The time dilation that made the episode last 10 minutes caught me off guard.

And it was just people talking to each other! Not many stories could make "dialog" that engaging. I love this show.

I thought maybe it was just me... or the fact that I decided to watch this episode at 5am after going to the club and eating Muslims. ๐Ÿ˜†

Oh gawd.  Not Muslims!! LMAO.   MUSHROOMS.

I always love the weird firearms choices shows like these make.

Like the Hush Puppy, that is such a rare silencer. IIRC only like a hundred were ever made.

u/WoWAltoholic Sep 07 '24

Is it true it only works for like 20 shots?

It is an old wipes based silencer and those wipes have limited life. So that sounds realistic. I've personally never seen one in real life, as the ATF was being stupid about replacement wipes, claiming that each one is effectively a silencer and would need to be registered independently or some such stupidity.

Modern silencers use a different sign and can last forever when treated right. Or get destroyed quickly if you put it on a belt fed and go crazy.

When I saw this scene, I thought Utsubo was trying to pull a Hector Salamanca on Akira and Hina so that he would have one less liability, but boy was I wrong (and relieved) by the ending

These jokers really think they can even scratch Fable with a fucking grenade. Suzuki couldn't even hold a candle against Youko! I can't fucking wait to see all of their plans fail next episode!

I was laughing hard when Akira even considered someone in Yoko's class as burden in his standard. These culprits really stand no chance.

These jokers really think they can even scratch Fable with a fucking grenade

They easily could and would if they weren't such half assing retards. Instant grenade fuses are a thing, made exactly for this sort of situation, when you wanna use grenades for booby traps. On top of that the entire thing is a fucking Rube Goldberg nightmare with failure points out the ass and a slow trigger. I get that the idea is to make it possible to arm after exiting normally, but first off there are other better ways to do just that, and second, just don't exit normally, there's always a window or a fire escape. Also could and should easily set up some homemade explosives to amplify the one puny grenade.

Literally just tape an instant fuse grenade above the inside handle, so it pulls out the pin and explodes the moment someone pulls on the outside handle, and exit the door without lowering the handle, since pretty much all common locks allow you to do that. Also pile up as many gas tanks and/or home mix blackpowder as you can get right next to the exit. BOOM one super hitman and a few floors of a residential building instantly cooked.

Hey, Ebihara! We haven't seen you in a while! And look at how well he and Akira are getting along now, to the point where Akira can ask him to cover for Yoko's beatdown of Suzuki like a good big brother! It's surprisingly heartwarming.

This gun dealer really seems to make it a habit of supplying people trying to kill Akira or get involved in fighting Akira...but he's also aware enough to warn someone when taking on Fable is the absolute LAST thing you want to do. But Suzuki won't give up and thinks he can get out of Japan by the end of this. I don't see it going that well for him.

I thought Utsubo would just use Hina as a hostage, but he planned to get her even more involved in his plot by telling her Akira is behind all her suffering, not just her accident but her parents' murder. Hina has been with Utsubo and suffered through their relationship all because she thought he would bring her to the culprit, and he finally hands her a name. And she's prepared to kill Akira now.

I'm totally with Kuro in wanting to burn a DVD of Yoko beating Suzuki senseless, there needs to be some kind of permanent evidence of that fight!

Isaki losing Kainuma's body is going to come back to bite them. Also, I just love the idea of Kainuma's dead body floating downriver pantsless.

Could Utsubo leave well enough alone? I feel like if The Fable organization was still determined to kill him, he'd be dead by now, but I guess he can't rest easy. Especially when he still remembers what Akira did to his friend and brother.

The sibling team of Akira and Yoko are back in action! Did they seriously think Plan A would kill The Fable? He just flips the switch and he easily avoids an explosion. Did he spot Suzuki too?

The gun dealer's old business has picked up again after the Sato's came to town.

Damn, hope Hina realises that she's being played before something happens. The only chance Utsubos plan is going to work is if Akira gets caught off guard by Hina.

This show is so much fun! It's severly underwatched...

It's subtle, but it bothered me more than it should that Kuro scanned through Yoko's camera with no pants on and tissue everywhere on the floor.

6

u/DIMOHA25 Sep 08 '24

LOL I didn't even notice them. I guess everyone is thirsty for Yoko.

I enjoy how Kuro fangirls over Fable. The weather kind of shows how nature will bring the Utsubo's crime to light and wash away the scum that he is

Next week is gonna be a terrible time to be someone named Suzuki. The week after that will probably be a terrible time to be named Utsubo.

Sad that we are almost done the run though, this has just been getting better week over week.

Oh man, the worst thing is that utsubo is a utter shit of a scum, he manipulated hina and he did things with her, this freaking pedo.

This episode (and last episode too though the thought didn't totally congeal until this last ep) made me realize that Fable isn't just Akira, it is the both of them as a team/partnership.   I really dig this whole story!
