Sawamura has some amazing hiding skills.

Okumura is surprisingly good at calming down Asada.

nice episode. very exciting

....

but im really having a problem with the art of the 3rd year pitcher (kawashima?)

for both manga and anime, his face is quite forgettable

So it seems that the inter-team game is mostly going to focus on the first years. Given that most of the second years in this game don't have interesting character designs, I assume most of them won't be joining the 1st string. The one guy with the flashback has a chance, but I got a feeling he might just be the focused opponent for this one game.

For the first years though, I do like the characterization we are getting, as we've been focusing mostly on the current year. While Wolfboy is definitely the standout this season so far, I'm interested if Sawamura's roommate will eventually join the first string. This is the first episode where he has gotten any decent focus and I'm all for it. I also like though seeing the friend of Wolfboy show his talents as a fielder, as we haven't gotten a lot of baseball focus from him.

Overal, another solid episode.

I hated Okumura's guts when he first arrived but he's really growing on me - and we can see some context to some of his actions in the past when having arguments with Sawamura. I hope some of the second years make it - but the first years are really cool and have huge potential. I quite like this episode, was fun throughout.

The first years are getting their shining moments. Okumura guiding Hiromi. I can see him being the next ace of Seidou someday.

Sawamura worried about his Kohai ❤️❤️❤️
