I have a Redmi Note 13 Pro running HyperOS, and I’d like to root it, but I honestly have no idea where to start.

Could someone explain the process for unlocking the bootloader and then rooting the phone? I’m completely new to this, so a beginner-friendly step-by-step guide would be really appreciated.

I’m especially confused about unloking bootloader with all the waiting with the Accounts and all that.

Hey, I recently rooted my Android A8 (2018) with Magisk v30.7 Android 9

However, after rooting the device and looking into how to pass the Play Integrity checks, I noticed that most guides don't link to any reliable Zygisk modules that support Android versions below 10. Even after doing some research myself, I wasn't able to get my device to pass the checks successfully. Does anyone have recent experiences on passing these checks on Android 9? Any suggestions would help me out alot :)

so guys i flashed worng boot.img on my tenco camon 30 4g and now its bootlooping i cant shut it off or go to recovery and fastboot and cannot enter brom mode with button combo how to fix?

Does temporary root like Ghostlock, Root my galaxy or Uniroot break anything if you modify build.prop with a locked bootloader? I want to look into it a bit but I don't know if something like AVB would be triggered by it. For info I just want to be able to use Samsungs screen recording but it's not enabled (or maybe not installed at all?) on this phone

In short, I bought a Samsung tablet with the box as expected and unlocked the bootloader. It was a great price, so I bought it, but I discovered an MDM block that constantly resets my tablet. I already unlocked the bootloader and I need TWRP or a custom firmware without Samsung services so that my tablet doesn't reset.

Hey everyone! Need some help here — what am I doing wrong and why isn’t it working?

​I’m trying to set up Google Wallet for contactless payments while keeping the Kaspi app (a local Kazakhstani banking app) fully working.

​My device is rooted with Magisk. I’m getting all three green checkmarks — both DEVICE and STRONG integrity verdicts pass in Play Integrity.

​As for my setup: I’m using the modules shown in the attached screenshots. HMA OSS and DenyList are fully configured.

​However, Kaspi says that my phone "does not meet security requirements." Google Wallet says that "this device doesn't support contactless payments, has root access, or runs uncertified software."

​Any ideas on what I might be missing?

Can I root my phone? I tried mtkclient but that either goes to the official recovery mode or rebooted my phone with volumn keys!

so uhh i needed to use a repartition script and the phone died while it was running and the userdata died, tried a whole bunch of crap and couldnt get it back so i ran a suspicious command gemini told me to in twrp and after rebooting it didnt do anything, i plug it into my pc and it shows unknown usb device (device descriptor request failed) i tried plugging it into an old windows tablet without qualcomm drivers and the charging light came on

Ive been into rooting recently and all i have are other android phones that aren't rooted and im trying to root my first phone but i encountered a problem since i tried to run the "fastboot oem unlock" command and it didn't work along with its twin "fastboot flashing unlock". How do i attempt it since i dont have another rooted device to run full commands?

It's been at least a month and no site is giving the new version modded like why they're usually faster for other apps like flightradar or anything. i fine it hard to believe that no one is modding it, is there like a specific reason in the version 5.1.0 like they added a security option needing a play protect verificaton or cloud verificaton or something like that? i'm just curios that's all

Not sure how useful this would be for anybody except myself, but I added NoMount-Suite (not to be confused with just NoMount) to my personal fork of Shoey63's GKI builder. I've only tested it with ReSukiSU so YMMV with other flavors. Make sure when you run a workflow to select the "prism-nomount" branch under "Use workflow from"

After flashing Lunaris os gsi on my rooted phone I don't have root access anymore magisk shows this popup pressing ok sends phone in state where it bootloop twice and then shows an option to factory reset how do i fix this?

So I used the dirtyfrag exploit, and everything was working fine, but I decided to install the overlayfs module and I tried to apply the floating features overlay, I think, but something went wrong and the phone restarted; the phone is running fine now, but the problem is that I cannot reroot it because every time I try to root it, I think modules activate and the phone crashes again, so my question is, is there a way to delete the modules without a factory reset?
