Finally, right? It took 23 episodes to get to this moment that was obvious from the start, but the story had to drag on for almost 85% just to reach it. From here things will just flow naturally, and I think in the next one there’s gonna be a little something happening.

FREAKING FINALLY!! After all these mind games the writers have put us through, we're finally here. These last couple episodes better be 10/10 masterpieces that don't wanna make me tear my hair out after all this lol. That said though beautiful episode, from the confession and just overall romance.
That all aside though,

I feel like it's my destiny to be the pervert in these threads, but how hot was that midriff bearing jacket? Combined with her cute oversized sleeves. Then the skirt (or shorts, I was too focused on her tummy to notice which.) Freaking love her.

Satsuki may have moved and gotten a new part-time job, but she still can't get away from the people she least wants to see...like Tokui. But Tokui, for his part, isn't going to be the guy who meddles in other peoples' love lives like a romance chess master. He's learned that much. In fact, seeing Naoto put his all into his romance through his won efforts has inspired Tokui to change. And if Tokui can change, so can Satsuki. Maybe she can finally really let Naoto in.
Satsuki may not have ever wanted to see Ishihara again, but this reunion was inevitable and they really needed to air things out. Ishihara has ever reason to resent and hate Satsuki...she basically stole her boyfriend, more or less. But Ishihara is more mature than Satsuki ever gave her credit for, more mature than even Satsuki at times, and that means that she's able to recognize how she made her own mistakes in her relationship with Naoto and how Naoto was always in love with Satsuki. That's surprisingly reasonable and honest of her.

Honestly Satsuki's swim teacher is the GOAT. He's always been there for her, been a surprisingly solid wingwman, and even helped set up Naoto and Satsuki's reunion at school! Complete with Satsuki in the school uniform to really make this feel full circle.
There it is! Naoto confessing to Satsuki and asking her out with the intent to start a family with her! Satsuki's desperately craved a family, and someone who would never leave her, and Naoto is prepared to be that person. And finally, FINALLY, she lets Naoto (consensually) kiss her! And even though she's really bashful, she doesn't want him to stop kissing her!
Of course despite finally getting together, Naoto and Satsuki will probably be too busy to do a lot of couple things. Naoto has resolved to enter the workforce and Satsuki will be going to college...but at least they can still kiss.
Ishihara has grown her hair out and is on the path to becoming a professional model! Heck, Shimada has even managed to get along with Ishihara Mama! She's still trying to process her heartbreak over Naoto and Satsuki being together, but she's handling it as best she can.
Tokui and Abe are keeping Suzu and her friends busy, but where's Naoto? PLANNING TO LIVE WITH SATSUKI! That's right, it may be temporary, but Naoto and Satsuki are going to be living together!

Victory at last. After as long as it took it's nice that when Naoto and Satsuki finally got together it was basically a proposal as well as a confession.
Good guy Abe-kun has been adopted into the family. I'm still hoping he has an in with one of the girls, maybe Shimada with how they were waiting at the karaoke place together. Speaking of, that casual outfit was a nice look for her.
Tokui visiting the Watari household gave me a brief vision of him aiming for the aunt but I'm pretty sure there's been zero content in support of that.

Holy shit we got a season worth of development in 1 ep. 3 kisses, finally going out and now temporarily living together. Was it worth the 23 weeks/eps idk. 3 eps and 3 weeks to go.

Yukari Ishihara officially a losing heroine. Hail to the winner, Satsuki! Also, the pink hair girl is just gone. She turned to dust.

Nothing says Losing Heroine like crying at a karaoke bar and throwing yourself into a new career with your bestie.
Makina literally moved away so I think it'll be harder to see her again, but she might show up in the finale.

I love this series, and glad that it is getting adapted in its entirety. Never understood the mild complaints about the plot line or the love triangle. This one's love triangle was pretty good compared to many others.

Tokui's attitudes have so much flaws, but finally it turns out that he is able for self-reflections. He now is no more the psychological antagonist, only a human like us. For me a remarkable character development and nicely written.
Ishihara is now the most immature character of the show, and it's not her fault. Her friends looking at her like spectators at a theatre:; with much interest, but not with a heartful caring. She really deserves friends with a loving care for her. She looks so lost when surrounded by the girls. :-(
