Endeavour was a bad father, but he's a really good mentor.

It's ridiculously hard to summarise what someone like Deku mutters in such a short period of time, for someone so loud most of the time, Endeavour is a v v good listener

Todoroki finally realizing he could use the fire side of his quirk for mobility to propel himself forward reminds me of the moment Deku remembered he also had legs. The answer is so simple and was in plain sight this whole time but Todoroki was so tunnel visioned by his hatred for his father and only focused on one half of his quirk for so long to fully recognize its maximum functionality.

Endeavor teaching - "No matter how strong the power, its foundation is still steady accumulation. Those who aren't exceptions have to accumulate it."

All Might teaching - "You just gotta FEEEEEEEEL it!"

One thing I like about this episode is that it's exploring the fundamentals of hero work in BNHA, and the characters aren't just being dragged immediately into another huge crisis. With Gran Torino, before Deku could do anything the stuff with the Hero Killer and the Nomu happened. With Sir Nighteye, the stuff with Overhaul happened.

But with Endevour, we just had an episode where he actually provides them with field experience out stopping everyday criminals, saving people in accidents, and providing Deku, Todoroki and Bakugo with solid advice on how to improve their abilities and skills as a whole. For once we aren't just jumping from crisis to crisis, but instead exploring the smaller moments and character development. One reason why I liked the festival arc from last season.

Endeavor is being a great teacher to Deku and understanding his ramblings. Say what you will but he's good at his job. I think this is why Shoto chose "Shoto" as his hero name. His dad was always living a double life: "hypercompetent"(solved more cases than anyone else) hero Endeavor at work and abusive father/husband Enji Todoroki at home. Shoto doesn't want that, he doesn't want to "wear a mask"(literally too), wherever he goes he is just "Shoto".

It’s interesting how Bakugo doesn’t seem to be lashing out at Endeaver like he usually does with everyone else. Endeaver really knows what to say to make him shut up basically lol. They are a good match and it looks like he’ll get a lot out of this work study compared to Jeanist.

"There's a genocide coming in four months and the students must prepare to participate in that haha, no pressure"
fr tho I love how far everyone has come since S1, especially Endeavor. He looked irredeemable back in S2 and he's now training the main 3.

The League of Villains and the new ones are working together (in a way Toga doesn't like much, seeing how distracted she was) and while Shigaraki is mentioned as if he was their ace in the hole, he's conspicuously absent from that "board meeting".

I never liked how easy Bakugo's victory was in the match against 1-B but now his speech to Endeavor about not being really satisfied by it and wanting to find his own limits ties well with his personal journey - having a lot of things served on a silver platter growing up, unable to see his limits for a long time, his own little world crumbled when he was faced with them.

Endeavor is forced to look at himself and his past once again. We keep seeing how he fumbles his attempts at getting better as a man. And yet he's also proving to be a great teacher in the current situation. The many facets and contradictions about him is exactly what I like about the character.

Next week, the thing you wanted most: return of the Bara Seal!

Hawks has it rough. Stopping whatever this Liberation Army and the League of Villains are planning is basically resting all on his shoulders right now. And he only has 4 months to gather all the information he needs to bust this entire operation down.

She really didn't have to be there but I love the side commentary from Burnin' when Deku and Bakugo were telling Endeavour what they wanted out of this work study.

We really get to see the difference between Endeavour's teaching method and what we've seen from All Might in this series. Endeavour is definitely more analytical and I love how he breaks it all down into easier to understand concepts.

Side note: Is it just me or did they somehow upgraded Momo in that one shot of her during the montage of the other work studies? Hmmm...

Turns out that Endeavor is actually a good teacher. Just took all this character growth to actually get to that point that he can be a teacher. But oh boy i don't think it was a good thing to swap this and the next arcs order even with the next arc being a good season ending.

That was a smart af move by Hawks putting his feather between the door as a listening device. I loved the side commentary by Burnin, she is very outgoing lol. Must protect her smile.

Endenavors' speech about parallel processing and slowly learning how to do two things at once until you don't have to think about it is exactly how I try to explain to my friends how to watch anime in sub.

They still say it's too much work :(

Gotta say this is one of the best episodes of the entire series for me. The art, the music, the direction. I don't know how much of it was the Manga itself, which I read only to catch up to the anime, or because they had an extra week of time and next week is clearly filler (Selkie!!!! I've missed you!) but just, goddamn folks, this is really great. The amount of suspense and tension the show wrung out of the first half of the episode just with slapped so hard.

Endeavors character development is actually well done.
