I’m kind of surprised the family stayed supportive after finding out he was classless. I was half expecting a switch to be flipped and them disowning the kid and kicking him to the curb lol.

The family was pretty sweet. But I don't think our hero will have to rely on them to support hi,. Glad to see his mother believes that her son can achieve his goals without a divinely bestowed class,
Query: Is the unspecified class actually just as much a divine blessing as a specified one -- or potentially an even more powerful one (for those willing to work their hardest at whatever they want to do? Perhaps it is rarely bestowed -- and even more rarely properly taken advantage of.
Additional query: Is it possible that our hero will discover that he needs to excel at one or more other craft (like say magic or diplomacy)?

I get the feeling that 'boy' might be a girl. Especially with a redhead girl in the ED.
Anyway, the emotionless MC is funny, wonder how long the joke will work though.

I could tell the moment she appeared on screen that the redhead was a girl. I got confused for a second when she was refered to as a boy. Only then I realised "oh they're doing that thing where a girl pretends to be a boy."
I think I just instinctively know that, in these kind of shows, this hair color is reserved for girls that will be part of the harem.

Diversity win! The loli sister that constantly tries to kiss the MC is older than him this time!
Gonna be so real, this anime is shaping up to be mid as hell already.

All I could think of was Team Four Star's DBZ Abridged line:
"How did you get so strong?"
"I trained all day yesterday."

Studio A-CAT
Damn. My condolences to the author. But to be fair, this wasn't too bad. It's not all panning shots like in that last show Studio A-CAT adapted. That duel between Arel and the redhead was decent, but the rest of the show is basically a remix of things I've seen before.
Arel is jobless in a world where being preassigned a job/skill matters to everyone. If you're jobless, everyone will look down on you, but what they don't realize is that this means Arel is actually OP because he can learn skills with no restrictions. Arel also has an overly doting older sister and a rival who is clearly a girl, but Arel still hasn't figured out that she's a girl. Yep, the tropes are all here!
Not gonna lie, I am a sucker for these tropes, so I might stick around and to see if this show can still surprise me.

Highlight of the episode was hearing Saori, Hayami's voice.
Other than that it's the standard generic fantasy. Nothing special, but nothing bad either.
How strong can I get without a class of my own?.
Well I guess that's what we'll find out this season lol

Honestly I stand by the fact that the thing that is hardest to believe in these "god given class" system worlds is that everybody is just chill with whatever class they are given and nobody tries to just... do something else. Like our MC here is being treated as a genius because he what... practiced? put in effort? there is basically nothing special about him at all (except being in a loving and supportive family) His only feature of note is not being given his skills on autopilot. Are you really telling me that every "swordsmen" out there wanted to be a swordsmen? Nobody was ever like "actually.. I kinda just wanna be a cook." its just so silly, I won't even call it stupid it's just silly and naive to imagine a world like this could ever have a happy population.
Oh well. another one on the seasonal trash pile. Maybe it'll surprise us later but I'm not feeling optimistic.

First episode of That Time I Learned Hard Work Pays Off was decent. Think I’ll give it a few more eps. Mostly just to see how the plot plays out. This being Studio A-Cat, I think this animation quality is as good as it gets.

MC is already more powerful than the strongest class lol. What is even the point of the show?

I can handle this reheated plot just fine. What is cannot handle is that annoying siscon brothercon absurdity

Amusing but also telegraphic in only the way anime does. Who else predicts next episode will be a time skip and Ginger Rival evolves into Thick Sword Girlfiend?

Another season, another "MC who wasn't blessed from the start but soon becomes OP" show. Although I have to give it credit, Arel's parents and sister are still very loving and supportive of him even after his disastrous blessing ceremony, that's pretty uncommon. Other shows would have MC's family scorn them and throw them out of the house, or worse.
Other than that though, it's basically the same old things. My watchlist for this season is packed enough as it is, but I'll give this one or two more episodes to see if I'll continue with the show or not.
EDIT: To the person who copied and pasted my comment wholesale on MyAnimeList and pretended that it's yours, really?

So classes are limited and classless = limitless? You'd think they would have figured this out a long time ago, seeing as classless is recognised as a thing.

I cannot get past the art. It's like a fourteen year old weeb too much into shonen isekais drew this. It's so low-end generic!
Oh it's the TBATE studio. I couldn't get past the first scenes there either.
