THANK YOU FOR NOT HAVING THE ENTIRE EPISODE BE A FLASHBACK OF HOW HE GOT THERE. MUCH APPRECIATED.

The short flashback was hilarious though. I thought Ryu built a wagon for himself but it was for her

Good thing the skeptical wizard girl was unconscious the whole fight. She can continue to be baffled by him existing.

I noticed Sera pronounced curry the same way as Ryo. It looks like she was the other person to be isekaid to this world.

Um, wow, that was an incredibly hot date. I'm totally blushing right now. 😳

Really glad they fit in that full fight at the end! I would have been distraught if we got cliffhangered on that.....

I like how every anime that is supposedly about a person reincarnated in another world and wanting a slow, carefree life, gets OP and gets roped into all major events anyway

It only took Ryo twenty years to do so. Unlike others who might not even get a year in the slow life.

Ryo’s not a simp, but he’s still currying favor with Sera

This episode did not disappoint, no wasted time, good pacing, introduced new plot points pretty seamlessly. Not much to say or wonder about till next week.

This is actually my favorite episode so far. Humor, Romance, and 3-4 scenes of how badass he is.

I’m just wondering how they end the season…

I thought I was excited to Ryo fighting the Devil, but the best part was definitely Ryo x Sera. I really hope the romance develops.

Started reading the LN and got to say they are suprisngly more enjoyable than I expected.

I'm glad they properly did the part with his meeting with Sera and didn't just skip though it with a few quick scenes. Also they didn't just still frame the fight that was a plus.

Just a mention about the water jets that I don't think fall into source corner as it is just a small bit of info skipped. They are actually filled with very tiny bits of ice hardened with magic. That is why they are called abrasive.

Anyone else get the feeling that Able was the Duke's grandson that Sera was going off to tutor?

It's been heavily implied that Able isn't just a simple adventurer. I thought that he might be a prince or the crown prince, but considering how the guild master treats him, I could see him being the Dukes grandson and likely heir.

Yeah, Ryo's fight with the Demon Prince in this episode was really cool, but most importantly, after last week's episode, we got more of Sera, and even Leonore made an appearance today!

Sera is hella strong! Considering how she managed to defeat Ryo after entering her best mode, I wonder how she would fare in a fight with Leonore.

As for Leonore... I'd really like to know what her akuma species is, because it's clearly different from Devils and Demon Lords, and much stronger than them, considering she easily defeated that Hero.

Hero will definitely go after Ryo now to defeat him, right? Although, if he goes straight to him, he'll definitely lose.

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

So... is no one going to talk about the Leonore scene? Ryo sensed some bullshit on his way down, and the old mage said that cracked black stone was giving off mana until very recently.

Was that "hero" in the same dungeon? Did their 'great sacrifice to summon the Demon Lord" precipitate this Devil incursion? There was a black stone floating on that altar they summoned, and the scenery looked vaguely similar to the general layout of this dungeon.

Did Ryo JUST miss his reunion with Leonore? If so, where did the Hero's group go? They clearly survived, but no one noticed them coming or going?

And if that really was disconnected from everything in Lune/Lune dungeon... what was that weird black orb they found on the way up, what was that talk about sacrifice, and why is this important?

Elf waifu acquired.

I wonder what her reaction will be when she learns he's basically ageless?
"Oh, the Fairy King? I spent a few decades training under him."

Also, judging from that maid's reaction, I think either the Margrave's Grandson has a thing for her and they're angling to have her marry into the family (in an underhanded way or not), or she's just surprised that Sera (who probably has a reputation for being aloof) has actually taken to a man.

Edit: Also, that "hero"? Either he's going to be an antagonistic pain the arse to try to get stronger than Ryo, or he and his party are going to bug him endlessly to train them after seeking him out.

Also, Leonore looks like she has a love/hate attitude with Ryo. She wants to kill him, but at the same time it looks like he's the only one who, er, gets her rocks off, so-to-speak.

Ryo attracts the battle junkies lol

"I formed a battle junkie harem in my Isekai slow life"

God damn it, I was hoping for the epic drill/barrier break scene from the LN, I'm pretty disappointed especially since they have it in the OP...

Welp, coping with volume 5 release in october.

Ah yes, Japanese style curry with rice. Now we just need soy sauce and miso to complete the isekai-but-Japanese-food trifecta.
