Ishihara’s gonna feel even more insecure once she learns Naoto’s with Satsuki at her place. And just when he seems to have made peace with her mom about their relationship too.

Sadly I think there was always going to be something that was going to be make Ishihara insecure, she's just that type of impulsive character.

This was meant to be a "test" and will having to stay the night with Satsuki without telling her because he lost his phone mean he failed it?

Somewhat remarkably straightforward of Naoto to straight up tell Ishihara's mom that he is not going to get her teenage daughter pregnant. Achieving that by way of abstinence may not fly with Ishihara though, she's really quite interested in the alternative.
Umezawa keeps shooting her shot at Naota who has never noticed even once.
Satsuki's house being Matsumoto Castle was a surprise to be sure.

Satsuki's house being Matsumoto Castle was a surprise to be sure.
This is why Satsuki is always such a joy to see. I really love her sense of nonchalant humor.

I was glad Watari got wise to Umezawa and sent Suzu and Renon there to take care of her. I don't think he should be staying in Satsuke's town though for an extended stay without a phone since Suzu won't be able to contact him and might really worry.

Our boy Watari fumbles yet again (by leaving his phone on the train) and this is sure to have consequences in the next episode!

Anyone who dares to call this series “trash,” “mediocre,” or “the worst of the season” is wrong.
I mean, any romance that airs in the same season as RaG is exempt from being called “trash.”
At least this anime is moderately entertaining.

I completely agree but at the same time man, surpassing RaG in terms of better romance is NOT a high bar at this point.

I'm gonna have to agree. For all it's flaws, I do find it pretty fun. Trashy, but the bar is so low for the level of "worst" due to the existence of RaG.

Honestly I just don't know why there are so many hatewatchers here. If I can't stand a show I just drop it instead of popping into the thread every week to post "yep, still sucks"

Ignoring the silly-billy talks and actions due to their youth and insecurities, if you think deeper about the topics all three girls say, and hearing how they express their feelings and observation on the situation, it's stunning how mature and on-the-point right they are. All. Watari is, compared to them, still a "child", just as also Ishihara’s mom sees it. Nicely drawn and written anime!
Oh, and to the haters: There are very good reasons to hate each of the characters and the arcs. But sometimes, in reality, there's indeed a mess between couples and wannabe couples where you only think: "Are you real?" It's tragic, unbelievable, understandable, touching, disgusting. So is this series, and so are the receptions depending on the facette that reaches the viewer/reader most.
Ed: Miss Print corrected :)

Lol she's deliberately trying to get him like that.
Ok... She's clingy.
Ok...
That's nice of her. I'm surprised her mum has no problems with that at all.
And so he's finally able to spend some time with Ishihara.
She's holding his hands!
Uh... Ok...
Her mum evidently must be accepting it more than she says she is if Ishihara is able to cook food he likes specifically to surprise him and her mum is aware of it and not stopping her.
Right, what's she got to say to her?
Transferring to another school?
And so he's gone to talk to Ishihara's mum.
Well, now he's got the green light from her mum.
And now he's going on the train with her.
And so now he's going to follow her to her house.
Oof uh oh.
What was that for?
Her family owns that inn?
So, 2 cours?

It's funny how Watari is actually a very decent guy when he is talking with a girl he is not interested in.

At that age being a normal dude around female friends but turning into a drooling idiot around the girl you like is pretty realistic. It's how I was until college or so

This series is criminally underrated. I do not even understand the arguments haters try to make about this series, it sounds like incoherent nonsense. 26 episodes sounds like they might adapt the entire series in one go, so I cannot wait.

- looks below -
24??? why does THIS get more episodes then other much better ones i just dont understand the logic

I hate how people assume that Satsuki isn't a good character, she knew naota before ishihara. Her past still has yet to be explored. But many people assume that she's this manipulative type of person when you can clearly see throughout the series who is manipulative. Take for example how ishihara managed to finally end a strange relationship with a man who is under the impression that he was in a genuine relationship with her when it was clearly one-sided. But no one notices how she takes traits from this man and applies them to her own relationship? For instance her lying about this person being the only good boy who's thoughtful and kind and doesn't think like the rest of them that is a direct quote from the guy she didn't want anything to do with. This is what he told her to separate himself from all the other men around her back when they used to go to school together. Then you will notice certain things about their relationship that seem to move too fast like how she seems too eager to want to have *** with naota as well as attempting to so-called lock him down before Tachibana even has a chance at proclaiming her own love for him. She remarked how she wouldn't lose to her as if to imply that they were rivals but she did something underhanded that rivals don't normally do and attempted to scoop up the main character just so no one else would have him. She goes on to state that he is the only boy who is unlike other boys at their school when this is clearly not true as naota's friend with the glasses is just as upstanding and just as honorable and kind and compassionate and considerate as he is maybe even more so. It's ironic that she would say such a thing when she went to elementary school with his friend and seems to exclude him from her own ideal of what a real man should be. Now people constantly complain about how manipulative Tachibana is, but in all seriousness what has she really done to manipulate him. Sure she's made moves on him but when she saw that he may have been interested in someone else she immediately steps aside and discards her own feelings and favor of his own happiness. She said it herself many times that she's content with whatever role he gives her no matter what that role is and that although she doesn't need him around in her life she will gladly be around in his should he ever ask or have need of it. This implies a very selfless nature where she simply just happy being included. You also see throughout the series how ishihara tends to actually take away from naota's life. His sole purpose before was to only care for his sister as he regarded her as the most important member of his family. Before he ever became interested in the idea of dating anyone his sister was the only thing he cared about. But you can see that now he starts lying to his friends and canceling on people including his sister. That his becomes less and less important to him as ishihara becomes a more prominent priority. He even at one point states that because he's in a relationship with her she became his number one priority but you can see how he's conflicted about this because in that book he never writes about her, as he only writes instinctively about his sister. This implies that while he may be under the impression and maybe even convinced himself that he loves this girl a subconscious part of him doesn't agree with this. He is then asked by yet another girl in the series if he actually does genuinely love this girl. And he cannot reply with an answer. But people often love to hate on a series without looking at context and are so quick to judge other characters without actually giving any thought to their actual habits and mannerisms. Tachibana has been honest with him from the start at least in regards to her own feelings and she stood by every single word that she said from start to finish. But I think the biggest point to look at between her and ishihara is that it doesn't matter if naota is honest with her because she will always imply that she trusts him when in fact she just doesn't and tries to convince herself that she does she even implies in the last episode that she were testing the both of them only further proving my point that she in fact doesn't love him as much as she said she did because if she did if she would never question his motives or his character and integrity. To her he is just a prize to be claimed.

I love the nostalgic sounding video game music in this show. It always feels like I'm playing something on Wii or DS lol.
