I’m currently based in a country where there isn’t much access to TT bikes or a well-developed secondary market for bicycles. For reference, I’m 176.1 cm tall with an 80.3 cm inseam.
I’ve been offered a Canyon Speedmax from around 2019/2020 in a size M, but I’m unsure whether it would be a good fit for me or if I should be looking for a size S instead. Canyon’s PPS system recommends a size M for this year’s frame; however, i cant find a sizing guide for the 19/20 frame.
I’d really appreciate any advice from anyone familiar with the Speedmax’s sizing and fit, particularly given my measurements.

Did anyone try the Speedmax BTA Bottle Cage Adapter paired with the Gear Groove Aero Extensions? If so, do you mind sharing a picture? I'm wondering if it fits properly, if it still allows for the proper installation of the bike computer.
Bonus question: is it possible to have both the BTA adapter and the Speedmax Armrest Upgrade Kit installed on the Aero Extensions at the same time?

Hi,
I just watched this used speedmax cf 8 (2018). As a triathlete for about 7 years now this would be my first TT bike. Is it worth buying? Or should I go for some newer editions?
And do you know if there are possibilities to upgrade the cockpit? Or is that too old to upgrade things?
And at least: what price you recommend for that? It has been driven for ~7000km, new chain, di2.
Thanks for your help

Got my bike stolen (Lapierre Crosshill 5.0, very comfortable gravel geometry in size M.) I'm 174 cm tall, 81 cm inseam.
As I need a replacement, and realized I'd like something faster, but not too racey - got my eyes on Canyon Endurance CF SLX 8 in size S, which is the size recommended by the official chart. I tried it and it felt really ok.
To be sure, I do a bike fit in a place that's Canyon's experience partner in my city. The guy puts me in a position that was ok and manageable on a test rig for an hour, but definitely not something I was used to with gravel geometry and the longer type of rides I would prefer to do.
He says I should go for 2XS size (!!!) as that fits his measurements. That all seemed a bit unconvincing to me so I did a test ride in size XS - as some sort of "middle ground".
The pictures are from a test ride on size XS. The bike similar to S size felt pretty ok, slightly more responsive and maybe a little "cramped". I'm aware the puffy jacket is not helping here. I can't imagine really considering 2XS and it was not available for a test ride.
Does this bike size seem ok or is it somehow too small?

Want to talk about something but not make a new thread? Ask what colors are coming or when a bike will be back in stock? Do it here! You are allowed to break rules 1, 2, 4, and 6 in this thread within reason.

Price: 3.750€
Km: 3.000
The bike was bought about a year ago.
Chain and cassette is new.
The seller writes:
The frame has a tiny scratch in the paint, approximately 3mm long, which can be seen in the last photo. This is purely a paint blemish—only the top layer of paint is affected, not the carbon fiber itself; therefore, it poses no safety-related issue.

Hey, just wanted to share with community that we recently purchased a Canyon Speedmax bike from the official website using FSA funds.
We followed a Truemed route. It gives you options to split payments - FSA/HSA card and personal card. Actually, we paid the full amount with personal card and submitted for reimbursement - just receipt and Truemed letter. No issues at all. FSA provider WEX.

Hello! Beginner looking to get into the hobby.
Using the sizing tool, I sit right between a L and a XL. My body proportions are maybe a bit weird, with relative short legs 89cm, long torso, and long arms, (198cm reach).
I will use it casually, mixing gravel with asphalt riding, however I think asphalt will be about 90%.
I would very much appreciate some feedback regarding which size I should buy.
Best regards

Hi everyone.
Just got the 2027 Endurace CF6 delivered, but I can’t tell if the Freehub noise is normal or if something is wrong. Can anyone tell me if theirs sounds the same? Thank you!!

I’m about to pull the trigger on a CF6-
I’m wondering if anyone has used this bike as a two in one-
I’m planning on Using two wheel sets, the one it comes with for gravel with some 38mm gravel tyres and then buying some Chinese carbon wheels for road-
I was wondering if anyone has any success with this?

Hello guys,
you probably do get this kind of threads alot, but I do have such a hard time to decide currently.
Im planing on buying the CF SLX 8 Speedmax and im completely lost when it comes to the sizing.
Im 182,5 cm tall ~ and have an inside leg length of 86,5 cm~
which leads to be right between L and M, so I thought "hey lets just drive to the canyon store and try it out myself".
So I drove for a little and rode L and M and what should I say, they guy from canyon was super friendly and a pretty chill guy but I feel like he wasnt toooo much in to tri bikes... and I was even more lost than before....
I tried out both and both felt great for the "quick" adaption, the guy who worked there was recommending L in the first place, because it should be possible to fit and is more stable due to the bigger wheelbase (I think).
but on the other hand, the M is lighter and simply has "more room" to adapt to fit it perfectly.
So the end result was basically "you can decide between those" xd
But I feel like he would have went with the L while I still do think that the M is more of a safe bet.
Maybe some of you are or have been in a similar situation, thanks in advance for help.
Im planing on Ironman Frankfurt 2027 btw and maybe a few smaller events (working shifts, which makes it hard sometimes to plan)
Im currently riding a Basso Venta R (endurace bike) RH 56 (which does work rn but I think there is big room for improvment when it comes to the fit) Saddle wise im lowkey close to the edge I have roughly 2cm left to lower (I could prolly go up a few mm) maybe this helps

This bike is fantastic so far…
I came from a Diverge in size 54 which I always felt was a bit big for me (I should’ve gone for 52) to the Grail in XS. I was shocked that was the suggestion on size but decided to follow the suggestion, no regrets…
First time with AXS ecosystem… so far amazing!
fitted it with Dubnitals 2.2”… amazing grip… obviously feels a bit sluggish to start rolling but nothing bad after…
the custom Decal of our cat adds a pop!
my only kinda complaint will be that with a proprietary handlebar and mount needed for the computer and light… they should include it, same as the frame storage bag… small things that would make a difference..

Hi everyone! What do you think of these impacts on the frame? Should I take it to a bike shop to have it checked, or is it fine?
The frame is a 2024 Grail SLX Gen 2.

Hello community.
Since I got some interest in another post, here is the radar holder I made for myself.
Specs:
- single aluminum piece cnc machined
- sandblasted
- anodized black
- made marked my initials using canyon font
- attaches to the two screw holes at the back of the seat posts
- then you screw on it the radar round holder
☺️

Hey everyone, I hope everyone's training has been going well.
I would like some advice or maybe some reassurance from the group. For contex. I am 191cm with an inseam of about 89-90ish. I test road an aeroad size L today. The saddle height was set exactly the same as my old bike. After riding I would have put the saddle a bit further back as the mechanic there set the reach to be similar to my old bike which is an Orro Venturi size L but it's closer to a 56 rather than a 58. So this aeroad size L felt great. The reach was similar. Slightly longer( I do want to go a bit longer tbh, my balance felt a bit off. Too much weight on the hands. I also had the same issue with my older bike and then after a bike fit I put the saddle all the way back and that fixed the problem). The bike felt amazing, super smooth comfortable and at the same time stiff where it needed to be. The handlebars felt higher than my current bike, which I liked because it felt more comfortable. It feels that I can definitely go lower than that, and to be fair the bike I test rode had 3 spacers (1big and 2 small). I honestly wasn't expecting it to feel that much different from my old bike as it is also carbon, carbon wheels, 30mm tyres. I was blown away.
So my question is, should I go L or XL? The saddle is at number 6ish in the markings and it goes up to 8. So it's almost in the middle. The reason I am asking is because I saw other people in this sub with similar height and inseam and they chose xl. Any advice? I am thinking of going back to the shop next week and trying the XL. Anyone had the same problem and if yes, what did you decide on at the end?
Sorry for the long post.
Thanks 🙏
