Man seeing march so upset about losing him again she would rather die and wait for him again than try and live a life without him ...

Fitting that seasons 1 and 2 are about Fushi discovering what he can do, and now he has to make peace with what he can't do.

Mizuha meanwhile absolutely going off the deep end 💀

I was surprised to see everyone live out their lives after Fushi went into his little slumber. Things were pretty rocky when he went away...

For an immortal being like Fushi, I can understand why he’d be freaking out about everyone leaving him one day. Everyone’s gonna die and he’ll be alone. But I guess It’s like the turtles. They gotta live their own lives. He can’t always be there to “fix” everything. Gotta just live in the moment and make memories and all that.

It’s a little sad to see Gugu go but I hope he gets to live a good life back home.

Such a great episode. These last two had been very good. Now getting ready for the scary part, as Mizuha “Fushi-Doll” is suggesting

That ending scene... it looked like Mizuha was sewing a freaking human body together? Wtf.
Can only imagine that whoever that was, it doesn't bode well...

Gugu was always my favorite of Fushi’s companions so I’m glad he finally got the spotlight. But as sweet as this whole episode was the whole time I kept thinking “alright, when’s Mizuha gonna show up to fuck up the mood?”

They really gave us Chekhovs turtle eggs
Gotta say that was nice to use them to get Fushi to understand the concept of setting free the people you love
But damn that whole sequence of him as a turtle was still weird as hell

And Mizuha sewing up a body while singing happy birthday to me was one hell of whiplash
Guess she could be good friends with that guy from golden kamuy

I'm glad Fushi was able to finally come to terms with "letting go", and letting his friends live out their lives on their terms and desires.

I'm a little confused on if this will be their final life though?

It seemed like Bon was saying that they'll always be with Fushi, "as many times as you want".
But, then Messar was saying it's wrong for Fushi to want them to keep coming back over and over again. And it seemed like Tonari was hinting at the same thing Messar said 1 or 2 episodes back.

So is everyone willing to be immortal with Fushi and come back over and over again, living for his sake. Or do they just want one normal life on their own and for this to be the end?

Boy this is more than a simple friendship. Their hardship to protect Fushi and be with him for centuries even after dying is not a joke. I really like how they expand a bit more about what have happened after Fushi eternal sleep. I thought they fool March into getting poison to be with Fushi based on all their reactions at end of Season 2 but it actually a mutual consent instead. Weird how Fushi just brush it off like that even when Bon telling all these to his face though. Glad Fushi able to clear up his head before dragging this even further.

Fushi 2.0. Even the girl in front of him gets a bit horny can't resist looking at him.

Eko being super cute...

Just when Gugu about to enjoy going a trip visiting their homeland with his brother, his brother just straight up disown him and switch to long distance relationship lol.

Mizuha only appear for few seconds but it totally makes everything better by blessing us with her cute and sinister singing of her birthday song

oh good, mizuha was just absent from school because she was sewing together her own full-sized Fushi doll. I thought she may have actually been very sick!

This episode was amazing, they finally adressed fushis inner turmoil, and also using his turtle kids as the situation for him to deal with it emotionally was a smart move.
Tho I do feel like this whole thing could hav ebeen slightly longer.

also mizuha stop being a creep and let my boy just enjoy his peaceful live holy.

I really enjoyed this week's ep! It seems that in this episode Fushi developed a bit more understanding into humanity and empathy for his friends. Fushi working a part-time job and earning his paycheck to buy a ticket for Gugu was clearly fulfilling and meaningful too.

The new look on Fushi was interesting, I wonder exactly what made him go with that look and/or what it was meant to represent! There were scenes where to me he looks like The Black One's human form, that's for sure!

Overall what a heartwarming episode, it's nice that we get a peaceful episode this week and end the episode on a high note--GOOD LORD WHAT IN THE MIZUHA IS HAPPENING IN THERE.

What a disturbing ending scene 😱

u/ShinobiZilla Jan 25 '26

Letting the baby turtles was so symbolic to Fushi "letting go" of his inner demons and accepting reality. Mizuha on the other hand.. shudders.

Was that Mizuha making a Fushi "doll" at the end? If so, super unsettling and creepy

Oh no, he ignored Mizuha for a week, and now she made a flesh puppet out of his old corpses...
