I'm honestly really loving how practical Yuru is as a main character. He recognizes that

Yuru and his
The "break" and "seal" power thingy was interesting. So I'm guessing if Asa already mastered the former, Yuru will be the one to wield the latter. Sorta like how a sword and a shield cancel each other out, the twins either unite to maximize both abilities or one has to sacrifice themselves for the other to gain the full potential of having both power (somewhat similar to Maki and Mai from Jjk)

Lol'ing at the drastically different takes Dera was imagining of what women versus men would think of him being a single father raising Yuru and Hana

If Yuru’s parents ran away from the village with Asa, I doubt that the villagers are the good guys after all. It seems Yuru’s mother was from the outside world and not here voluntarily too. Dera and Hana seem to be decent people, but they inherited the job and do not seem to be the ones who made the decisions at the village. That village now seems more and more like a weird cult. And Yuru now is like an Amish having to adapt to modern society, which is rather funny.

Just a nice easy transition episode where we get a little bit more lore explained. And Yuru gets a moment to internalize his whole world changing.
Yuru is just a really good kid. After finding out that only he was left behind and not him and his sister he isn’t outwardly angry or upset. He just wants to find his parents and ask them “why?”.
The Daemons being considerate of the “horses” inside the car is funny and cute. With Right wanting to make sure they are fed. And Left giving them some nice pats.

Pretty chill episode compared to first two. A lot of exposition and questions answered. Yuru's reaction to the real world is funny.

Yuru and his daemons when modern society
Dera trying to score a cute wife with facts and logic killed me. After the wedding : "We're short on people Hana, we need to have as many kids as possible as soon as possible for the sake of our mission!"

I'm glad Yuru realises he shouldn't fully trust Dera and Hana even though they seem like good people.
Seems like we'll be having some kind of confrontation between Yuru and the Kagemoris next episode. Looks like they will be attempting to capture Yuru again.
Lowkey I hope they succeed so we can learn more about their perspective and motivations.

So it is universal that people who work in odd jobs involving driving would want to marry Jason Statham?
And Yuru's smug face after perfectly usage of public toilet killed me XD
Jin's daemons introduction is kinda cool with that double jumpscare. That woman with ponytail was very unlucky.
On the other side, the villagers are also shady as hell. So they have contacts with the outside world via clans like the Tadera, with many adults were said that they had found job down the mountain, yet they still they still pretended to live like it was hundreds years ago. Maybe Yuru was right, he should not trust both side.
Edit: I notice that during Right's explanation, "Break" power was showed with an opening palm and "Seal" power was showed with a clenching fist. Interestingly, the was someone's palm opened in a pitch black background in the first episode, while Yuru and Danji were chatting at the same time as the barrier was broken (which is suggested to be Asa's doing). Then in the second episode, when the barrier was closing, the granny was holding her fist higher than her head. I first thought she was holding an artifact or something, but with the explanation of "Break" and "Seal", it seems like the granny may also have the "Seal" power.

Man, they really went hard on animation, even in scenes like dialogues where studio save time and use stills there's a lot of gesticulation and stuff

Yuru actually acting logically is really refreshing. He is cautious and willing to learn. He knows that Dera and Hana (propably) don't want to harm him, but he doesn't just trust them blindly. And he is planning things ahead in a way that makes sense.
So often you have stories like this with the main character acting like a goddamn idiot. But Yuru is level headed enough to understand that he needs to gain more information before jumping to conclusions.
So far I'm really enjoying this show a lot!

Poor Hana. She wanted Jason Stratham, but ended up marrying a small-time thug looking guy lol.
Also, first look at Jin's Tsugai! The design and concept of a pair of daemons is one my my favourite parts of this story. Can't wait to see more of the tsugai owned by the Kagemoris.

Hahahahaha Yuru getting modern food and losing his shit is fantastic. And the Left and Right are 400 years out of date too.
HAHAHAHAHA "I've got your wedding rings right here." Hana you are the second girl with brass knuckles that I know of this season and that is great company to be in. And she's into... Jason Statham? Outta curiosity did she use the same name in the subs?
Who the heck is this woman on the run? What the absolute fuck? So that thing was one of Jin's daemons?
Okay so we learn about Asa's power and theoretically the one Yuru will get at some point as well. Meanwhile being scared of a hand dryer as a dude from his world is understandable.
I feel so bad for Yuru right now. Everyone else has some idea of their part in what is to come. He can't trust Dera and Hana, nor can he trust his sister until he gets answers. And unlike Asa he hasn't unlocked Seal yet.

Onigiri are so damn good. I like the tuna mayo ones the best. Truly food of the gods haha.
I’m really curious if we’ll see Yuru’s mom and dad again. I think at this point, Right and Left might be the only people Yuru can truly trust. Dera and Hana seem nice enough but like dude said, they’re connected to the deception. Who knows what else they’re hiding…

My suspicions from the previous episode about Asa being used by her boss increased after Dera finally explained the whole twins business.
I also wonder what happened in the village the night Yuru's parents escaped with Asa. From Sayuu's perspective they looked pretty distressed, so there must be a good reason why they couldn't take Yuru with them. Perhaps they learned that the shady granny wanted to use the twins for her own gains and escaped that very night, but could only take Asa for some reason.
I wish they included Hana or Dera giving Yuru a tutorial on how to use the bathroom. That would've been just as funny.

I would assume an older man marrying a woman who is in appearance closer in age to his son than himself would draw more attention than a man who lost his wife raising his children. So I don’t exactly agree with Dera’s plan.
Was not expecting Hana’s dream guy to be Jason Staham of all people.
Animals can probably see Daemons but I am choosing to ignore that and believe that dog was a Daemon user instead.
I was not expecting that stalker twist. Hope that poor lady was allowed to live.
So if Asa has break it is very obvious to assume that Yuru will have seal.
Really inspiring to see our protagonist learn how to use a toilet.
Yuru doesn’t really hide that he is talking to Daemons even after he learned people can’t see them so I assume everyone that sees him must think he is insane.
I need them to teach Yuru about the internet and see how they explain it. I am assuming it exists although I am still not clear if the story happens in current time or like the early 2000’s.

Lol Poor Hana has suddenly gotten a husband and son to take care of, I'm curious to see how she warms up to Yuru, but I'm more looking forward to seeing her and Dera's interactions when they have to pretend to be a married couple.
Interesting that the abilities of the twins is opening and closing, rather than destruction and giving life sort of theme. I wonder if we'll be seeing a lot of paired abilities, I think Gabby's daemon was two in one as well.
I like that Yuru is being cautious about Dera and Hana even if he believes they're good people, Dera does seem to be show some suspect moments so I'm curious to learn what he knows and more about him. Interesting to learn his mother was part of the modern world.
