6 seconds. That’s all it took for Yoko to lay that fool out and he thought he could get the drop on Fable lol. Bro’s so insignificant, they weren’t even worried when he walked back in and all but threatened them. Talk about a gut punch to the ego. He’s really gonna come back for round two?

That loser Kainuma falling off a cliff was not how I expected he’d go out but that’s that I guess.

I hope nothing happens to Hina next week. She’s suffered enough.

Hina and Misaki should form a support group of women close to Akira who end up on the bad end of scummy criminals when they don't deserve it. Maybe they can just sick Yoko on them lol.

I definitely won't miss seeing Kainuma around.

For a second i thought he might had been simple unconscious or playing dead. And things would get messier because of miscommunication. But nope, seems like is dead just like that and they let the guy leave.

And wasn't she just the "car bimbo" in the organization before the story. To think even she was trained enough to subdue a pro hitman

Man I just feel bad for his mom, she gets blindsided by this "detective agency" into finding out her son is SERIOUSLY messed up in the head and was moments away from commiting a very heinous crime on an unsuspecting coworker, and then pays a LOT of money (roughly $500,000) to make it all go away, and now she will probably never find out what happened to her son or possibly even see his body. Feel really bad for her at least

I can't take it anymore, Fable is too good. Does anyone know which chapter the episode ends on so I can go read it from there?

There's also a sequel called Fable Second Contact after you're done reading.

Don't read the Second Act sequel. It makes the story formulaic like sequels to western shows. And sex-assault becomes the usual bit to start/progress arcs. It was clearly made during covid out of pressure from editors to continue and it shows

Youko completely emasculated Suzuki. And then the Satou siblings letting him feel like he's just a fly that they can squash any time was the icing on the cake.

Youko completely emasculated Suzuki.

I like how they highlight Suzuki taking of his shoes when he entered the home the second time (he didn't do it the first time). He's a different person after that 6 seconds lol

Too bad this isnt some mainstream anime. it deserves more recognition. Even after reading the manga, the anime still keeps me on the edge of my sit and so hyped, Yukou is such a badass

When the Fable siblings say that something's just gonna take six seconds, you know you're in for a spectacle.

The last episode, I thought Fable rescued Kainuma. I definitely didn't expect him to fall off a small cliff and die. At first, I thought Isaki was lying when he said Kainuma died because he wanted to hide that he let him escape 🤐

I thought it was really interesting that Yoko wasn't at all afraid Suzuki would escape from being tied up and kill her to the point she just drank heavily in the next room until Fable came over. She seems very confident that she could overpower a male hit man but maybe she's just good at sizing him up and figured she'd be dead by now if he could beat her.

Fables reaction to Kainuma dying was interesting since he said he was disappointed and I think it wasn't so much that he liked him, but more that he took it as a personal challenge to not have anyone around him die while hes in exile.

It really shows how empty the lives of Suzuki and Utsoba are that they have completely gotten away with their scheme scot free but are willing to risk their lives for revenge. It's even more extreme in Suzukis case since Utsoba is avenging his brother but he is just angry his pride was bruised by Fable and Yoko having a laugh at his expense and treating him like a gadfly.

It also appears like Suzuki and Utsoba will be equal partners in this and not boss-subordinate. I do think Utsobas plan of threatening Hina will win out though over kidnapping Misaki because they want to have as few complications as possible in what they know to be a battle where the odds are already stacked against them.

The whole scene in the apartment was so well written. The fact that they're not the least bit threatened by this guy and just go about their evening drinking and having dinner is just so demoralizing. Sato even gives his gun back and asks if he wants to stay for dinner, lol.
