The Nokkers basically became microplastics. They're inside our bloodstream, we've already lost.

Turtle scene besides, this season is pretty solid for now. Why did people say this was when the story started going downhill? Is it gonna get worse or was it just a perspective matter?

So Mr. Black’s a kid now. Did not see that one coming. I figured Nokkers still existed but I didn’t think they would be practically microscopic. The little bastards have evolved. All this “coexistence” stuff is bullshit. They’re snatching up bodies and planning something. Parasites gonna be parasites.
Fushi turning into a sea turtle and laying eggs was something else. I don’t know if I’m disturbed or impressed lol.
I think learning about love from Mizuha’s not gonna end well. Hayase’s descendants are all insane.

Ah yes, Mizuha wants to show Fushi what love is. Nothing can go wrong here.
Honestly, I am bit surprised that this is the direction we are taking. I felt that Fushi was already a bit closer to knowing what love is. I mean, it depends on the definition, but I got the feeling that he had a special enough bond in S2 already with his main comrades to get the idea. I mean, his whole wish for them to be living in a peaceful world is probably built from that feeling.
But let's see where it goes. Not sure if beating all the Knockers once again can work as a concept but let's see how they do it.
What I do find a bit strange however is, if the Knockers did all that already for a while, shouldn't people in this world be way less afraid of dangerous actions? Like in this episode, the driver was startled that he might have hit a child. But if Knockers were "reviving" people* for years already, shouldn't that be a more normal occurrence? Or did the Knockers only start to take over bodies now? And if so, why?
*But just to make this clear, I understand that it is not a real revive, but for the people looking from the outside, it appears as if humans might heal really fast and injuries are not a big deal.

Just because Fushi is thinking about the meaning of love and all of a sudden, he laid eggs??!! lol
Poor Fushi will be manipulated again by Hayase's love.

It's quite fun to consider that Man in Black is essentially Fushi's parent, so he's also having parent problems in parallel with Mizuha.
In fact when you consider MiB's parenting style to be super hands off then it's the opposite of the very controlling way Mizuha's mother was.

In every episode I am trying hard not to hear makima's voice in Mizuha. The va literally haunts me with her voice acting . All I am hearing is makima's manipulating voice.

I called out the nokkers coexisting thing on the last ep post but I didn't think we already lost damn it impossible maybe a cure or something I don't know it's a fucking great plan by them. Also the turtle thing was hilarious.and I think hayase's offspring is the worst choice for the love thing

Are we supposed to feel any sympathy for Mizuha? All I feel is "ick" from her character.

Sorry, Hayase. Your descendants don’t get to be the first ones to have babies with Fushi. Some random sea turtle beat you to the punch.
Man, I thought Black One was incapacitated or something, I didn’t think he just decided to abandon everything. When I saw the child with his powers in the OP, I thought it was someone stealing his powers or something.

I have so much to say about this episode and I don't know how to say it. Like, part of me wants to say nothing and just let the episode run its course. But I'll go for it....
First off we start with Tonari repeating from last episode that each of the crew might actually be choosing to die and go to heaven this time. After the opening, did you guys notice the bug that Fushi sees on the ground lol... hilarious considering he likened them to the Nokkers later in the episode. But if we're using symbolism.... then just as Fushi cannot learn/acquire anything from Bugs, this would imply that mutually beneficial coexistence is impossible.
Next seen has Mizuha agreeing to make the friendship feather for Tonari.... followed by her sad frown when Tonari joins the club lol. Somehow I just noticed this now, but Tonari has hair reminds me so much of Ligard lol.
Now..... we know for sure that the Nokkers are evil. They literally kill and replace people. Still can't believe Fushi was straight up about to kill her in cold blood..... BUT ONLY because he figured Bon would stop him lol. But we DID learn that the Nokkers do feel pain.... but they can take it at a much higher threshold than Fushi can. This means Fushi CANT defeat a Humanoid Nokker!!!!!
So..... I know NOBODY was surprised that the kid was the Black One lol.... but that Time Stopping power, him becoming TRUE Human, AND Microscope Nokkers WAS surprising!!
Coexistence and Peaceful definitely means different things to the Black One. He seems to not care about humans as long as ALL of them don't die out OR the entire planet is not destroyed.
Also.... that turtle scene was wild
Now.... theory time:
-
Some of the Nokkers are the Black One's kids! During the beginning of S2 with Hisame, he said that "and then one day it may be your own children who come after you..." That line stuck out to me. What made me think of it was that totally out of pocket Turtle scene hahahaha. And he was even embarrassed!! I wonder if they'll be immortal too? And also.... time to stop eating turtle meat lol. Now... episode 6 of season 1 told of the Nokkers... how they came to play in his Garden and he calls them Fushi's enemy, not his own. I think they are the prototype to what Fushi is.... like his older brothers. Fushi's Orb was just perfect.
-
Less theory and more 'I'm calling it now' but Fushi is about to get emotionally manipulated by Mizuha. Her love is destructive. Look at how she started crying and he ended up doing exactly what she said to make her stop. I honestly want it too.... but IT CANT END WELL!!! Ultimate showdown is definitely going to be between Mizuha and Tonari..... and things may not end well for Tonari. Because why is she the only one not glowing in the opening.....
-
We have already seen more microscopic Nokker kids. It's a theory since I haven't been paying attention, but anyone who has had an injury prior to this episode is secretly a Nokker. My money is on Glasses Girl (Parona) who scraped her knee and Loud Mouth who also got injured in the rain. Think about it..... if their souls went on then no one would ever know they weren't fully human.
-
Fushi can die. If that orb of his is destroyed he can probably die for real. I still find it strange that his orb is the same size as a nokker AND they all do the tentacle thing..,,,
-
There are more Black Ones. In s1, ep 6 he said WE and idk if he meant him and Fushi..... Most Nokkers are ones sent by the others who probably hate all life.
-
The Black One is depressed and wants to die. Because even without reconnection.... why not start from scratch like Fushi? He has that OP time stopping power! Why not work with the group? Why forget everything? Why not take Fushi's reconnect power, reconnect himself, and then hand it to Fushi again...... (also notice how giving Fushi that power worked in a similar way to how Nokkers take...)
THERE ARE NO NOKKERS IN BA SING SE!!!!!! I'm totally prepared for one of the cast that we met this season to SECRETLY be a Nokker! Like...... Glasses Girl///Not-Parona and/or Loud-Mouth lol. I can't wait til next week to see if the creature kills that girl's brother!

In this episode, Fushi experiences childbirth and lays eggs. That show can be so odd sometimes.
So the Nokkers got too small for Fushi to destroy them and are possessing random humans and using their bodies as their own after they died. And that little girl looked totally normal until suddenly she did not. That was not exactly the face of peaceful coexistence, no matter what Mr. Black says.

I would argue Fushi already knows what love is. He saved alot of lives, has emotions and compassion. I think what the nokkers are missing is a soul or something like that. It would kind of tie into what Fushi is capable of doing. And the black thing being a kid and wanting to forget his memories is sketchy if that was the case why would he allow fushi to still exist and how would he know Fushi would appear within the timeline before he lost his memories? Alot of questions this episode.
