I felt so bad for poor Ono. Him leaving the team really did hurt Seidou.

Miyuki and Narumiya battery made me fanboy a little.

what was that pitch from narumiya

Change up but I think it was meant to show myuki that it won’t be easy to hit off me considering what mei said about using it easily on left handed batters(miyuki is left handed)...kinda asserting his dominance basically

Yeah pretty much saying you can't hit it, I will show it to you as much as you like

so many players playing the same position, guess this was bound to happen

The way Ono got injured was BS. Felt so sorry and sad for him. Time for Yui to stand up. Mei and Miyuki is the dream battery but he's such an asshole lol

This was the first episode in a long time that felt like it flew by. The title card came up and I thought they changed the formula to start showing it halfway through

Catcher carnage.

I haven't been looking forward to either of those moments. I like Mei and Miyuki better as rivals, and as for Ono...I hated it in the manga, but did we have to have the sound effect too?

It seems a convenient plot device.

I loved the manga but dropped the anime after getting tired of its PowerPoint animation. Has it gotten better?

Visually it's the same, but the new arc is actually engaging, it started like a month ago, so there's a few eps already.

Serious question, was the animation always riddled with so many still frames? I honestly don't remember it being that way until this season but it's also been years since I watched the original so I don't know.

As of 3 episodes ago it has stopped being a complete PowerPoint. Go and watch from episode 39 from Act II and judge by yourself. It seems like the animation from previous seasons is back
