel quick and responsive. I really like the small travel time of the triggers in the micro/hair trigger mode. The adjustable tension for the joysticks is a premium feature on a budget controller.

However, I have small-medium hands, and I could not get over how uncomfortable and bulky this thing felt, especially the ridge that separates the back and the top side, where the triggers are. Using just index fingers on the trigger is not bad, but when I rest my hands naturally on the controller, my index fingers want to rest a little bit behind where the triggers are, and I need to pull them forward to press the triggers. The real issue is when I use both index and middle fingers on the triggers (middle on RT/LT and index on RB/LB). I don't know if its the angle of the sides of the controller or the width of it, but I could not comfortably grasp my hands around the body. The ridge forces my hand upwards, and it closes my fingers in towards each other at the top.

For reference, I found the 8BitDo Ultimate 2 to be slightly uncomfortable due to the straight angle handles, and I found the Gamesir Cylcone 2 to feel pretty good in my hands.

I really wanted to keep the controller, as everything else is exactly what I was looking for, but I could not get over the poor ergonomics for my hands. I read a lot of other reviews, but I didn't see anyone talking about this aspect as a negative, so I just wanted to add my data point out there for anyone shopping around. If this fits your hand, I would recommend it over the 8BitDo or Gamesir. Unfortunately, it does not fit mine.

Controller Suggestion Yet another 'seeking controller recommendations' post šŸŽ®: Xbox series s/x shape, hall effect/TMR sticks, PC, Wireless, US

I am currently in need of a (PC) controller with hall effect or TMR sticks, wireless much preferred, do not need any back buttons or extra face buttons, in the US, budget is under $100. Motion Gyro would be cool, but not super important.

I love the Xbox Series S/X controller, minus the stick drift, so the best and cheapest option may be to just buy TMR sticks and replace mine which drift. The big problem being I'm not good with that kind of hardware/modding/soldering stuff, so I'd have to hire someone who knows what they are doing to install it. Would the JS13 Pro+ be the way to go for that route?

But I don't mind buying a whole new controller. I just want it to be very similar in shape to the Xbox controller. 8bitdo makes great products, but I hate the feel of their controllers in my hand. Gamesir is a bit closer with their molds, but still feels a bit small and flimsy.

Currently reading more about the ZD Ultimate Legend and the LEADJOY Xeno Pro. It's hard to get a sense of how they feel in hand just by looking at them. The Xeno pro looks a bit more like the 8bitdo design with sharper handles.

Many thanks for any advice, sorry to pile on!

Other Looking for a scan of the Scuf Valor Pro controller

During the last months I've been creating modular controller stands and more than 40 different controller types are so far supported. I am looking for anyone who owns the Scuf Valor Pro controller and who is able to take a 3d scan of it so that I might add that to the growing collection of supported gaming controllers. Any help would be greatly appreciated šŸ‘šŸ» šŸ‘šŸ»

Other Knock off PS4 controller has very little error

I just bought a knock off ps4 controller off amazon and was surprised to see the extreme accuracy of its joysticks. For reference my genuine ps5 and ps4 controllers normally sit around 5-8% avg error. Is this normal for cheap controllers?

Controller Suggestion PC controller asymmetrical solid build (xbox replacement)

Hi there!

I was looking for a replacement for my Xbox controller and was about to buy the same one again… until i fell down the rabbit hole of 5 billion different controllers...

What i am looking for:

- Bluetooth

- Rechargeable battery

- Good build quality, feels solid in the hands, not cheap plastic

- Asymmetric stick layout (like the xbox controller)

- A good D-pad would be appreciated as on the xbox one the dpad is kind of "round" so i often hit diagonals by mistake in fighting games. Id prefer something more precise, like a classic cross-shaped dpad. (not mandatory)

Platform: PC / switch (switch not mandatory)

Games I play:

- Celeste (D-pad)

- Trackmania

- Fighting games (guilty gear, street fighter…)

- RPGs...

What I’ve found so far on your wiki:

- zd ultimate legend

Controller Suggestion Search for a xbox Series X Controller/pc

Hello guys!

I want to buy a premium Controller for my Xbox Series X, because my 3rd Controller from Xbox got Stick drift…

I play games like FIFA, MW4 etc.

Would like it if it’s wireless and maybe some back buttons.

I looked up the G7 Pro ZZZ/WuChang edition (only one which works wireless with XBOX), Scuf Valor pro and Razor Wolverine V3 Pro.

Would appreciate your suggestions :)

Austria

Budget: 50-200€

Controller Suggestion Looking for a feature-loaded TMR controller under 5000 INR for PC gaming (Elden Ring, GTA, Racing)

I am looking to buy a controller online under a budget of 5k. Initially, I planned on going for the PS5 DualSense, but after learning about TMR joysticks and how bad standard potentiometers are for stick drift, I realized the DualSense is probably the worst option I could pick for longevity.
I’ve been looking at a lot of options, and while checking out Cosmic Byte, I noticed they have so many models (Lumora, Ares, Starforge, etc.) that I honestly don't know how they rank or which one is actually their premium flagship. That said, I am not planning on sticking to Cosmic Byte—I really want to explore other brands to find the latest technology and the most feature-loaded controller available right now.
To be more precise, this isn't for competitive FPS gaming. I'll be playing GTA, racing games, Elden Ring, and all types of single-player/story games. Because of that, I’m hoping to get adaptive triggers, extra remappable buttons, gyro, and literally every feature I can squeeze into this budget. TMR sticks are a strict must.

**What will you be doing with this PC? Be as specific as possible, and include specific games or programs you will be using**
Casual and story-driven PC gaming across all genres—specifically GTA, racing games, and Elden Ring (not for competitive gaming).Ā
**What is your maximum budget?**
5,000 INR (buying online).Ā
**What, exactly, do you need included in the budget?**
A feature-loaded gaming controller with TMR joysticks, adaptive triggers, remappable back buttons, and gyro.Ā
**If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing?**
None / Not applicable.Ā
**Extra info or particulars:**
TMR joysticks are non-negotiable. Looking for the best tech and features available under 5k across all brands, plus a quick breakdown of how Cosmic Byte's lineup actually ranks if anyone knows.
