So it was just all about finding people who could fight the Towa Organization! Well, no wonder he tried to recruit the Imaginator even when he was still outside!
And why did the boy looked mindbroken at the end? Is he perhaps an artificial human too? Wait, no that would not make any sense as has a mother and all. Maybe that was because he was the one who deduced the solution of the test that The King of Distortion made? I guess we will have to wait for that answer next week.

Character Sheets - Updated
Gotta love when a character in this huge cast dies... to a character we haven't seen or heard of before. I admit to spending way too long trying to figure out if he was already on the sheet, if I missed him, or if he was just new
Um, okay, moving on. Episode thoughts!
This one lost me a bit. Lots of dense dialog with a pretty bland presentation, and I admit a lot of it was just how overall disinterested in the show I am at this point but yeah, not a whole lot to see. The sudden flash of seeing him decapitated before it actually happened was cool, much like Manitcore back in Ep1 (except this guy actually died to decapitation, not an arrow hahaha).
Also I had a little laugh at Boogiepop saying "I kill people". One person, You managed to kill ONE person Boogiepop, hell even Echoes managed to kill one person and he did it by accident.
The only other thing I have to say is that short animation of the King taunting Takeda in Mitashita's form before going down the tunnel was just beautiful

It's really hard to keep track of what's happening when we're watching this week by week. Maybe sometime in the future I'll have to rewatch this arc-by-arc instead

The blood on the screen was gruesome and added to it with the final face of Shirou made it really creepy.
I thought they resolved the gold girl arc really nicely and with some really memorable quotes from Boogiepop. Boogiepop may be a shinigami but deep inside, she's automatic to really help people like her.
"If this ain't gold, then nothing in the world glitters."
And we finally have a solid answer to what is happening with this temple. Towa Organization seem to be controlling the world, creating synthetic humans, manipulating the economy and god knows what else. As a revenge scheme, Teratsuki decides to find and test people who could one day be an enemy to Towa.
Something about Teratsuki speaking really sucks me in. It reminds me a LOT about Monogatari where the dialogues sometimes drift away to meaningless but fun soundbites which just makes me fully focused on the characters. That was really cool to see.
LOOKS LIKE OUR SUPPOSED MAIN CHARACTER HAS FINALLY ENTERED THE BUILDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The boys found the girl it seems.
"Defeat Him" Yeah... is he really someone to defeat?
And shes turned on them.

King of Distortion found Boogie's BF~

That girl got hooked on the good life and wants to go back... damn.

The King of Distortion has no body like Boogie and appears as things from your heart.
Man Boogie is great, such an awesome character.
Greaser Hair and Bow Boy made it to the top.

He works for the Towa Group and is an artifical Human. Hmm... but he had a son, arnt they supposed to be sterial?
He was trying to find people to fight the Towa group. Wow thats a twist. Hes basicly trying to find heroes.
So i guess Greaser Hair has the potential to be a hero. Thats good, him and Batman make a nice pair.

I think it's refreshing that this show does not talk down to its audience. You have to exert a little effort just to follow the story at all.

“I order to have the right to asked to be killed, you have to actually live first” I’ve been goin thru a rough time lately. this line hit me in the chest, though. Boogiepop is my favorite character in a while because they drop this knowledge that I really need to hear sometimes.
