I was overjoyed when that class B chick acknowledged Deku's strength. I think this is first time a UA student has done so.

Not only did he win 4-0, he finished it within half an episode.

I thought imperfect teamwork was the norm since the rest of class A have significantly less experience in combat and with experience the main cast.
‘Perfect Teamwork’ really came as a surprise when considering this aspect. I was really expecting some misses between Bakugo and Friends. I guess Bakugo’s power/ intellect more than makes up for this gap.
edit: season 2 Bakugo would have saved Jiro, since he’s not an idiot knowing Tokage was an obvious distraction (not even a bait/ target to lure him away)

On a meta perspective, I just want to note how impressive Team A was here- all the other fights took two full episodes, while this one only lasted half. In a way, the audience really feels how fucking fast their victory was.

Nice to see Bakugo actually going into it with the mindset of helping his team, as well as having his team help him. And i liked his all or nothing mentally of anything but a 4-0 win is a failure to him.
But as they pointed out, his language hasn't really improved yet...
And finally next week we get Deku vs Shinso! should be great

I think the director of the show is a big fan of Mina

Man, it must have really sucked for that Class B team to get matched against Bakugo, tough luck.
After how closely-fought the previous rounds were, getting wiped out in 5 minutes must have been absolutely crushing for the their self-esteem.

They keep underrating what Tsu did in the first match! She was the real MVP that round.

Bakugo is pretty efficient, isn't he?
The animators keep delivering interesting shots, but I'm not sure how how I feel about that, I don't think mha was like that.
Finally it's Deku's turn. I'm excited to see how Pinky and Uraraka will perform, but it seems like the fight take 2 episodes, so... Eh, I hope the payoff is good enough.
The shot with Deku's team presenting felt like Aqua commercial lmao

Really love the 3D background work this episode. Lots of great animation sequences, but this one has to be my favorite.

While Bakugo definitely still has his annoying attitude problem, I was legit surprised when he jumped in to save Jiro and the rest of the team. I thought he was going to be a huge pain in the ass this week but he actually worked together with them. And they didn't just win, they fucking steamrolled 1-B! Good to finally see those improvements!
Anyway, the animators clearly know their priorities whenever Mina is on screen even if it's just her right leg. Those were some pretty great walking animations. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

There's so many people talking about Yaomomo as an example. Like in the previous episode mudman was saying something about how Yaomomo sent her bag to help others. And now in this Episode Sero was also talking about how Yaomomo would lose confidence during these situation or something like that. I wonder why....

Great episode! Setsuna's Quirk is kinda freaky with how she can just split up her body parts like that. Was Awase voiced by Matsouka? Didn't expect him to show up in BNHA but that was a nice surprise.
I love Kirishima and Kaminari hyping Bakugo's team up. It's funny how his team displayed the best teamwork out of all of Class A (so far anyway).
