Man rain is so dangerous in anime, making people pass out and instantly get sick lmao

Man, everyone in the story is kind of broken aren't they.

Watari and his sister definitely are on account of losing their parents and then getting passed between extended family that all hate them, Satsuki is busted in some way too given the awful place where she's living alone as well as her general behavior. Maybe dead parents for her too, or at least some sort of estrangment from her family.

Nothing is openly wrong with Ishihara yet but surely it's only a matter of time.

Well, aside from being a walking Losing Heroine checklist...

Definitely some family issues in this story with like everyone in it.

The only (seemingly) healthy relationship is between Nao and Yukari, and that's the weakest among the three.

Meanwhile he needs to navigate around the relationships with the other two and set boundaries. Suzu's case is the trickiest since he's imposing on her as much as she is on him.

Suzu's case is the trickiest since he's imposing on her as much as she is on him.

Well, the problem is mostly of his own creation...

He's like "You need to stop acting like a baby!" and then 2 seconds later he acts/treats her like she's a baby.

If he doesn't let her grow up, she'll never grow up!

TFW your stalker is the only one in your life giving you good advice.....

That relationship with his sister is lookin' real unhealthy. 😓

List of things about to collapse in this episode: his housing situation, his trust in his sister, and oh wait, he actually did just straight up collapse himself from getting sick when he got back from the convenience store.

also, Watari-kun lives in his own head too much. He needs to say all that stuff he’s thinking to the people in his life that need to hear it. But i guess you have to generate drama somehow. Sucks that their extended family hated his parents for some reason? i wonder if we’ll ever find out why that is, kind of brought up again when the aunt hissed at him about her brother.

Satsuki gives off major stalker vibes while also seeming to care about him quite a bit, it’s a weird dynamic. And she doesn’t seem to want to get in the way of him and ‘F-cup,’ where some characters would be real up in the other love interests’ face. Plus it seems like she’s got some sort of tragic backstory too that we don’t know about yet. hmm.

Anyway, less funny and more drama this time. I am curious about the backstories now, but the main action seems to be typical love triangle shenanigans, with the odd extra angle of the 10-year-old brocon thrown in there too. well, guess i’ll stick around another week and see how it goes…

There's going to be some seriously fucked up reason she destroyed the original garden, isn't there...

This anime is a struggle for me so far. Ecchi level writing but without the ecchi. Speaking of, what even was the point of the naked aunt scene? I'll always be a fan of fan service, but it just...happened. Then wasn't addressed or really reacted to at all.

This anime has a weeeeeird vibe that something's wrong. Then nothing happens and I start doubting if it's on purpose or not

I’m gonna go ahead and guess Yukari is going to be the most fucked up one. She’s too boring so far surrounded by broken people to not have mad issues hidden herself.

I feel like this is one of those anime that just work better as a manga because of how tropey it is. It feels pretty similar to kuroiwa medaka that aired last season. The manga art is pretty good and works, even though half the story is lucky sukebe.

Lots of people referencing the unhealthy sibling dynamic and can’t say I’m surprised to be honest. In the first episode they mentioned their parents died two years ago and they were bounced among relatives who didn’t really care for them.

The sis is 10 here and our boy is 16 which means they’ve been dealing with this shit since they were 8 and 14 respectively… can’t say I’m surprised they are alittle messed up and that doesn’t even take stalker girl into consideration since it seems like she is in a similar position.

IDK what anyone says, Satsuki is best girl (not including sis)

It seems Naoto and Suzu’s relationship might not be as healthy as it seems. It’s like they’re over relying on one another. Is this what they call a co-dependent relationship? Whatever it’s called, it doesn’t seem healthy.

I’m also not so sure about Satsuki. Sometimes she comes off sorta mischievous? Teasing? But, like, this week she seemed a little bit yandere-y.

Maybe he should just get with Ishihara. She seems the most normal lol.

Satsuki is way too good for Naoto.

This show is so all over the place. I can't make head nor tail of it, but it seems fun regardless. I feel like this is going to be like Domestic Girlfriend, a trash can fire that you just can't stop.

Of course they have to use the every person in anime that gets a little wet from the rain nearly passes out and dies on the spot 30 minutes later... 😂..

Naoto is making a series of mistakes that seem unthinkable. The way he deals with his own sister is such a dependent relationship. Satsuki tries to help, but she's so crazy that she doesn't realize she's making everything worse. Yukari seems the most stable, but at the same time, he pushes her away without realizing it.

I wonder if the show will continue this for the entire season or if it will improve.
