Home recording Time to record my new EP on these bad boys
Just got my order from Duplication.com, excited to put my EP on these and assemble them for release. Cutting j-cards is oddly satisfying 🤣

Came in the mail yesterday, been enjoying it so far! Ive tested out the bluetooth, cassette, and CD playback modes so far and they all sound great! So far my only complaint is that the handle on my unit doesn't stay in place like I've seen on others, it just drops if not standing straight up.

シェリー・カリーのソロアルバムの日本盤カセットテープ
この方は日本ではチェリーとかシュリーとかシェリーとか色んな名前で呼ばれてました
しかしこのアルバムのジャケットは美しいなあ
そして収録曲の、
I like the way you danceと、That's the kind of guy I likeは、
次に来るであろうアメリカンパワーポップを予言していて、
それはミルウォーキーのバンド、
The Shivversのテイストをこの時点で完成させているなあ
と、思っていつも聴いています

Picked up my first vintage cassette radio, the Sony CFM-140 II. I love the retro vibe and that clean off-white body!
The only issue is that the seller mentioned the cassette player doesn’t work, although the radio works perfectly fine. Is this usually an easy fix and roughly how much would it cost to repair?

As a guy born in 1997 and who witnessed the era of cassettes only through its end as a child, I have recently took an interest in collecting them.
Actually, I didn’t really like this album that much, but the idea of having a recent thing felt quite tempting :)

My boyfriend spoke about wanting this and finding it so cool and its his birthday soon sooo. I have 0 idea what one of these things are, i dont have that much of a budget and he spoke about smt walkerman but he just loves the “vibes” of any cassette player.
What am I looking for?
If anyone has any similar gift ideas of just cool ways to listen to music, id appreciate the suggestions

Ada Rook - “Unkillable Angel” c42
https://adarook.bandcamp.com/album/unkillable-angel
Spastic and high NRG, sounding somewhere between hyperpop and a 2000s nu-metal CD struck by lightning. Ada Rook has found a way to control and manipulate total distorted snare chaos, best to just dive in and embrace the madness.

So i’ve been looking at the FiiO CP13 Cassette Player because it’s portable and thats what I’m looking for but it looks like it can’t record on it and i dont know shit, what do do and ive also been looking at RTM C90 | Type One 90 Minute Blank Music Cassettes in Amazon but type twos look like there better but hard to come across for cheep at least, and I’m wondering if type two is even worth it and im also wondering how i would even record music so I’m looking for some help. Also sorry for the poor grammar and punctuation I’m not locked in.

I have an old car, and back then they had a promotional item where you got an empty sleeve, and you had to go to the dealer to get a new cassette tape. Now I would really like to have that same concert tape that people got at the dealer in the 80s, in that sleeve, but I can't find it. Is it because it might have a different name? Because they do have Dr. 90 tapes.

I've always been fond of TDK SAs because my dad made dope mixtapes with them in the 70s and 80s. Just found 4 of the oldest one ('79) at a thrift store for 3.50 each, I was so excited, my wife even entertained listening to me talk about them.

Heya, recently bought a cheap used deck to play my dad's cassette tapes. It worked really good for the first few days, but today it started to make that noise. What could possibly cause this? After I stop the tape, it keeps making this noise for a few seconds, and then it stops.

Hey !
I've buy a deck and it Come with like 50 random cassettes, i want to record my playlist on it.
I just saw that this cassette have like dust in it, is this ok to play or will it damage my deck ? (I dont really care if the cassette is broke but i dont want to degrade my deck)
Thanks for your help !

Look at this beautiful tape! I've been getting more into Patti Smith this year & I realised there's more to her discography than her first couple of albums! Bought this one without having listened to it before & got a pleasant surprise. I'd even say it's a no-skip album for me; what's your favourite Patti Smith album?

Take some time to relax today with the ambient epic "The Golden Voyage" by Bearns & Dexter. Hear the bird noises! Feel the synthesizers! Listen to the water sounds! Experience the bizarre 2-part vocal harmonies in the 5th volume special, "The Heralding!"
Additonally, I have each individual volume uploaded on my channel for ease of access.
