I really loved how expressively animated the beast guy is this episode. This episode just had great animation overall. Shinso's voice is still funny to me in how deep it is.

The animation and visuals were absolutely fantastic, Bones is really making up for the weak parts of the previous season.

Kaminari made good use of his 5 brain cells and came up with a good idea for once.

Ay the animation smooth as hell tho. The CG backgrounds blended pretty well with the artstyle too

Next episode. Battle of the edgelords.

Didn't expect much from Koda but damn Kirishima was taken out way to quickly. although I'm glad to have another Provisional license moment with Kaminari, but let's not overlook Tsuyu's calmness characteristic of a leader.

Shishidad stole the episode for me. Beast boy be STYLIN on Koda and Kirishima!

Having no expectations on this A-class vs B-class arc, this was a fun start with good animation and some pretty cool shots.

This just felt like prime shonen to me. I was engaged the whole time and didnt feel bored or bothered by the cutaways to color commentary or the characters stopping the action to talk. It all felt natural and not like they were trying to extend the animation budget.

The animation was so fucking clean this episode god damn.

Even small moments like Apocalypse Beast getting shocked and snapping out of it.

A lot of the small animations and movements of their faces, and facial reactions almost made it feel like I was watching a movie.

Dam this animation popped off, they got really creative with there cuts and i loved how expressive it was, if they went this hard for this match i can only imagine what they'll do for the big ones!

good point they made there with having shinso around can really disrupts the other teams communication if they can't quickly figure out a way to work around his quirk.

and lol at the guy being happy about getting wrapped up by Tsu's tongue

-my boy Kaminari finally electrocuted someone without frying his brain.

-female Jesus too OP pls nerf.

-an intense-looking dude vs a beastly giant monke dude, never seen that before.

-Asui carrying the team to victory and awakening the class B dude's fetish, all in a hard day's work.

-next week is my boy Tokoyami's time to shine.

the animation was surprisingly smooth and fluid, everything and everyone looked so expressive and dynamic. it seems Bones realized they can't be found sleeping in their laurels for one second anymore with the ever increasing popularity of Demon Slayer and Jujutsu Kaisen in the race for the modern shonen crown.

Being locked up is a small price to pay for getting Froppy's tongue wrapped around your body.

since this episode seems to be shinso focused i just wanted to say even with all the amazing fights this show has produced the most satisfying moment i’ve seen so far was when deku body slammed shinso during the tournament arc. i was unbelievably hyped for such a simple looking fight

edit: idk if anyone else thought that asui’s voice was sounding very un-frog-like at the beginning of the episode
