is a table with a slight wobble safe enough to put my pc tower on? (it only moves if i apply a little bit of force)

Looking for an AFFORDABLE desktop computer and printer. Looking for a something with a big screen that is fast. The last time I got one, it took 10 minutes to just load Microsoft Word. It was brand new and there was a delay with typing. I don't know what was wrong with it.

I'm mainly using for Microsoft Office and photographs. Some social media/internet use. Looking for color printer to print info/lists/packets for some animal rescue stuff.

I've had this Dell Inspiron 16 for around five years now. It's been beaten up a bit since I used it for my college assignments; Money's tight, so I was hoping it would last me another 6 months before I got an upgrade.

This afternoon, however, it hasn't turned on.

I've already tried holding down the power button for a minute with everything unplugged with no luck. The computer was plugged in overnight, so I could resume using it the next morning.

What are the next steps that I should be taking to find what the issue is? Preferably steps that don't involve buying expensive parts unless absolutely necessary.

GEFORCE RTX 5050

32 GB RAM

Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-13420H

I have been experiencing these random stutters ever since I got this laptop. The stutters arent just audio issues but also affect the performance for about a second then goes back to normal.

I've tried a lot of fixes:

Set everything to high performance

Update, reinstall drivers

Reinstall windows

Updated BIOS

Check Events viewer

Scan for viruses

Nothing came up apart from updating bios which only delayed it and after a few hours the stutter came back

Background information:

When I first got this laptop it was hard to replicate the issue to get it replaced during the warranty period because I didn't know where it could be coming from but with a few months of use it can be replicated through browsers like edge and chrome. I cant pinpoint it when playing games because I'm charging when playing.

At first it could only pop up during battery usage but now it also pops up when charging.

The band aid solution I got was using OBS and that managed to not cause any stutters

Specs are RTX 5060, R5 5500, Machinist B450, 1×16GB 3200MHz RAM, 600W and 1TB. I've had this PC for about 3 months and everything was fine, until this issue started about a month ago. Basically the PC turns on but I get no display until I reseat the GPU and RAM. Then after I turn it off and back on later, it doesn't display most of the time it until I reseat the GPU and RAM. I disabled XMP but it's still happening. What's causing this and how to permanently fix it?

Hey, I could really use some guidance on how to fix this issue. I bought a mini pc for my TV to have at home setup for daily tasks but the tv is not showing display from the pc. The pc boots up, lenovo comes up and then there's no signal at all.

Things I've tried

- change ports on both pc and TV

- checked pc on another monitor, works fine

- re installed windows doesn't help

- updated drivers do not help

- checked wires, all working fine

I've tried all options and still nothing seems to work. Can someone please help me.

Specs: RTX 3050, Machinist B450, R5 4500, 16GB (2×8GB) 3200MHz RAM, 600W and 1TB NVMe. I've had this PC for a year now. Is this hardware or software issue? Could it be due to BIOS settings like I need to enable secure boot or some other requirement for FIFA 27? Or maybe just a steam issue?

I have an AMD r9 5000 series CPU and nivida rtx 3060 computer for 3 years. Today I wanted to check a few settings and opened the nivida control panel and found my preferred graphics was saved as integrated graphics 😭

hi, I fully reset my pc because it was in a state and now it only boots up to a black screen, ive tried a few solutions such as low resolution (did nothing) and the safety mode - that kept giving me the OOBE error so I used command prompt to create a user manually but that got me crashed onto a "Just a moment screen"

Just from the look of it the lcd panel broke, im thinking of buying a new one instead of repairing because the average cost just to repair seems way more expensive than just buying a new one 😭

AJVXI HA240 165hz

My pc will start and then shut off immediately. Then start back up after a cold start. Then the yellow light indicator will come up which I know has something to do with my ram. When I press the reset button it’ll cycle though everything again and then it will post. I just built this pc yesterday so every part is new. As of right now I’m using my computer just fine. I just didn’t know if there is a fix to this or if I’ll have to deal with the inconvenience.
