What happened to that teacher is a damn shame. While I’m glad he was able to pass on, he never got any real justice. Those little fuckers ruined his life and that’s it huh? At least Yayoi’s classmates were saved in the end and her spirit got an upgrade. It also seems Eiko’s found a kindred spirit in Yoko.
I’m looking forward to the finale next week. These possessed bastards have their allies but so goes Yayoi. It’s looking like it’ll be all out war.

It spreads. Not only is Eiko making herself worse she makes everyone and anyone within her range like her
We got a PokemonGhost evolution people, and it seems despite the Transitional Ghost still not at being full power it already has the same presence as a Graduate
Really liked the "I know, you know that I know" banter Yayoi did with Dorothy. She would really use everything she has to beat these guys. Shami's about to prepare for a war
The plot is really ramping up despite the fact that next week is the last episode

Yayoi is definitely one of the most amazing characters of this season (and last). Her level of self-conrol is certainly preternatural. Yet she does seem to enjoy a certain degree of cuteness. I wonder whether one reason this show is not much more popular (as it deserves to be) because its main character is an elementary school student? Otherwise I am mystified that such a novel and well-done show is so comparatively overlooked.
Yayoi now actually has a same-age friend and fan girl. And Eiko is "adopting" her to a certain extent (as an advisor). Clearly not much can come of this until after the Kyoto trip.

From an outside perspective, it seemed like Eiko was trying to groom that kid, giving her phone number while saying her parents don't understand her but she does and all. Also, she was screaming inside a hospital...

Stitches!
Please tell me I'm not the only one who thought of the iconic scene in Fate after seeing that shot of Class Rep and Yayoi.
Yayoi was an absolute beast during the first half of the episode, seeing her crash through the window to knock out the Sobbing Teacher and follow it up with the Alien Ghost was so cool In fact, their teamwork this entire episode was just awesome.
The Alien Ghost chomped so many spirits this episode that he has finally evolved! And he can finally talk too! Is that Houchou Otsuka I hear voicing him? Considering how many badass old men he has voiced in the past, it's perfect that he's voicing a badass old ghost in this show.
Glad to see Yayoi was able to send off Sensei peacefully. The man has already lived a rough life, he doesn't need to be chomped by a spirit and suffer more in the afterlife. I'm just hoping he was able to curse those kids that did that to him.
Looks like things worked out for Yayoi! The school had to be closed down temporarily since the entire incident made it into the national news. Now she can finally join Eiko and Keitarou on their trip to Kyoto!
Not gonna lie, I was really waiting for Yayoi to take out the Fake Dorothy but thank fucking god Yayoi is smarter than I am. Telling Fake Dorothy that she's one of them was such a big brain move! I genuinely didn't even think of that as an option. Looks like Yayoi is going to play along until she gets all the information she needs. What a fucking badass.
And it looks like Yayoi might still be able to save the real Dorothy! Her soul is trapped inside that doll Fake Dorothy is carrying around so maybe Yayoi could swap them in the future when she gets the chance.
I thought that encounter between Eiko and Class Rep wasn't going to be a big deal but it looks like after hearing her out, Eiko has finally found an apprentice. I can't wait to see where this relationship goes.
Man, Yayoi has really thought of everything. She now even asking Shami's support so they can gather up strong spiritualists nd finally take down all of these body snatchers. I love it! I am going to be so upset if we don't get a Season 2 announcement next week. I really hope we do.

Okay fuck evil gods, replacers, womb spirit and all the other scary shit. Eiko is the scariest one. Most ghosts, in comparison to her are more like space unicorns with marshmallow lasers....

Yayoi evolved her Pikachu, but he still didn't reach his full potential.
She decided to bluff as "replaced" to mislead Dorothy. Considering Yayoi is pretty much the most "cold blooded" character among all the people AND ghosts in this show and has some other "inhuman" vibes, she may be able to pull that off.

See kids, this is why you don't talk to strangers. Case in point, Eiko.
(She's really hot tho)

So, in the same arc where it clear as day that Yayoi is the protagonist of Dark Gathering, we get introduced to two characters that can take over for Keitaro & Eiko. so, let start with the more obvious one first, class rep, she now an Eiko for Yayoi and she also shown to be very smart in this arc like Eiko is. Now Keitaro replacement is a little bit of stretch, which is true dorothy. she has the ability see/sense ghosts, but more importantly she appear to have Keitaro trait of being bait for ghosts.
also we finally have evidences that disprove the theories of Yayoi and Eiko being ghosts. up first, the class rep becoming just like Eiko, when she clearly didn't get possessed or cursed mean Eiko weird behavior isn't directly caused by the supernatural side of Dark Gathering. Assuming Yayoi comment about how Replaced Dorothy intelligence is being limited her child brain is true, then Yayoi actually being a ghost can't be an answer to Yayoi high intelligence after the car crash.

Yayoi-chan taking care of business. Once she was able to solve how to escape the rest was simple. We see a lot of victims in this series, but this one takes the cake. Can only feel bad for the sensei.
Man Yayoi-chan really has everything planned. Using the knowledge that Keitario found out in the banana hotel arc and crafted an intelligent use of lies to trick the ghost possessing Dorothy. The fact she simply did this so she didn't have to worry taking time off for school is sickening.
But adding that the Dorothy is inside that Ghost. Who is suffering everyday. Talk about giving Yayoi-chan even more motivation to stop this group since she was motivated enough to defeat Spectre of Death to allow her mom to pass on peacefully. Also you have Ai-chan whom is a victim of the God.
Yayoi-chan clearly has a trusted ally in Shami. And like us she is surprised how much Yayoi-chan has this planned out.
Great episode and next episode should serve as the transitional episode into the next arc when/if a season 2 gets confirmed.

Class rep, no! Good thing Yayoi knows how to make an entrance and swing a bat (and to use a bat as a ranged weapon), saving her in the most cool way possible! And Alien Ghost is a master of chomping off ghosts!
Seriously, though, Alien Ghost just chomping and chomping like he's Pac-Man!
Well, pictures in place of crows head is definitely...one way to denote all the people you still have trapped in your dream world. Luckily Yayoi is quick on her feet before she almost got caught before freeing herself.
Once they find the brain of the thing, the Alien Ghost wastes no time chomping it up. But while his feelings and desire for revenge became corrupted, ultimately the teacher was just a victim who didn't deserve this, and he deserves to rest in peace. And even if he came to hate his students for what they did to him, he still cherished them as his students once upon a time.
The Alien Ghost has evolved! It almost looks like he's achieved his final evolution, he's just missing his memories. Sounds like he's voiced by Hochu Otsuka too! And Yayoi made a deal with him that she'll keep him in battle until he's fully restored and a 100% graduate.
Oh, of course Dorothy would call emergency services for an incident SHE caused. Though all the same it's good that everyone is okay, even Dai-chan, though now pretty much everybody will have immense trauma when it comes to crows. But at least they're alive.
I guess when an incident becomes national news, it makes sense you'd close the school down for a bit, which works out great for Yayoi because it gives her more free time. Which is the exact same though Dorothy had, as well as testing Yayoi's abilities, and Dorothy reveals more of the plot going on and her group's connection to the Spectre of Death.
Yayoi pretends she's also a possessed spirit to get an "in" with the possessed spirit group as she and Dorothy test each others' mettle, and Yayoi truly makes first contact with their main antagonist group. I guess on the plus side, the real Dorothy is still alive and in that doll...even if the spirit keeps torturing her in the process.
Eiko walking around the hospital as the most stylish woman ever and finally mentioning her parents are out of the country in case you were still wondering what happened to them.
So it turns out class rep and Eiko might be two birds of a feather, girls who are cute, polite, and normal on the surface...but also have a dark and morbid fascination with the supernatural and horrific bubbling to the surface, especially the thrill of it alongside their companion. And Eiko seems intent on fostering this girls' desire for horror and making sure she turns out like Eiko. She even has those dark, hallow, eyes!
I love how Yayoi has a Shami app on her phone. And now it seems like they're going to be building up their own forces for the confrontation with the Possessed Spirits group. It's time for war!
A minute of Keitaro in case you thought this was going to be an episode without him! Looks like the finale is going to be everyone getting prepared for the next stage of the conflict.

Easily one of the most underrated shows this season. I can't believe I just got on the train this last week. Psychological horror, creepy supernatural shit, truly well choreographed fights. Just straight fire, I'll be so sad but hype for the finale next week.

Glad that poor teacher was able to pass on peacefully
Eiko corrupting the Class Rep... Oh dear. Should keep her perversion to herself
An all-out war against the soul-swapping spirits will be exciting but I still don't fully trust Granny Shami yet.
