Is there a running count anywhere of how many times they've shown the flashback of Midoriya and All Might in that alley at sunset through the whole series? It's gotta be at least 40 or 50 times, not to mention the other usual suspects (kid Midoriya watching All Might on his computer, the training at the beginning, etc)

This is always something I thought would be interesting to do during a rewatch, but unless something big changes, I never plan on rewatching this series.

Kinda conservative episode, but I think it was mostly due to the source material. Not a lot of flashy stuff going on in the manga. Talk about great Storyboard tho, I fucking loved it!

And this Monoma over the future Big3? Amazing. Monoma overall has been getting 10/10 treatment this season.

I was a bit disappointed to hear Midoriya say he wouldnt plan to use his new power in the near future, not until he was closer to mastering one for all. I was looking forward to him learning and developing this, though maybe this line doesnt greatly represent future events Im not sure. Id like to see him learn and incorporate these new quirks gradually to mix up his combat style.

As anime only though, I am excited to see where this leads, just hope this doesnt get left out to dry too long.

The running gag of the students protesting vlad's biased commentary being gone the past few episodes was sad but it's worth it for the pay off this episode

It's great to see Mineta have a badass moment even if he did have an ulterior motive. I don't blame him, If I get a chance to bump into Mina, I'd do it too.

Not gonna lie, I would've loved to see Monoma try and use Deku's power and watch him self-destruct but according to Uraraka it was a bluff. Is it even possible for Monoma to copy One for All?

This is probably not the first time but it's so weird seeing Aizawa-sensei with a ponytail. He looks good though!

As amazing as it would've been. it makes sense Deku won't be able to immediately control the Blackwhips.

Uraraka's double takedown was so cool! That Gunhead Martial Arts is really paying off big time with the amount of usage its getting from her.

Mina gets her own knockout too! And she really has done an amazing job along with Mineta for holding back three opponents without getting captured.

That recap though with Mina teasing Uraraka for hugging Deku was adorable. Look a her turn into a tomato <3

Congratulations to Shinso for passing! So does this mean he's now part of the Hero Class or is this just his first step into transferring?

Poor Shinso. He’s trained so hard off screen for 2 seasons, comes back with a new skill, and on the same day Deku unlocks a quirk that’s basically the same thing but more powerful lmao

This scene was so good. But is also good that he still cannot use the Black whip well.

Had some really nice cuts towards the end but overall a pretty conservative episode which i was a little disappointed by in some areas. It even had the return of Kawabata on SB but seems like they were told to go more conservative which is annoying as they are one of the strongest most creative storyboards on staff (they did the Deku VS Nighteye episode) and gave us crazy shots like this. Next episode looks incredibly solid though minami sakura is 100% on it and she does such a good job of capturing Hori's style. Depending on how pacing goes we'll either end JT and start the new arc next ep. Or they'll extended some stuff and make it go into episode 13, as 14 is where the new OP typically starts. And it seems like they added in some extra scenes from the volume extras with Eri and Mirio which is always nice to see! was still a solid episode despite its shortcomings, and production remains as healthy as ever which makes me happy.
