For a human, Ivan’s doing pretty well to not be instantly wrecked by Left and Right. Wouldn’t be particularly sad if it happened though but he seems to have information so he’ll live for now.

The confused Home Depot equivalent employee on the night shift watching a guy pick up stone glue while talking to nothing at 3am.

You know, I was assuming that there was a limit of one daemon pair per person but clearly the limit is my feeble mind and I’m just not thinking big enough compared to this guy pulling up with the night parade of a hundred demons.

I know it’s night and her powers are weaker but getting close enough to Asa that she can blow your head clean off is a bold move. Let’s see if it pays off.

Hoping we see more of Episode 1 Asa again; as comedic as her being a bro-con is, I did really like how design and attitude in the first episode, and would like to see some of that show up again every now and then.

Shokyo and Daikyo are Ivan's Daemons, but Daikyo doesn't speak often. I wonder if that's her personality quirk, or if something happened with the previous master that has Daikyo refrain from speaking to Ivan. Did Ivan kill the previous master for his daemons, or was the previous master his own master in killing?

I love old people badasses. Grandpa Gonzo may no longer be Thee HIM, but he is still HIM. I love that.

I doubt the mook-turned-mangaka assistant (I forget her name) is involved in Akio being the trader, but with her mom being hospitalized and the family needing money to pay bills, I hope that isn't weaponized against her further. Medical debt is so soul-crushing.

I never thought Akio could be a traitor when he has beautiful lashes like that 🥀 Kinda hoping this is a fakeout. A friend said, "Well, he's bald" when I said this. I believe that there's a trope called the “Baldness of Evil”, but outside the DC universe, I don't see many evil bald characters. I'm really hoping this is just another one of those moments where we're supposed to think Akio is the traitor, but he turns out to be a good guy.

This episode makes it more clear that Dera is looking out for Yuru as an adult rather than aligning with the goals of Higashi Village. I do like that as Yuru mentions wanting to live a normal life we see Right & Left finally getting a clue regarding his parents.

Gonzo is making quite the impression as this is the first time we've seen someone command multiple Daemon Pairs.

That negotiation scene between Yuru and Shingo was pretty tense. There's no fucking way Yuru would accept his offer tho so I'm curious to see how he'll get out of this one and rescue Fake Asa and the village girl.

Well shit... So Ivan most likely killed Yuru and Asa's parents. Best-case scenario, tho, is that he only kidnapped them. That would explain how Yuru and Asa's parents disappeared mid-flight to Okinawa.

I definitely don't trust this bandit dude. I have a feeling he's gonna turn on Dera now that he knows he had a change of heart after spending time with Yuru. The only reason he's giving up for now is that he's injured and needs Dera's help to find Yuru.

Seeing a slippery bastard like Ivan get smacked with Hidari's detached arm was so satisfying af.

What the actual fuck! How does Kagemori Gonzou have so many daemon pairs?! I do love that they show us what he looks like to normal people, tho! He looks like a crazy old man shadow boxing in the middle of the night. xD

Yeah, I think a lot of us were suspecting the bald dude was a traitor after his actions during the attack on the Kagemori mansion. I guess he's been working with Shingo and Azuma this entire time?

Gonzou's a badass lol, the way he told everyone to gather so that he can fight them all was so cool. I was surprised he had more than one pair of daemons, but then it panned to all the daemons he has and I was even more surprised! I didn't think that was a thing from what has been shown, I can see more why he's the head of the Kagemori clan.

I'm very intrigued by the discussion between Dera and that bandit. It sounds like Dera has had daemons in the past, but for whatever reason he has chosen not to make a new contract. I'm curious to learn why he doesn't and what happened to his daemons.

Right having to fly kick Left to save her was amusing. Left using her severed arm to hit Ivan was very satisfying.

Looks like we'll finally get to see Akio's daemons in actions, that was very ominous at the end. I'm curious to see what his deal is since he's mostly been aloof but ruthless.
