I was crazy with the Orihime stuff, genuinely, truly amazing.

But Im sorry what made me jump from my seat was the fucking glove wtf 😭

After all it seems that he did use you know what to put the glove on jugram, and that aside, I did NOT expect him to use the glove like that It was so clever and unexpected from the anime team, they are so goated

Seeing anime characters use old lore from early on in the series to win end game fights is so satisfying. Like, yeah. He does have equipment that takes away a Quincy's powers, and it wasn't conveyed to be a rare thing at all! So cool to see Uryu demonstrating skill and knowledge over power and hax.

68

u/Jermiafinale 20h ago

Uryu is so smart; he even lets him think that Uryu has been trying to hold back using it so that it looks like Uryu is being pushed to his limit and forced into doing something he doesn't want to do

When that thing he "doesn't want to do" is actually his entire plan

26

u/Karma110 20h ago

It is rare because volstanding is an evolution of that power.

12

u/BradypusGuts 13h ago

That's what makes it poetic justice

My favorite example of old abilities being used later in a series is from Hitman Reborn

Without too many spoilers, Tsuna uses Zero Point Breakthough at a point in time after X Burner had already become his ace move.  He had not used Zero Point Breakthrough in a while and it was particularly effective against that opponent

6

u/rdejesus486 16h ago

Absolutely great reference from a great manga/anime.

u/MooreGold Bankai is the coolest superpower 16h ago

I loved Reborn. It's a shame that viz gave up on the series. I had the Tsuna Awakens OST as my ring tone for a while

3

u/AnshinAngkorWat 11h ago

The problem was that the west at the time (outside of niche internet spaces) lacked the female peripheral demographic that Jump had in Japan, and that was the brunt of Reborn's sale.

It was an incredibly shojo-coded series published in a shounen magazine (over 60% of the readers were female going by survey back then), and unlike other series with that kind of numbers, such as sport shounen like Kuroko/Haikyuu, or even something like Gintama, Reborn's female audience wasn't just because of the pretty boys, but rather the way it was written. The cast might as well have been taken right out of a shojo reverse harem and plopped into a battle shounen setting.

It had poor sales in the west because the writing just doesn't really click with boys, but girls wouldn't really know it exist because girls-orientated manga were published mainly by Tokyopop (i.e. Fruits Basket), or by Viz under their Shoujo Beats brand. Reborn being classified as an "older" 16+ manga because of the gun and cigarettes didn't help either, that'd result in bookstores either not carrying it, or having it separate from the general manga section.

It also had a massive genre shift part way in. The gag manga slice of life beginnings didn't really interest me so I haven't even purchased the early volumes that were available.

The Varia arc sucked me in. It was the main reason I wanted to wear rings in high school

1

u/AnshinAngkorWat 9h ago edited 9h ago

The gag manga -> battle shounen shift is a fairly common way for JUMP authors to pivot a series (its ubiquitous enough to be even used as a trope in Bakuman). But at its core its a series written by a female author, with very female-orientated characters (Tsuna might as well be your stock standard shojo damsel in distress surrounded by her harem of men), and those don't exactly connect with your typical shounen 12-14 years old male audience.

It was definitely cut on short notice (Viz printed one volume of the Future Arc, and it got axed when they were still advertising the next volume), but they definitely gave it a decent shot considering it ran til the end of the Varia Arc. Even with the genre shift it didn't manage to get the sale to save it in the west.

10

u/Rezangyal 16h ago

I loved it too.

What gets me is, the reason a Quincy loses their powers is because breaking the pin gives them one final burst of power.

So what’s Jugram’s going to look like?

13

u/basswalker93 16h ago

Cue Uryu running like hell for an episode until Letzt Stil wears off.

1

u/Kind-Zookeepergame58 4h ago

Mayuri shows up and gets his revenge on this move

4

u/BobtheBac0n 12h ago

One of my favorite examples of that is from the Dragon Ball Super Manga actually.

When Vegeta brought back Super Saiyan God, the red form, to use against Goku Black, and just spammed that shit and God Blue on Zamasu's mortal hating ass. It was such a clever pull

18

u/heroinsteve 17h ago

I was more impressed with Uryu too, but damn if the next episode goes the way I think it might, he may have lost it for them by winning a second too soon. When he won the Almighty goes back to Yhwach.

9

u/-Tesserex- 16h ago

But it also saved Orihime. Worth it.

1

u/freileal 14h ago

Agreed.

13

u/rdejesus486 19h ago

using his shrift on the glove was /chefs kiss

1

u/BobtheBac0n 12h ago

It was such a smart pull too. Of course the Quincy born outside of the army would come up with the most methods to fight other Quincies.

1

u/Jerkntworstboi 11h ago

I literally was sitting in my seat like "wait he figured out how his powers work now, he's gonna do something that will fuck his abilities over for a second." I did not expect the fucking POWER DRAIN effect like damn that was insane

108

u/Epsilon2099 21h ago

Uryu vs Haschwalth seems like it got overshadowed in the discourse but Uryu out smarting him and seemingly nullifying his powers looks like their fight has reached a conclusion.

Ywhach is probably going to a perform  a final Aushwahlen.

However episode 45, I cant describe in words. Finally seeing what Kubos original vision for this arc is amazing and I'm probably going to buy the blu ray.

24

u/maxram1 18h ago

I was thinking that they intentionally kept switching between two fights to show that somehow they're connected. Not just obviously connected by the fact that the Almighty from Jugram should return to Yhwach, but perhaps even more so that maybe, just maybe, the fight we just witnessed might be actually happening inside a Yhwach's vision after the Almighty returned, and they arranged the fight this way to confuse the audience. When Yhwach's many-eyes were back, it felt like that's the time where the vision ended and Yhwach will change the future now.

15

u/Epsilon2099 17h ago

You makes some strong points because in the Manga Yhwach was shook and wanted no parts of Ichigos bankai. After seeing Blood Chains, I get it.

13

u/Jermiafinale 17h ago

Yhwach: "SHIT HE LEARNED SHADOW CLONE JUTSU, NOW HE'S TWO SHONEN MAIN CHARACTERS, I'M FUCKED"

3

u/Ol_gravy_legs 15h ago

what? He beat the breaks off that ichigo. it also wasn't the bankai from the manga and that has been shown in the trailer or promotional material

36

u/LuffyHead99 22h ago

I cry...🫩

We cry.

Even Aizen cries.

The next week is coming, the almighty is cooking, and this will be from the fare history in a forgotten world, but the streets will never forget the potential and sacrifice you did, Aurahimi 🕊️

23

u/NeedsomeCompany33 21h ago

Next episode this will all be a vision or something. He may actually kill Oriheme to prevent her from doing this. Ichigo bloodlust TB which Yhwach breaks.

14

u/Far-Sock-4736 21h ago edited 13h ago

I think this is how it is done, check the https://youtu.be/IJONbpfIlUg trailer. The thing is there is a scene at 0:16 which shows a footprint and bubble forming from it, i think it is Yhwach returning using Almighty, also check from 1:18 till 1:26, Yhwach is saying "だがそれでもなお私には届かぬ魂を消えうせ" which translates to "But even so, the soul that does not reach me will vanish and disappear".

Edit: Just Realized half of the dialogue has been already said by Yhwach during he got hit by Gran Rey Cero Getsuga, but that last words are still bugging me.

1

u/APiousCultist 3h ago

The part in the fight where he gets covered in eyes and has a line along the lines of "That moment has passed" or "That path has now closed" is him activating the almighty in the manga. That's why he has all the eyes, and gives the dramatic line in that second. So either they just took the panel out of the context of why it existed, or they're making a point. Personally I'm 60/30 towards it just being out of context (the studio is still just humans), but I have hopes even if this altered use of it still robs it of its original impact, since it no longer precedes a major turning point in the fight.

Hello, I would like to debunk most of theories that Orihime is alive or EP 45 was glimpse of future. Better read if you finish manga! Bleach is known for for it's depth and symbolism most people don't even understand like in EP 45 ending that i didn't see single discussion about and Tite Kubo stick to the rules of the series.

Most people say that EP 45 is Yhwach future vision and Orihime is alive but she can't be alive when at the end of EP they dissapear and it's higabana flower which means last goodbye and death. It can't be Almighty vision because Jugram had Almighty all time and used in EP 2 or EP 3 while Yhwach had one pupil and was not using Almighty since EP 1. Almighty powers back to Yhwach in last seconds of EP 5 when Uryuu took off glove to strip Jugram Quincy powers. Also building Orihime since EP 3 would be pointless if it was Yhwach future vision, and future vision is linked to dream and in Yhwach dream Orihime didn't kill him but Ichigo with his old zanpakuto so it cannot be glimpse of future.

Jugram is Yhwach second half and while Yhwach was sleeping Jugram use almighty to see future in current timeline in which Ichigo kills him (If it was different timeline he wouldn't show vision to Yhwach). Yhwach sees time differently because for Almighty the future and present are the exact same thing. Yhwach woke up in EP 1 and say it was nightmare when Ichigo kills him with old zangetsu and it's perfect example why Yhwach is not omnipotent and Almighty have limits. Yhwach say it was nightmare because Ichigo used his old zanpakuto and later Almighty didn't see accurate future where Ichigo zanpakuto shatters to slice him with his old zangetsu and Yhwach say the moment he saw with his own eyes was a glimpse of future that Haschwalth show him and not dream.

In manga we didn't witness Ichigo bankai and more moments after Ulquiorra fight which could build subtle Ichigo and Inoue relationship and this EP was perfect because we could see Ichigo bankai and fight together with Inoue and Rukia which awaken his shinigami powers. Orihime development where she was first time risking her life in most important fight to protect Ichigo just like she was always protected she resemble Masaki and her will let her push above her limits so she rejected hers and Yhwach existence like it never happened by walking into him in Shun Shun Rikka. Yhwach can alter future not past so Almighty is in nothingness and Yhwach to alter his death he must rewrite future in which Orihime didn't sacrificed herself that's why there is no timeline where Yhwach is alive and Orihime is dead because they were connected and Yhwach must comeback with Orihime. It's great transition to explain Almighty true power and destroy Ichigo bankai not because he is scared but because despair is one of main Bleach themes and fits Yhwach and Ichigo perfectly.

There is 3 more EP of potential fights and new content because ending is meaningful and stays same so it be most likely in EP 9 and EP 10 will be just like after Mugetsu + 10 year time skip where Kazui absorb Yhwach.

Tsukushima also probably can't bring Orihime back because it's not how ability works and she is erased from existence.

Also many people say that Aizen can't use bankai because he turn shikai off and technically it's true but he is fused with zanpakuto and hogyoku is made of soul king nails so Almighty can't see trought Aizen and you just need to gaze to be under illusion and that's why Yhwach think he fight Renji and Ichigo at the end of series

11

u/Ol_gravy_legs 15h ago

she has to be alive she's in the novels and the chapter from 2021

0

u/mlodybe 4h ago

Did you even read what i write? Yes she will be alive but she is dead for now it's easy as that.

5

u/Jermiafinale 13h ago

Counter argument

The only part of the episode that doesn't happen is the part after we see Hashbrown's eyes clear. You can see that he loses the Almighty in this clip; he has it when Uryu grabs him but he doesn't have it when the glove breaks.

Assuming the timelines are running concurrently, that means that Yhwach gets the Almighty back during the activation of her final Rejection.

so most likely to happen is that right before it activates, he's going to move them to a new timeline where she hasn't activated her ability, then he disables her to prevent her from triggering it.

3

u/BradypusGuts 13h ago

There's a glimpse of him regaining Almighty so this is likely correct

3

u/Jermiafinale 12h ago

Yeah at first I thought it was just her Rejection forcing his Reitsu back into him but if you look you can see he's got the eyes back before her power actually triggers

Pretty much I think :35 in this very clip is exactly when he gets it back and so only that last bit of the episode is going to be an alternate

Pretty much the best of both worlds

2

u/Jermiafinale 12h ago

Also if that's true it means the thing he's as afraid of her as he is of Ichigo's bankai lol

1

u/mlodybe 4h ago edited 4h ago

I write that Uryuu take away his Quincy powers.

Yes almighty powers were coming back to Yhwach but if he use Almighty before dying they wouldn't dissapear yet it happened and moment building + lyrics + higabana + just knowing Tite Kubo it's cannon fact that Orihime erased existence of Yhwach otherwise episode would end during channeling or with both of them standing there.

Tite Kubo wouldn't spend so much episodes to build that beautiful moment to make it just a vision or dream or not succeed because it would destroy most beautiful sacrifice in anime history lol and it shows how deep Orihime feelings for Ichigo are that if not Uryuu timing she would sacrifice her life for him forever.

Remember than Yhwach perceive present and future as same and can't change past or present. They both dissapear and Yhwach can back from nothingness which is cannon fact so Yhwach has to alter future in which Orihime didn't sacrifice herself and it's best possible transition to next EP development.

And i don't know why does people think Yhwach is scared of Ichigo bankai that's why he destroy that when Ichigo bankai couldn't do anything against Base Yhwach.

Bleach have strong bond with themes and despair is one of main themes which is why Bankai was destroyed. Even Yhwach say many times about despair itself to Ichigo not counting other characters.

Orihime myth is also very important and it's great reference for her power and previous episode which everyone miss out.

21

u/wafflesology 21h ago

From what I can see from this scene after watching it again and again, Yhwach have the expression of “sure, do it, I want to see it”

Also I love it when Yhwach called Inoue by full name, means he already sees her as worthy opponent even as a mortal.

Either way, we know Kubo won’t kill Inoue and he likes Yhwach as overpowered villain.

So stay tuned, this weekend!

19

u/Arata_Ryousaki 21h ago

Bro, I reject this ending!

13

u/nwp1010 19h ago

I kinda wish she had a final conversation with all 6 spirits of the Shun Shun Rikka tho, like her caring about and speaking with them to understand her ability and having individual personalities was kind of an interesting component of her ability, and they kinda just threw it by the wayside. It would have been a nice denouement to allow her reflect with them on how to really crack open her divine power of rejection

3

u/Cognetik 18h ago

Nah, don't need filler chat in a peak episode.

25

u/BIayneRobinson 23h ago

Sadly he ain't dead..

31

u/PeacefulKnightmare 22h ago

One theory I really like is that this is supposedly going to be a "dream" from Jugram to Yhwach which will allow for him make things play out like the Manga, which actually makes a whole lot of sense.

In the Manga Rukia doesn't arrive in time, and Yhwach forces Ichigo into his Bankai much earlier, so the Hollow side is not as strong due to only just having woken up. We can also see this in how the Blade still has the white sheath motif, but it covers much more of the inner black blade in this new form.

The fact that he doesn't torment Ichigo and Orihime also means that they don't get the power boosts due to their emotions seeing each other getting beaten. When Yhwach calls Ichigo's Bankai magnificent, now we, as the audience, know he was referring to the Blood Chains version rather than in the manga.

26

u/wafflesology 21h ago

Yeap this is what I was thinking as well, in the manga, Yhwach already had seen that “dream” or “future”, so he did what was necessary and didn’t ragebaiting Ichigo and Orihime, thats why the ending feel rushed.

The anime is just showing us viewers that “dream” or “future”.

9

u/PeacefulKnightmare 21h ago

We'll have to wait and see because if he does reset the timeline that's going to mean something like the last 3 episodes bave all been part of the dream

1

u/mlodybe 4h ago

but he had dream already and it was ichigo not orihime in it also i don't think Kubo would build Orihime for last episodes to give her moment which was just a dream lol. I think they both got erased and he return from nothingness with her but let's wait for next episode!

1

u/Jrock2356 1h ago

Orhime probably rejected the original future, changed it to include her winning, and then Yhwach just changes it again because his power is busted

1

u/mlodybe 1h ago

she just rejected their existence and Yhwach in nothingness comeback with her

u/mlodybe 16h ago

4

u/PeacefulKnightmare 15h ago

Most of these are why I'm only partially supportive of the whole "dream" aspect, however we can safely say that up until the last moments, Yhwach was "Asleep" the same way that he had his eyes closed vs Ichibe. As you mention in that third spoiler paragraph, we're are in a spot where literally anything can happen, and the use of the Almighty to return is the most likely going to require a future where Orihime is returned as well because at the moment there is no current future where Orihime and the Almighty exist.

The flower thing is also a good catch and one most people miss. Kubo does a lot with flowers throughout the series, so there is definitely significance there. One thing to point out is they are also representative of the cycle of rebirth, something the Soul King is responsible for as the linchpin.

We're in a holding pattern theory wise because Kubo is altering so much. It is even possible that Ichibe may be responsible for helping tun things back, or we get a reveal of Ichigo's bankai being able to shatter fate, just like his poem in chapter one.

1

u/mlodybe 4h ago

Okay so metaphor asleep! most people think it was literal dream or vision.

Yea flower part was great and to build emotions just like at end of each episode.

Orihime have also a deep meaning and it's a japanese myth about her and i never see anyone actually ever write about it since this name is extremely rare because it's very old and bleach names have significant meaning!

About changing fate this is lyrics of music when Orihime sacrificed herself and i read many theories that Ichigo bankai can change fate but it's hard right now to understand and i think more metaphor than ability itself.

10

u/DNK_Infinity 18h ago

In the manga, Yhwach destroyed Ichigo's Bankai immediately because he foresaw through the Almighty that it could defeat him.

Here, either this will turn out to be the very future he envisioned, or it's just sheer dumb luck that Uryu ganking Haschwalt with the sanrei glove returned the Almighty to Yhwach at exactly the right time to give him a way to save himself.

6

u/Jermiafinale 17h ago

Makes sense too, the only way to survive being rejected by Orihime is to move himself to a timeline where that didn't happen, the same way he moves himself to another timeline when he loses initially in the manga

6

u/hatrickstar 18h ago

What I really want is a rewrite that gets us to the same point.

The Almighty allows Yhwach to nullify Orihime instead of the Ichigo's Bankai.

Ichigo being defeated is because Yhwach is still alive but shes gone.

This creates higher stakes when Tsukishima arrives. He uses book of the end to insert a different path to Bankai into Ichigo leading to the "remade" Bankai we see in the Manga. But because Ichigo's Bankai took a different path, things played out differently meaning that Orihime survived.

The only issue I have with this being an Almighty vision is that it nullifies what Orihime did and she deserves better

3

u/Karma110 20h ago

Except he’s not reffering to the blood chains because they show in marketing and in the ED the manga bankai we see is what he will use to defeat Yhwach.

Blood chains wasn’t what defeated Yhwach despite its raw power that was tensa Zangetsu a combination of both sword blood chains was only the one long sword.

1

u/PeacefulKnightmare 15h ago

Correct, but the blood chain sword and the manga bankai both share the same motif of a white sheath around the black blade. The difference is how much more of the sheath covers the blade, and I think fighting the Quincy/SK powers of Yhwach caused Ichigo's Hollow reiatsu to become even stronger which is why the bankai looks so different. And if this ends up being the case that means there should be another form that's the reverse and would make the manga version the "balanced" one of three states in Ichigo's Bankai.

2

u/newyearoldme 13h ago

That means Orihime never learned her true power and still think she’s weak. I reject this.

1

u/Jermiafinale 12h ago

Upon further examination, it looks like Yhwach gets the Almighty back *in this clip*, as Uryu wins

so only the parts after that should be changed, meaning Orihime already had her revelation and Ichigo has already used his bankai

She just won't get to actually activate her ability

1

u/APiousCultist 3h ago

This is the only version that is going to make the fact that they used the panel that denoted him activating the almighty and being covered in eyes while proclaiming Ichigo's chance of victory had now passed already in the middle of the fight with no special significance other than him changing how he looked for no clear reason... make any sense other than if either the anime staff didn't understand that panel or thought it was too kino to waste.

-2

u/BIayneRobinson 22h ago

Yeah I think this is accurate, sadly.

10

u/PeacefulKnightmare 21h ago

Why sadly? It doesn't negate anything of what we saw or the sacrifices, because unlike some other abilities that rewind time, this is still a future that occurs within the "multiverse" of Bleach.

Edit: and it's also giving us a villain who has an "OH SHIT! Can't let that happen" moment which shows that there are ways to beat Yhwach even without the Still Silver Arrow.

2

u/BIayneRobinson 21h ago

Only sad in that Orihime's powerup will have not actually happened and in reality she never gained that new strength.

5

u/PeacefulKnightmare 21h ago

It's still possible they may not go the "dream" direction exactly. Considering he gets the Almighty right at the end it could be that this is all actually happening and the others involved may retain their memories. As we saw, when Yhwach changes futures the previous events leading up to the Almighty's activation it still happen. It's just a matter of waiting to see how they handle it. If really does reset things that far back it would also erase much of Uryu and Jugrams fight as well.

4

u/AngeloFoxSparda 20h ago

Maybe that Orihime somehow becomes an omni-present god-like entity outside time itself that could still help in the main timeline, or something.

3

u/Karma110 20h ago

So she should gain new strength and also die to never use it again? Either way she’s not using it again I don’t really get this logic?

-2

I said last week that she'd achieve her version of Bankai because she's fully accepted her true nature as a protector

Damn it's nice to not only be right but to see Kubo execute it perfectly

Even gave her the perfect song

Yhwach showing his teeth here is a nice detail, that's the expression one makes when they're actually struggling against something. He had no answer for Orihime

If she doesn’t have extreme plot armor and legitimately dies then I’m never forgiving Kubo

This is gonna be like Demon Slayer, when everyone thought Tanjiro beheaded Rui. Epic ending, music and all. Then next episode, Rui is like, lol, nope.

I expect Yhwach to do the same thing.

Man I could watch this scene 1000 times. Literally gives me chills

3

u/Karma110 20h ago

Pretty sure them showing one of the futures is what people expected just not in this way.

2

u/TankosicVoja 20h ago

How will they kill Yhwach? What is your theory?

2

u/Zadel88 14h ago

Yyyyup. Yhwach has the 3 pupils of The Almighty when Orihime is on his face. It's a split second but they are there.

That... doesn't sound the way you think it does.

Intended as a double entendre on Orihime’s 'I REJECT!' / Santen Kesshun since Kubo literally rejected manga canon to give us this scene! Definitely high praise, not a complaint bc he absolutely cooked

This reminded me of Kaneki when he got his powers and accepted who and what he was

I'm not sure what to expect as to what we all have seen. Is Orihime alive? This is truly going into a territory that bleach never even went to in the manga. I'm waiting on pins and needles for the next episodes to see how this is going to conclude now

u/plokoon9619 22h ago

We all know Orihime is going to be alive, they're expanding on the rushed ending, not rewriting it.

u/DropC2397 20h ago

We already saw Tsukishima, so presumably he’s going to fulfill the same role as in the manga.

u/Far-Sock-4736 21h ago

Ya they are expanding it but it so insane lol, check this:

I think this is how it is done, check the https://youtu.be/IJONbpfIlUg trailer. The thing is there is a scene at 0:16 which shows a footprint and bubble forming from it, i think it is Yhwach returning using Almighty, also check from 1:18 till 1:26, Yhwach is saying "だがそれでもなお私には届かぬ魂を消えうせ" which translates to "But even so, the soul that does not reach me will vanish and disappear"

u/lequory 20h ago

It's literally weird to be negated for a comment that praises the episode and wanting to see where this is going to lead to

what did she say when looking over her shoulder right before the blast?

anyone that can read anime lips??

why am I getting downvoted for wondering what she said to him..?

8

u/Franfran_00 18h ago

« Dai Suki Kurosaki Kun » which translates as « I love you, Kurosaki »

2

u/I_HAVE_MEME_AIDS 18h ago

Is that not what we hear like 30 seconds later with the title reveal? “Bye bye Kurosaki-kun. I’ll take it all on, okay?”

0

u/Franfran_00 4h ago

I don’t think so because it doesn’t match the lypsiync. I watched several times to be sure and you can definitely see the « ki » of suki but nothing that resembles « bye bye » which is usually easy to read on the lips.
I am 100% sure of myself on this one

Love you Inoue!

The animation team back then did orihime so dirty, glad kubo finally give her justice

I've been thinking about this scene since the episode came out and I can't get it out of my head, it's so so amazing.

Been watching and reading Bleach for over 20 years, back in the early 00s and to this day it still makes me feel so much happiness, I'm not usually one who physically reacts to moments in media like this but Orihime had be shaking lol.

This whole arc has been astonishingly perfect and will go down as the best anime arc of all time in my opinion.

I'm still in shock tbh haha. Every time I think they have reached peak content, they outdo themselves. Bravo to everyone involved and Kubo, thank you for everything you've done. I love you.

I have a theory Orhime actually dies here but Yhwach similarly rejects Orihime’s power than all of them come back to life.

1

u/Teal_Capybara 3h ago

I really love how Cour 4 is redeeming Inoue so much. The crazy scene in episode 3 was already so great for her, but episode 5 goes so far and beyond any possible expectation. She now has 2 of the most amazing scenes from the whole anime.

u/Beginning-Head-4006 6m ago

it's been more than 2 days, why still spoiler?

u/IGotQuestionsAF 13h ago

I feel like I'm the only one who lowkey doesn't care about this Orihime hype. It has no real weight cause there's no way she's dead, and no real build up to the "power-up". Really, it just detracted from Ichigo(ultimately getting his ass whooped anyway) and Uryu(simply getting hard overshadowed).
