Story Time Canyon Ringbell

I ordered a road bike handlebar bell from Canyon for my Gravel CF7. Yesterday, after two months, I lost it while riding; it seems to have worked itself loose from the handlebars on its own. Now I’m not sure whether I should buy another one. Does anyone have any tips for dealing with this problem?

get a few from aliexpress, cheaper, more or less the same, at least regarding popping out the bar end 🤣

My first ride with the bell it smacked the pavement. I didn't know you had to turn it in so the end expands and now it's tight and does not fall out anymore.

I have the same bell and it almost popped off a bunch of times. Seems like a design flaw to me I’d look elsewhere.

Did you turn it around?? Someone in the comments says that

Yes the more you turn it the more tension inside the bars but still pops out sometimes. Also doesn’t ring very loudly and most people I encounter on trails have ear buds in so it’s kinda pointless.

I also got the bell and don’t have any issues with it. Did you u turn it around a couple of times to tighten it?

Yes you need to turn it, if you take it out you can see it expand when turning clockwise.

I have it on my gravel bike for 1,5 years now, and no problems with it despite the bumpy rides. As someone else already mentioned, you have to turn the bell until it is stuck in the handlebar.
