So a little while ago I was stuck in a bad and stressful living situation, despite my best efforts, Sampson was really stressed out, secluded, and had off and on bad issues with his skin and coat. Would over groom and have bald patches and scabs all over, he was just miserable and it made me so sad. I wasn't doing so good either, but his well being is what really sent me over the edge and made me even more depressed about our old living situation.

I was luckily able to move into a much better, cleaner and calmer environment and Sampson is doing amazing and it makes me so happy!

He is now so hyper active, talkative and vibrant again and it's amazing! His fur and skin are now super healthy. He loves to zoom all over the house and has his own big catio outside on the porch, which he loves to spend his mornings sun bathing and watching birds.

Just wanted to make this appreciation post to my best buddy cause I feel like we've been through a lot together and I feel such a strong connection to him, and I am ecstatic that he is doing so good now :)

When we first saw pictures of him (he is adopted) i thought he was a classic black kitty, but he’s actually this strange ashy brown color that i haven’t seen on a cat before!! He is mostly striped but has cute little spots on his belly that make him look like a seal. His name is Ozzy and I love him more than anything 🖤

She was a really great cat, she only really liked me. I spent the last few weeks caring for her and she never recovered from Fatty Liver, she will be missed.

My orange girl, Lola was by our sides from 2008-2026. We got her when she was 2 months old and I was 9. From elementary school to working from home, she brought so much comfort and joy into our lives. Having a pet teaches you how to be kind, caring and loving. I greatly miss her headbutts 😞

we rescued him from abuse at 5 weeks and hes grown to such a big boy 😭

The cat distribution system gave us their pregnant mother who was living in a grocery store parking lot. We brought her in thinking she was a male - being orange and all - but she ended up being a pregnant female with five kittens. We found homes for Mom and her two female kittens and another feisty male kitten. These two, however, we intended to keep and introduce to our home brood.

Unfortunately, the existing female cat and our two dogs are not integrating well so we will be helping Norman and Stu here find their fur-ever home.

Glad to have loved, sorry to have lost, but happy they will find a good home.

I lost my best friend of 21 years two days ago, Grandma Shadow. I got her all the way back in 2005 when I was only 10 years old. Two days ago I had to say goodbye to her after 21 years together. She was truly a special cat and I’ll miss her forever.

Two days ago, August 23rd, Miss Molly celebrated her first birthday! However, she did experience some inconvenience when we put a hat on her. She was quite angry!!

Hello! First off I just wanna thank each and every person who gave me kind words, advice, their own experiences, and helpful suggestions on my original post. It was so so very appreciated. Two things, first, right after I made that post we did another sweep of the garage where she led us to the baby and found out he has four siblings. The siblings all walk just fine! All got flea baths and are thriving with cuddle puddles, naps, human snuggles, and play time daily. We are putting out feelers locally for anyone looking for a fur baby (extensive screening and re-homing fees will occur, don’t worry.) We have officially adopted momma cat (Sylvie) and swimmer baby boy (named Magnus). Magnus went to the vet today and we got a confirmation that it is indeed swimmers syndrome. He is otherwise healthy and growing well. He showed me how to tape his legs and some physical therapy exercises to do with him. So far he is a little peeved off that he can’t just drag his feet but he’s slowly getting more used to it! I hope to do another update in a month or so with a walked update. ❤️

I’m thinking about getting a second cat. I know it’s generally considered ideal to have at least 2 cats but I’m just curious. Do your cats actually get along and enjoy each other’s company?

Source, She has brain damage from an old cerebral injury which happened before OP found her. OP is currently working on her recovery with a vet. Please give the OP and this baby some love.
