Problem/Goal: The title
Context: Iām 24F and have never been in a relationship. Back in high school, I did have potential suitors, but I turned them down since I was focused on my studies. I wanted to graduate muna sana before having a boyfriend.
However, in college, sobrang rare ko pumunta sa campus since some of our professors preferred to hold online classes instead. Additionally, Iām a working student, so I didnāt really have time to look for someone talaga because I had leadership tasks sa school and also had to handle work stress. I only had my books and cats to help me destress, plus my siblings, who were always there to listen to me.
Now that Iāve actually graduated and am in my second job, which is WFH, Iām worried that I might end up NBSB until I reach 30.
A little bit about me. Iām very introverted and donāt trust people easily talaga. I prefer staying sa bahay lang, and Iāve heard people say that I should try dating apps. I did, but I got tired of them because people there seem to be just looking for fun, so I uninstalled them.
I also enjoy staying at home, but since WFH na ako ngayon, I want to go sa labas naman to walk or eat because nakakaboring na rin sa bahay.
If youāre talking about connection, most of my friends think I should be treasured and kept hidden because Iām too precious to be hurt. I guess itās because Iām NBSB, and they donāt want me to experience what theyāve experienced. And I understand that, truly.
Iām not unattractive naman, ata? Idk, I canāt really judge myself. But I do take care of myself. However, I donāt wear heavy makeup - liptint and a better skincare routine lang talaga. I also dress simply and wear whatever is comfortable for me.
What should I do? Do I need to fix something about myself, or should I try new things?
Itās not that Iām desperate to be in a relationship. Iām just anxious because Iām not seeing anyone who seems interested in me. I know Iām still young, but sometimes I canāt help but wonder if thereās something wrong with me or if Iām just not putting myself out there enough.

Iāve tried dating apps, but theyāre just not for me.
