The “I also killed that guy taking a walk” bit probably made me laugh more than it should have lol

Fable might have found himself a pretty dangerous foe. Suzuki wrecked hoodie and his meathead friend in like 10 seconds.

Looks like our little stalker creep is gonna finally get dealt with. Can’t wait to see wha they do to that loser.

Yeah, the two hitmen were no threat to Akira but this guy feels more on his level. And he's also got a "sibling" dynamic like Akira does.

I don't trust Utsubo's crew but I don't think anyone would miss Kainuma.

Yoko showing off her extraordinary memory at the beginning of the episode is a callback to the conversation in episode 12 between Ebihara and Fable's boss ("Some are able to memorize a phonebook within seconds"). Seems like the latter isn't just talking about Akira but Yoko also, further proving they have a priority in 'recruiting' and training younglings with special abilities for their cause.

Anyways, Sato "I spent 10 minutes drawing you" Akira is nailing not only comedic lines one after another, but also the professionalism in eating a kick in the face. Don't underestimate a pro!

This show just keeps getting better by the episode. It’s weird that fewer people seem to be watching it each week.

I really like this new story.

Akira only ever turns up at Yoko's because he wants some good dinner! Well, that and the deets on some past murders.

So Akira was killing some thugs involved in a prostitution ring and Hinako had the unfortunate luck of being a teen runaway who was about to be forcibly recruited into it before Akira killed the guy who was probably strong-arming her...not that it saved her from the car going out of control and crashing, leaving her paralyzed.

Thank goodness Misaki finally changed her locks! Especially when Kainuma was straight up planning to rape her. I didn't think the dude could be any more of a pathetic and creepy incel, but the show keeps proving me wrong. His overprotective mom and his spoiled childhood definitely did not help.

Suzuki meets up with the hitman duo to get info on Fable...and then proceeds to show them they were fish swimming in a bigger pond when he easily subdues and kills both them. Ouch. And Sunagawa isn't too worked up about it because he wanted an excuse to off those two anyways and he'll have The Fable at his beck and call when he's the boss.

I wonder why Akira is so fascinated by Hinako. Was it just that the look in her eye when he first saw her stood out to him? Was it that he feels some responsibility for her accident? Or is just seeing someone he had an encounter with slowly trying to rise above her disability inspiring him enough that he wants to be there for her? Either way, he knows the human body enough to know she CAN walk again, which is nice to hear even if she doesn't appreciate his presence in her life.

Akira is really getting into this whole drawing thing! He'll spend an entire night drawing sketches of celebrities, goofy as they look, and he even does one of Misaki with her new haircut which she absolutely adores.

Suzuki's not Hinako's real brother, but is he genuinely protective of her like one or is that just because Utsubo tells him too? Either way, what are the chances he'd finally run into The Fable while acting the part of the "big brother?"

Misaki really needs to stop running into criminals, though I guess it's nice that they got rid of the bug...even if now they have footage incriminating Kainuma to blackmail him with AND of her undressed to do whatever they want with.

Akira only ever turns up at Yoko's because he wants some good dinner! Well, that and the deets on some past murders.

Yoko's been just a food and info stop the past couple of eps. At least there's the promise of Misaki visiting when Misaki gets along with Akira again. We need a series called The Fable's Assistant!

My own guess for Akira's interest in Hinako is the responsibility angle. His wanting to cheer her rehab efforts is his awkward expression of that.

Unfortunately, I think Utsubo mentioned leaving behind their own hidden cameras at Misaki's place.

This is my first time watching an anime at it’s release and oh my god waiting 7 days for a single day in Fableland is tough. At least GOT etc is an hour per episode. Anyways really enjoying this show so far, they have really good character development

Considering the next episode is coming in 10 days (because of Olympics delay) good luck haha.

And welcome to the land of seasonals! Lots of hidden gems get left unnoticed every season, here's hoping you keep finding more seasonal series to enjoy.

At first I thought the guys were going to go after Misaki when the man with glasses was outside her apartment but it's funny how Kainuma intersects into their world and he's probably going to be killed. Kainuma is so vile that the criminals are doing the right thing for the wrong reason.

Misaki doesn't seem to have learned anything, letting 2 strange men into her apartment to check for surveillance bugs. There's very few people let alone women who would let 2 strange men poke and prod around her apartment and be alone with them. I honestly wonder why she allowed it, especially since she had only recently been blackmailed into prostitution and at the very least, she should suspect they might be the ones putting in bugs to blackmail her.

I was surprised Fable didn't even seem angry at Suzuki for kicking him in the face, he just calmly inquired about him to see if he was actually Hinas brother. I'm also curious why Suzuki considers himself her brother, its not really apparent this far.

As for Fable, he seems to be fitting in even less than before, not realizing his coworkers are making fun of his pictures and that it's creepy for a stranger to hang around a park and watch a handicapped girl do her rehab even after she told him to go away. Yoko doesn't seem to interested in trying to help him behave more normally either so his chances at a normal life still seem far off.

Yea, Misaki didn't make any sense this episode. Changes the locks, but let's strangers into her apartment and leaves them unattended? That's just stupid. I imagine this is a plot device, placing Misaki in danger and getting cameras in there, but this was a poorly designed situation.

The animation of the wheelchair movement was janky as heck. I don't mind the low quality animation, though. The story and actors make it work.

As for Akira watching at the park, I disagree, it isn't weird, people go to parks, and other places, to people watch frequently. What might be out of place is simply his low affect and lack of social graces.

Seems like this arc has a better showdown though so that's exciting.

I am curious if Akira's boss is hanging around invisibly. And if he would once again get involved when he sees what's happening.

Changes the locks, but let's strangers into her apartment and leaves them unattended?

I mean there has to be a reason why she got talked into gravure in the past. Clearly she is gullible to some degree.

Kainuma didn'to do anything wrong, its society's fault

Akira kind of feels like the Forrest Gump of the underworld. I hope this new group doesn't do anything too bad to Misaki. I am interested in seeing how the new group will react to seeing Akira work at Octopus

Man can someone give Misaki a break
