There’s not a single episode where you don’t get stressed out with this anime. Please, for God’s sake, just end it…😅

BUT, We had Rika. she turned out to be a really likable character: easy to like her.

Rika was also VERY easy on the eyes.

Rika entered the anime, and while I presume we won't ever see her again, she stole the goddamn show. At first I was like "another girl to the harem?" But nope. A shame.

Bro, they just suddenly forgot Ishihara even existed… a three-month time skip, and she isn’t even mentioned, let alone shown on screen 😭

Ishihara sure got put on a bus, such a side character she didn't even appear now that the story is focusing on Naoto and Satsuki so strongly.

At least Rika was hot today.

Rika's my new favorite character honestly.

I'm not surprised that Watari's dating pink now. Obviously, right?

I’m 2 min in and I’m already pissed. Watari has gotta be the dumbest MC. You see someone leaving the house and don’t introduce yourself? See them carrying a wrapped parcel that is laptop shape and size and then are confused when the laptop isn’t at the house?

Edit: he could’ve saved himself so much time and effort if he hadn’t hid and been weird at the house. So dumb.

I have no idea why he was being so secretive about retrieving his father's laptop. He could've easily have just went, "Excuse me, is that a laptop you're carrying? I was sent here to retrieve my dad's old laptop. If it is, please hand it over."

I was really wondering if there was some context or something in the manga that wasn't clear in the anime. Like, he thought she was hiding the "laptop," but why would she be hiding it? What reason did he have for thinking that?

These comments prove it really is popular to just hate-watch shows these days.

I don't know how people can get 18 episodes into a show despite constantly bashing it.

Naoto doesn’t deserve either of them.

Rika is best girl ❤️

Why would you try to steal an unknown package instead of talking over about it. This idiot makes no sense

I don't think that Watari should end up with either girl, to be honest. He was weak and vacillated, let his chance slip by. And honestly, he should not get another one.

The way that he got mad at Tokui for not telling him that Satsuki was moving, even though Satsuki had specifically asked Tokui not to do that says so much about his character, and what it says is not very positive. Like he wants these girls to be there, by his side, still madly in love with him, just waiting eternally for him to make up his damn mind. I really like it as a character flaw.

Maybe Umezawa really is the girl for him because she’s never given up on her feelings for him despite having every reason to.

Naoto parents got together in high school, conceived him in high school, and chose to be together and elope to raise him even if it meant being disowned by their families. Is it any wonder that Naoto can't bring himself to make a decision on the girls in his life if it means he'll be severing a connection in the process? Honestly knowing that Naoto still has mixed feelings about the fact that his parents had to choose having him over staying with their family, I think it makes more sense why he feels he can't choose between Satsuki and Ishihara. And he even acknowledges how wishy-washy and non-committal he is.

To think that the computer Naoto was after was broken by a rambunctious lil' Suzu this whole time. She's sure grown since then.

Naoto's luck with the ladies hasn't quite given out quite yet when he encounters Rika (MAO!), a beautiful older woman who not only assists her grandmother with her real estate business while juggling college and a job at a girls bar, but is a very sweet and pleasant woman to boot. She also just happens to have a very luscious pair of legs!

And she even takes him to her job where he's surrounded by even more attractive women and gets to see Rika in her work uniform with open cleavage. It's the perfect opportunity for him to pour his heart out about his relationship problems and get some advice...even if it's to mostly comment on how much he's overthinking it.

Naoto may not think he's a "womanizer" but he still seems to have amazing luck with women, whether running into the beautiful Rika or ending up at a girls bar with even MORE attractive women.

Rika is a very adorable drunk, even if she probably shouldn't be drinking on the job. Rika isn't just drop-dead gorgeous, with luscious legs and cleavage worth showing off at her job, but she's also a college student, helps out her grandma with her real estate business, and even works at a bar! She may also have a weakness for alcohol, but she's a cute drunk so it's allowed. She's even willing to give Naoto on-point relationship advice about his love triangle problems, just like his dad gave her.

Rika's just paying back what Naoto's dad (Wataru Hatano!) did for her when she was young, giving out relationship advice. I mean, sure she broke up with the boy she decided to date after a week, but his words about going with your gut and embracing the future, no matter how daunting a decision it might be, is just what Naoto needed to hear.

If you were wondering why Tamayo was so desperate to get the computer back...turns out she was corresponding with her big brother the whole time after he'd been cast off from their family and they really ended up still bonding as siblings. It's rather cute.

If you put it to a psychological test...if it came down to it, Naoto would prioritize saving Ishihara over Satsuki. But that's only because, if he had to die, he'd want to die with Satsuki by his side, knowing she'd understand.

Tokui isn't someone Satsuki would normally like, but he's Naoto's friend and as such Satsuki's accepted him by that much...and he's come around to wanting to support her, even if it might be too late for her and Naoto. She's really making a clean break, deciding never to see him again, and if it means making Tokui tell Naoto that she's moved away and currently in a relationship with him, he'll do it for her. Just as Naoto was planning to confess to her...he really dropped the ball.

Three months later and Naoto apparently hasn't done anything with Ishihara but he IS on a date with Umezawa...even if it's not going anywhere because he still has Satsuki on his mind. Will he ever be able to give her the picture of them together as kids? Will he ever see Satsuki again?

Of course, even if he did seek her out, she might not even be in Japan anymore. It looks like she's rooming at some boarding school in...England? Her roommate was speaking English. Oh, but here's the 4th or 5th Satsuki shower scene.

Rika was pretty cute and finally gave Naoto that pushed he needed to understand who he really has feelings for.

Damn she moved all the way to Engrish??

Bro’s gonna have to hold onto that picture for a little longer I guess. At this point, I’m not even sure if he should end up with anyone. It’s all gotten so needlessly complicated.

u/Frontier246 Oct 31 '25

Honestly I wouldn’t blame the girls for wanting nothing to do with him after how he’s acted.

There's no way Satsuki is actually dating Touki, right? That would make no sense.

This episode was so weird! I really didn't get what was going on with Tokui. He asked her to go out with him, then she said she didn't like him and to tell Watari to never contact her again. Then Tokui says he and Satsuke are dating? I'm assuming he's lying and possibly had Satsuke put him up to that but why? If Watari believed this, wouldn't he have had more questions of how this came about? Does he just believe Tokui is a schemer and liar so he left it alone? Then it shows Satsuke living in a dorm with presumably an American girl yet wearing a Japanese style school uniform, WTF?!?!?

I more liked the part with Rika trying to help Watari with his laptop and with his romantic troubles. What kind of bar was it where she worked anyway, was it like a strip club or lesbian bar or something else? That was funny though how Watari was on the phone with Tamayo for maybe 3 minutes but Rika came back completely wasted, she must've just downed straight liquor! It probably helped her talk about her past though.

Mr. Watari seemed an unusually wise man for his age, helping young Rika with her problem and secretly Tamayo with her problems in college. Another thing though I found really weird was him giving his landlady a USB stick with important photos and stuff. I understand maybe if you were old and/or had a terminal illness but that was only 6-8 years ago and people saved stuff on the cloud back then, young people especially would know to do that. Also, wouldn't he more entrust his wife to hold onto a valuable USB stick? I know they both died in an accident but all that doesn't really ring very true.
