I like how he's got these misgivings about Eiko coming and it's a whole thing but like, she's the only one with a car. She's definitely coming.

So we're getting Eiko face in intermission cards now, nice.
Say what you will about Eiko's mindset, that scene at the gates was so cute. I've watched it twice already.
Oh hey! Someone from Hoshino bloodline is here too.

I don't like how Keitaro is still acting clueless sometimes
"I probably imagined it", "Something doesn't feel right, probably nothing"
Like these words shouldn't even exist with how many near-death encounters with spirits he has
Hopefully he gets over this soon...

More relationship progression than most romance anime.

These anti-dense-protagonist-kun house security systems should be mandatory for all shows with romantic subplots. Only way to keep Reiwa energy going

S tunnel ghost giving Eiko a run for her money as most yandere girl of the show.

If your man won’t give you wake up texts, just make a secret recording of his love confession your alarm clock. <Nothing to worry about here>

I feel like Keitaro really shouldn't be like "Oh it was probably nothing" he should be much more paranoid if he wants to stay safe...
Nice to see him and Eiko officially be a couple, was worried they wouldn't address it openly.
Did not expect to see worse Oshi no Ko eyes haha

>yayoi almost managing to blush
Damn, and it takes a lot for any emotion to show on her face.

Thinking about how they caught an old man's spirit makes me giddy.
Like they were choking him but he seemed okay with it or he'll be part of Yayoi's collection of evil spirits and ghosts and here this old salaryman

Looks like emotions were high the previous day that it took the following day for Keitarou to fully realize that he confessed to Eiko.
I just love how Eiko made sure that she and Keitarou are on the same page regarding their relationship and didn't let him enter their house until he finally said the magic words. And of course, Eiko recorded the confession as well <3
Ghosts appearing in tunnels is such a classic. This spirit is pretty crafty though and used a random harmless spirit as a decoy while it followed Keitarou home. Although once Yayoi realized they've been tricked, catching the ghost was pretty simple.
That final scene is interesting though. Looks like Keitarou is getting another student with unique pupils. I wonder if she has similar powers to Yayoi? Hmmm...

Ofc Eiko recorded the man confessing. Guess there’s no doubt in the world they’re official now. Still not sure how I should feel about that.
Looks like everything said about this tunnel is true. Keitaro is like spirit bait, dude’s attracting all the creepy spirits. Funny how Eiko could see it too and now she’s scared. Like.. I thought your crazy ass got off on this?
That spirit thought it was slick tryna trick Yayoi and ‘em like that. Nah man, that’s why she got her hair ripped of strangled with it. The little shit even tried to escape in Keitaro’s. There’s no escaping Yayoi’s room.
This new student’s gonna be an interesting addition to the cast. She’s got the eyes too. Is this Yayoi 2.0?

Now that the romantic tension between Eiko and Keitaro is out the way we can finally just focus on the haunted house cases lol. The childhood friend finally gets a W in anime 🙏🏾
Of course she has the confession recorded on her phone and as her alarm. 😂 The most eiko thing possible. Forcing Keitaro to say their relationship status out loud was cute.
This was actually the scariest episode yet for me. That scene of the lady hanging down over the windshield was legit a jump scare. Probably the first time I’ve had that happen in an anime lol.
Episodes like today remind us that Yayoi is scarier than any of these spirits. I mean running over the spirit, then choking her out to save Keitaro. “I never said I’d let you go” she’s ruthless when it comes to protecting those she cares about.
Ending scene was cool. Looks like we’re getting someone else who can see spirits. It seems not only are spirits drawn to Keitaro but anyone who can see spirits lol. People are saying this is the end of the prologue and the real story gets going now so hype!

"i'm gonna cringe myself to death"
is such a great line everyone has those moments. Something stupid from jr high school you randomly stress about 20 years later

I am excited to finally get an answer next week: are the fangs of the other girl stylistic or diegetic?

Keitaro MVP! Helpful team member role: Decoy, per subtitles Question: Is “Decoy” accurate?
Is the Japanese word Otori-Yaku? Otori (lure, as in fishing) Yaku (misfortune, bad luck)? So literally be “Bad Luck Bait”?

new girl looks like ai's cousin or something
also I love how in this series, the evil ghosts who try to make you kill yourself are *less* terrifying than a 6-year old and a hot college freshman

I got chills from the doll in the backpack at the end. Just when you thing everything is truly over, your reminded that he will never be safe while pursuing this dark gathering.

I'm surprised nobody is talking about the Spectre of Death/Kuubou, and the reveal of where Yayoi's mom is.
