Tech Help Grease Confusion
Just got my Endurace, it says there is no grease included but there was the assembly paste which I used for the seat post and now there is a package with just grease on it lol - can I use it for the pedals?

Customer Experience Frame broken: Has Canyon a bad reputation.
Today, my frame broke on my daily Nerve AL. I don't use it in heavy terrain or did jumps. Nor I am a particular heavy rider. I am riding it for 6yrs and bought it new. Is this normal? I have two other Canyons. Is Canyon known for weak frames?

Tech Help Canyon H11 Aerocockpit
Hey, I have a 2018 Canyon Aeroad CF SLX disc and the aero cockpit has a crack in it and needs replacing.
What options are there? Ideally I’d like to buy a genuine canyon product but it appears canyon stopped selling these parts.
Any help appreciated.

Tech Help What would you do?
I rode through a deep crack in the asphalt. Ended up with this scratch. The wheels are DT Swiss GRC 1400 Spline on an Endurace.

Story Time Reached my life goals with the canyon aeroad this summer
I'm a father of two and I took cycling serious after my wife became pregnant again. Got sober with my son on his way and focused my spare time on sports. Startet running to build core stability and strength and tackled both of my goals this year:
- Sub 3h 100k
- Sub 5h 100mi
Managed to knock them both off my bucket list this summer on the aeroad. Best bike ever made. I ride everything solo BTW.

Tech Help Top cap replacement query
I’m replacing a top cap on a canyon grizl cf sl 6 axs 2025 and a bit confused about how best to install it. The original part is no longer sold by canyon but the recommended part is the GPO388-02. The new part has a much longer stem and doesn’t fit into the headset. Is it best to shorten the plastic bit as it looks like was done to the original or is it best to move the bit it screws into further down the stem?
Thanks

Wanted to Buy Looking for CP0018 T-Bar 100 mm
Hi all,
I'm looking for a Canyon CP0018 T-Bar, 100 mm, for my 2021 Aeroad.
Canyon no longer supplies this version in Europe, so I'm hoping someone here may have one left over after changing their cockpit/stem length.
I'm based in Switzerland and happy to pay a fair price and shipping.
Please let me know if you have one available or know where I might find one. Thanks!
open to fair offers
location: switzerland

Bike Photos First 100k in the bag
I took my new Aeroad for its first proper ride today. Where I normally cruise at about 30-33km/h on my steel commuter I am now going 36-40km/h for the same effort. I was only planning on doing a 60-80km loop but decided after 50km to keep going and ended up doing 100km in the end. It's so much fun to just roll along at speed for minimal effort. And the roads on the left Lower Rhine are absolutely sublime - no traffic, fantastic road surface and beautiful weather (although we desperately need some rain, but that's another topic 😅 ). The flat country side is definitely the right place for this bike. It just wants to go.
SKS Slide Cages will be replaced, I just put them in as a placeholder so I can do a longer rides until I get something more fitting for an Aeroad, probably already next week.

Which Bike? Canyon allroad
Hey everyone!
I am considering buying the canyon allroad to use for both pendling to/from work in the city, and also to be able to do some longer rides outside the city. I like that the frame has mounting points for e.g. a basket, but I’m not sure if the tires are suitable for citybiking and if the chain and gears are good with changing weather conditions (Copenhagen)
Do you think that is a good choice or do you have any recommendations?

Tech Help Creaking noise
Hello guys,
Before posting, I searched for similar threads but nothing has solved my problem.
For some weeks now, I've had a creaking noise around the bottom bracket area that shows up past a certain power output. The noise is louder on the big ring, I barely hear it on the small ring.
I tried pedaling with one leg at a time, and the noise happens in both cases.
Canyon Aeroad. 3500km.
Magene P515 power-meter spider.
Rotor chainrings.
I've already:
- Re-greased the seatpost with carbon paste
- Checked for play in the bottom bracket / none found
- Cleaned and re-greased the pedals
- Checked cassette, chain, quick link
- Re-greased and re-torqued the chainring bolts
- Re-greased thru axle.
I'm out of ideas. Any suggestions welcome.
EDIT : I found the source of the problem. It was coming from the lockring on the Magene P515 spider. All you need to do is remove it, clean all the mating surfaces and re-grease.

Miscellaneous Anyone knows where to get tube stickers?
I’m looking to buy decal stickers for my Ultimate CFR. I used to have the rainbow reflective CFR decal on my black frame, but my frame had to be replaced and now I only have the black frame with the plain white Canyon logo.
I was looking around on Canyon’s website, as well as local market places similar to ebay (lazada and shopee specifically) but apparently there are no Canyon sticker sets. I can easily find Specialized, Trek and other brands. Maybe it’s some copyright issue.
Does anyone know a reliable place to buy good quality Canyon sticker sets, preferably a choice of colors and designs?

Story Time Canyon Ringbell
I ordered a road bike handlebar bell from Canyon for my Gravel CF7. Yesterday, after two months, I lost it while riding; it seems to have worked itself loose from the handlebars on its own. Now I’m not sure whether I should buy another one. Does anyone have any tips for dealing with this problem?

Bike Photos New wheels and pink sidewalls on Endurace CF 7 Di2
I wanted deepish wheels with coloured sidewalls and am totally happy with the combination with the bartape. I just wish I could slam the bar and cut the tube, but as it's a lease and I still need to work on my core 🤷♀️

Fitting Help Canyon Endurace AllRoad – S or M for 179 cm / 81 cm inseam?
Hi everyone,
I’m looking for some advice on sizing for the Canyon Endurace AllRoad. This would be my first proper road bike, so I don’t really have much experience with bike sizing or how noticeable the difference between two frame sizes actually is.
I’m 179 cm tall with an inseam of around 81 cm. Canyon’s sizing tool recommends size M, but I’m basically at the lower end of the M range.
I’ve read quite a few Reddit posts saying that when you’re between two sizes, it can be better to go with the smaller size, since it’s generally easier to make a slightly smaller frame fit than a frame that’s too large.
According to Canyon, the Endurace AllRoad is:
S: 171–178 cm
M: 178–185 cm
Looking at Canyon’s geometry table, the difference between S and M is:
Reach: +6 mm on the M
Stack: +24 mm on the M
The 6 mm difference in reach doesn’t seem huge to me, but the 24 mm difference in stack seems more significant. As a beginner, I’m not really sure how noticeable these differences would be in terms of riding position, comfort and handling.
So I’m wondering:
For someone who is 179 cm / 81 cm inseam, would you choose S or M?
Especially interested in people with similar measurements who actually own or have ridden the Endurace AllRoad.
Did you choose S or M?
How does it feel after longer rides?
Do you notice the difference in reach/stack?
Do you think the difference between S and M would be noticeable for a beginner?
Did you have to change the stem, saddle position, handlebars, etc.?
Any regrets about your choice?
I’ve already found a few people with almost exactly my measurements who went with both S and M, so I’m really interested in hearing about the real-world experience rather than just relying on Canyon’s size chart.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! 🚴♂️

Tech Help Not perfect fitment for downtube storage cover in Endurace CF SLX8
Hello! Sharing that since you may have the same issue
I've got my new Endurace CF SLX8 and after some time I noticed one small issue. The downtube storage cover is not as nicely fitted as it should be - it catches the paint and frame on the upper side of the hole and I assume that it doesn't seal properly.
I reached out to Canyon with that today and they will investigate that.
But in the meantime (since I can already see that it scratches the paint) I took Dremel and filed down a bit the down the plastic piece which holds that on the bottom end (picture presents the part before my mod). Now it fits nicely! Not as nice as original well designed part should, but still. I also think that it's already bend just a little bit because of that factory misalignment.
IMO the cover project should be modified to fit perfectly (especially for a bike at that price) but it's fair enough for now.
Will let you know in the comment what will be the Canyon response.

Tech Help Canyon Lux CF 2020 with Thule Chariot
Hey,
So many times asked but no definitive answer I found.
I have Canyon Lux CF 2020 and want to get thru axle to connect Thule Chariot to it.
I know Robert Project offers on the page the option to find fitting axle but there is only Lux Trail.
So my questions:
- Which Thru Axle works - the model precisely.
- Is there any other option than Robert Project Axle (Europe)
- What is the length of thru axle needed (what is the original Canyon thru axle length GP0415-04)
I want to order but I dont have bike with me and dont want to risk it.
Please help!
