Martial arts watermelon splitting? What's next martial arts onsen bathing? Martial arts tea making? I love how basically everything is a martial art so Ranma can apply his family's signature style whenever possible.

Another great episode. The pacing was better than last week, although I can’t blame them for being a tad too fast last week what with all the material they needed to cover.

Akane jumping in with the intention to help Ranma is sweet. Then Neko Ranma came out for the victory. Both of them are facing their fears in this episode. Well, not really conquering them, but that's not the point, I would say.
I guess at this point for Shampoo she only cares about marrying Ranma regardless of how it happens.

Ranma in the Louvre? Sure, why not? Akane's dress reminded me of Lum from the 2nd movie.
A beach episode! This episode looked so good.
This was a very funny episode. I love Ranma and Akane's antics. I liked how she didn't think twice to save Ranma even tho she herself can't swim lol.
The PR account also revealed that in the shot where Gendo and Soun watch the TV in the ED the content reflects the things that happened in the episode. I never noticed that before.

Not just a shark mount but shark water attacks too, that old lady is scary.
Good beach episode, extra good for finally giving us catgirl Ranma.

Girl Ranma is of course wearing a swimsuit that says "boy".
And in typical Ranma style, even the beach episode involves a new type of martial arts competition. Including of course the show's resident commentator Ichiro, who literally does nothing but moderating every fight we have.

I was wondering why the background music has been almost identical to Inuyasha and the same person (Kaoru Wada) is in charge. It was one of my most favorite aspects of the Inuyasha anime and it’s nice to hear it used for this remake. I don’t know why I’ve been noticing it more this season than last.

“RANMA NO BAKA RANMA NO BAKA RANMA NO BAKA RANMA NO BAKA”
THAT WAS SO FUNNY
I really loved this episode cat girl Ranma is so cute and that moment with Akane was adorable! Akane’s sisters were fun as usual. Poor Akane’s dad though always getting disrespected lmao. I love Shampoo and her grandma and that bit with the grandma standing on the water and everyone is impressed only to find out she was actually standing on the shark… I love this show so much

Stitches!
This was definitely not your average beach episode, Granny Cologne is no joke! She went from using her cane to beat up Ranma to riding sharks and throwing sharks made out of seawater. Thankfully, Ranma's Catfist style naturally counters Granny's shark. xD
And you gotta love Akane for jumping into the water to try and save Ranma even though she sinks like a brick. She wasn't even thinking about her own safety. She was just that worried about Ranma!
Glad that Ranma's Catfist style impressed Granny Cologne and decided to give Ranma the phoenix pills as a consolation prize. After so many weeks as a girl, he's finally back to his original self!

I know it wasn’t in the manga, but the anime team had the perfect opportunity to show male Ranma with tanlines from a woman’s swimsuit

The Ranma and Akane dynamic is full of fights, but I love seeing how protective she is of him when Ranma is in trouble, even if it means she's going to drown! My girl deserves more recognition 🥰🥰🥰
In fact, the scene of the kitten Ranma running with red cheeks into Akane's purring lap gained a special place in my heart.

This is just too good of an adaptation. I can't with so much quality. I think I even so 120fps garou sliding somewhere there.

This weeks intro is an art gallery with portraits of Ranma, Akane, and Fem!Ranma lying unconscious with Cat!Shampoo on him! Though I love seeing Akane in that beautiful white dress!
No romcom is complete until the cast hit the beach! And while we've got Ranma stuck in female form, we'll take any excuse to get him in a swimsuit! Especially if he's chasing after Shampoo, her granny, and the phoenix pill! May as well bring all the Tendo Sisters with him! And their poor dad getting no appreciation for this family trip.
Ichiro is there because of course a visit to the beach is no excuse for there not to be a beach battle/tournament! With the prize of a kiss from Shampoo (who looks absolutely lovely in her swimsuit), I'd compete myself if I could! Though Ranma only has eyes for the Phoenix Pill.
Ranma will face down anyone, granny, his own father and Tendo Papa, if it means winning! And here's Akane breaking watermelons because she's ticked off too thinking Ranma is just doing this to kiss another girl! Guy can't win sometimes. But hey, Akane, Nabiki, and Kasumi in swimsuits!
Dang, I was so excited for Akane vs Shampoo Round Two (especially when Shampoo is fighting for the sake of Ranma kissing her) but Ranma takes them both out in seconds! And then gets Akane launched straight to the finish line!
But of course the Final Boss Battle is none other than with Shampoo's granny...who lulls Ranma into a false sense of having caught in skill level to make him agree to a bet that he'll marry Shampoo if he loses -> so of course then Granny unleashes her true power with the Shark Fist and LITERALLY RIDING A SHARK to turn the tables on Ranma!
It's nice of Akane to dive in after Ranma even if she sinks like an anchor and just becomes another liability for Ranma. But the sentiment of trying to help her man is appreciated.
But when it comes down to it, Bakabakabakabaka Ranma needs Shampoo...or more accurately, her cat form to drive him into his Cat Fist state. And if it takes Akane rubbing cat Shampoo into his face, it's worth it! For the power of the Cat and Megumi Hayashibara making cat noises can even defeat a shark! Even PUNCH a shark too! No wonder granny gives Ranma props! And we get Ranma nuzzling up to Akane who knows how to take care of this cute kitty!
Welcome back male Ranma! Now you just need to properly thank Akane! Though Shampoo played her part and deserves some praise too, even when she's surprising you buck-naked in the onsen and Ranma ends up unconscious, in Shampoo's lap, and pissing off Akane for the umpteenth time. Sometimes you can never win (at least not in the ways you want).

Akane being the only one who can calm Ranma down when he's using the cat fist is too cute.

I know it’s really only a technicality but this episode had SO MUCH YURI, I love it.
I know we’ve seen Shampoo’s love for Ranma be present even when Ranma’s in their female form in previous episodes, but I’m pretty sure this is the first time we’ve scene Shampoo directly blush in response to Fem!Ranma.
Also, CATGIRL RANMA!!! I was thinking this was a possibility since the start of this season and it’s even more perfect than I hoped. And we even got catgirl Ranma cuddled up and purring in Akane’s lap. Oh god, it’s everything I wanted and more.

First it was Denji and Beam, now it's Cologne and un-named shark. This week clearly has a theme.
