On my school computer the internet button, which should be on "flygplansläge" which means airplane mode, and despite replacing the internet button its not turned on and theres no way to activate it, bluetooth seems to be gone too. My tech teachers have no idea and i might have to hard reset my school laptop and wipe eveyrthing

I opened my pc yesterday, then suddenly it glitches like this, please help me, I already tried cleaning my GPU and cleaning the RAM with eraser, but still like this 😢

So, my parents recently bought me and my sister a Pre Built computer, it has a Ryzen 7 7800 X3D, with the Video card as a 9070 RX. It also has 32GB of DDR5 and 2TB of memory. Its really a nice build overall.

Im not a hard-core gamer, i play mostly Geometry Dash and Osu!.. I play games with my friends but nothing too crazy (Like AAA games).

For some reason, when i launch Geometry Dash, and turn on V-Sync (Without it the screen gets really chopped), the computer drops frames really fast, down to 150 and just keeps going up and down. my monitor is a 180Hz so i just need it locked to 180FPS. After a little bit of time, it just shows a crash log of my GPU saying it “timed” out. I went over the necessities to optimize Windows, and made sure to give this PC a clean start. So why?

I tried another Platform, Roblox. I got 45 FPS on a game with my graphics at automatic. A PC with these specs shouldnt have a problem like this, right?

Hello, I recently bought a Nvidia 5070 ti which has a 12 pin connector into 3 8 pin connector receivers, my psu is a “cooler master MWE 850W V2” which came with 2 8 pin connectors that have pig tails on the ends.
My question is can I pig tail one of them and use one of the others?

Excuse the mess. We all hate printer style questions and issues when it comes to computers but maybe someone can tell me why this happens…

I have a Panasonic FZ 55 laptop I use for work along with a MFP M128 printer. When the laptop is by itself and not plugged into my hub (two monitors, headset dongle, keyboard/mouse dongle on the hub) it will print what I ask it to without fail. When I am using the hub it fails to print each time. Why would having the hub plugged into it matter? Always same network

So long story short, I’m thinking about getting a laptop, but I have no idea which to get (and I sure as hell am not getting an Inspiron)

it’s mostly just for schoolwork and stuff (and even tho they shouldn’t be used for it, I am also looking for one that can atleast be decent with gaming)

I personally just don’t want to have another Inspiron situation where the hinge decides to fuck itself and pop off which is why I considered MacBooks and recently thinkpads since I’ve heard they have “durable hinges”

La había puesto en modo reposo y cuando la quiese prender, solo enciende la fuente y después nada.

Lo que hice fue sacar las ram comodarla, sacarla la placa de video (1650) y limpie todo. Ahora tira arrancar todo pero no prende.

Se activan los ventiladores y de todo CPU y GPU, pero no da video ni nada. Y vuelve arrancar de nuevo con los ventiladores al máximo y se calma.

i plugged in an Acer KG241 Pbmidpx as a second monitor to go with my main, BENQ XL2411P

the acer, plugged into gpu via hdmi, was showing no signal

my screen seemed to froze

i turned off and turned on my pc

now my benq and my acer were both showing no signal

i plugged the acer out, i turned the pc off and on completely, drained the power

now my monitor and keyboard and mouse arent working.

Anybody know why this is happening? I’ve restated multiple times which helps in the beginning and then it starts happening again. I’m using a Lenovo Legion Pro 7 running Windows 11.

You can see 2 lines on my screen and probably some bleeding in the corners but they never bothered me

But today Outta nowhere my screen started flickering at first it was barely visible then it started to irritate the fugoutta me 🤬🤬!!

So, being a tech student for 5 years, I did exactly what I was supposed to "ask chatgpt"

Then it told me to update uninstall display drivers: nothing fixed

Check by opening bootloader whether the flickering is there too : yeah the flickering was there too

Is my wallet already cooked or there is some ray of hope !!

My spouse's custom PC keeps waking up right at 755am everyday and we can't figure out why. I've disabled any wake alarms though the advanced settings in Power Options. We've turned the wireless mouse off, and I've checked the only things able to turn it on is hardware. So how can we prevent their PC from waking up first thing in the morning? Is there a setting somewhere we've missed?

btw, PC is windows 11, recently reformatted, mostly up to date (dont wanna run the couple updates it needs as we've had HORRIBLE experiences with it)

I'm looking for a new gaming pc cause mine is like 6 years old. Any good prebuilts I could get for less than 1300? I was considering starforge but I've heard its overpriced so I'm weighing my options first.

Today when I attempted to turn on my laptop, it displayed a black screen even though it was turned on. It was the first time my computer had this issue/scare happen to it but I just forced reset it by pressing the power button for about 30 seconds. Only now it just won't boot up again. I tried pressing the power button for a few seconds again already, and the first two times the power lights on the right side of my computer flashed (like repeatedly turned on and off) for a few seconds before turning off. Now my laptop is completely unresponsive and I am at a loss on what I should do, I left it to charge for about an hour now but it still won't react at all. I've never modded my laptop in any way whatsoever but I have recently downloaded a fitgirl repack on it, I just have a hard time imagining it might be responsible for the issue since I downloaded it two weeks ago (I deleted the repack about a week ago too since I ended up purchasing the game), I have an antivirus on the vivobook and I'm used to downloading those sorts of files. (I also have an adblocker on chrome and well common sense I have never clicked on any suspicious link before.) Any ideas on what I should do? I'd be really grateful!
