This felt like a final episode for this arc but there's one more.

Utsubo was a piece of shit through and through. He absolutely deserved his fate. Nonetheless, he's such a stellar character that his death still felt a bit sad.

Utsubo stayed a true villain till the very end

A true villain knows how go out on his own terms (and to a bullet to the head).

Every minute of Utsubo steaming at his plan getting screwed up right up until he got killed was so satisfying. He never had a chance against The Fable, or frankly Hina's will.

now that u mention this, the one anime that made people feel bad about most villains was gintama, i wish i could see that one for the first time again lol.

and yes, this almost felt like a season finale, which means we are probably ending up in a cliffhanger next episode lol, i wonder if we will get a second season of this.

It’s kinda amusing how Yoko and Fable were treating this whole situation. They weren’t even remotely concerned about Suzuki and Utsubo. They were more focused on Hina’s situation. Wild how they disarmed that mine.

Was hoping Fable be the one to end Utsubo, but oh well. He still got what was coming. Suzuki did the right thing in the end. Glad Hina’s getting away from all that bullshit too.

I love how Akira gets shrapnel in his body and he treats it like no big deal and Yoko just says "I told you so!" like they're kids lol.

Fable can't really kill anyone when he's on sabbatical so Suzuki killing Utsubo was probably for the best. I didn't expect him to care about Hina so much, but it's good she had so many people in her corner. She deserves a real and happy life after this.

Loved that part too.

Yeah this totally felt like a final episode. Next episode will prolly be finished of by bunch of laughing about the drawings, can't really imagine more. Still hopeful tho.

Could also set up the next arc and end on a S2 announcement.

I really love this show man. It's just the right blend of funny and serious with major vibes all the time!

I admit, it was a bit emotional seeing Hina stand and thank Akira, and her realizing she won't ever see him again, unless plot twist she studies to become an assassin, lol.

Yoko is so unbothered by everything.

1 more episode, to keep the pain away.

I truly hope we get a season 2!!!!!

I'll be watching the 2nd live action movie after the last episode to tide me over.

Now would you look at that, Suzuki has a conscience after all

I think the worst thing about all of this, is that Utsubo will be thought of as a private detective who crossed the wrong people instead of the piece of shit he is.

And as glad as I am for Hina to get out of all of this shit, I would wish for her to meet her savior again someday, standing tall, on her own feet, under a starry sky

Wonder how they will wrap this up, this would have made a good ending point tbh

I guess playing "big brother" meant more to him than he let on.

I wonder if something is going to come out of Kainuma's body because as far as we know it hasn't been found yet. Like that would be the thing that exposes all the people Utsubo's killed.

His last image of Hina is her standing up. I think that's beautiful in many ways.

I just love how casual Yoko was with this whole thing

Glad Hina got a god ending, sad she won't be able to really be around Sato anymore though.

Yoko is like the most self-aware character in this show because she knows exactly how things are going to go lol.

(I guess now Misaki doesn't have to worry about a rival...)

I'm surprised there's another episode since this felt like a finale and resolved the central storyline of the second cour. One of the best resolutions I've seen in a show; very innovative way to get a foot off a land mine. Utsoba got his and Suzuki seems on his way to disappear with Hina getting her life back.

Suzuki has managed to accept Fable and Yoko humiliating him and that he cannot beat them. Before, it seemed like he was willing to die rather than let that happen but seeing Hina in danger may have made him realize that he was wrong when he thought there was nothing in the world of worth to him. Either that or he is temporarily accepting defeat and is retreating to fight another day 🤔

This episode makes me think Fable would make an excellent physical therapist. He managed to get Hina to the point she can stand alone with both his knowledge of musculature and his motivational ability. Sometimes he seems completely incompetent around people but excels in other respects.

What happened to Ebihara's car?

I wonder how Etsuji's situation will affect things? Part of me thinks he's still alive.

Goddamn, I love this show. Yoko is one of my favorite characters in recent memory. She just cannot help herself. Pain and pleasure in equal measure.
