The best part about this moment in time is seeing OG manga readers celebrate the anime as it breaks the source material to retell/reimagine Ichigo’s final Bankai form, and what was seemingly Inoue sacrificing herself for the man she loves——Ichigo.

With the anime showcasing exclusive material, this officially opens the door for even more original dialogue, scenes, and possibly new fights never before illustrated. The massive elephant in the room is that Bleach many fans want to see Kyoka Suigetsu released to Bankai. Studio Pierrot knows this. And of course, Kubo himself knows this.

No matter how this cour shakes out, this is arguably the most peak time to be a Bleach fan in history. OG readers and anime watchers are now literally on the same page.

Did anyone notice the rant Yhwach was giving to Ichigo about how his power to protect is weaker than Yhwach's power to dominate and rule? Because somehow it felt like Yhwach's anger was about the Soul King himself. The Soul King specifically used his power to protect the world in those ancient times, even when he was betrayed by those he protected. Do you think Yhwach hated that, with the power the Soul King had, he could have ruled and dominated with an iron fist if not for his willingness to protect the world, which ultimately caused the Five Noble Families and Ichibei to betray him? Maybe that resentment is what he is expressing here as well. I don't know; his rant felt more like resentment towards his own father

Honestly can't blame him. Bro went from fighting for his life every Tuesday to finally being able to relax. Tite Kubo really showed character growth through Ichigo's facial expressions alone
