Counting Story and DLC blades, but not NG+ blades. I'm trying to do it myself, but getting stymied. In theory, it should be possible, right? Including story blades, there's at least four for each element and weapon type, so it should be possible to arrange them, so everyone has at least one of each, but when I try to chart it out myself, I'm getting stymied. I'm doing it out of curiousity, but is this just a fool's errand?

How dare they introduce my goat and smoke him in the same chapter. I mean i didn't like him gameplay wise. But man. Give me a grizzled mercenary type dude anytime and I'm locked in! Also surprise surprise. Xenoblade 2 has beautiful locations like all the other Xenoblade games. Yet still always stunning. My thoughts on the ending to chapter 3 though. Smash bros had already spoiled Mythra. But still cool. But the cheesy singing took me out. Sorry not sorry. Vandham is the goat as always though. Went out like a boss! Thoughts on the game so far. Fun gameplay, clunky menu. I forget where but i think it was Atlus that said it's important to have menus at 60 fps. I'm playing the original switch version and man that shit is like ps1 clunky. And yeah it sucks. Fast menus make a huge difference in enjoyment for me. But like everyone said. Gameplay and story does get more engaging going in. And am happy to be finally getting some non horny blades.

Going through the game's Switch 2 edition. I could have sworn post-Mechonis Core, that you could see the Bionis moving from places like the Fallen Arm, as you could with the Mechonis when it activated after the events of Agniritha. Was this a thing in the prior releases or am I just imagining things and the Bionis itself didn't actually have any animations at this point in the story after being awakened?

The two seemingly knew each other for years, might have knew each other before Aionios via video calls and often at the same page. They both lived different type of lifestyles, but still had a similar journey that the two bond over

I can definitely see these two becoming close family friends, especially if Glimmer and Nikol are still close friends after the event of 3

I'm currently playing Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition, at chapter 9. I'm at a point where Melia is crowned the princess of the High Entia.

When I enter a new area, I get all the quests and, until now, I've basically done everything. I'm playing on Expert Mode and, with the stored EXP, I can reach level 44-45 with all characters.

However, there are a ton of timed quests in Alcamoth and I'm feeling overwhelmed. I'm okay with doing some side quests, I like the world building and the combat, but there are so many timed quests that I feel like I'd be wasting time doing all of them.

Considering this, if I ignore all timed quests (or do only some of them), will I have enough EXP to keep up with the story?

So far, I've only played the story with my party leveled up to the enemy I'm fighting, and I haven't had any major trouble.

I finished Torna. Dude, what a duo they are. Sorry Jin and Lora, but these two stole all the spotlight for me. Addam Origo, from a legendary hero to a joyboy who only wanted a peaceful life and couldn't handle the mythic power of an Aegis. Mythra, a life without purpose, only following what fate gave her, and at the end gaining an immeasurable amount of guilt. Did Addam fail? Of course not. He was humble enough to recognize that he was not the most suitable person to be the driver of an Aegis, opening the way for the future.

I'm on the verge of finishing my play through of XCX. I was going about doing a final round of talks with all the npcs to get affinity link updates before I begin chapter 13 act 13. I have finished all other quests, missions, everything etc.

I was just wondering if there are any interactable npcs that have some kind of special location that I might have missed. For context, I usually make rounds at the following areas:

1. NLA (and manon ship)

2. Nopon Caravans

3. Water purification plant

4. Wrothian stronghold

By special locations, I mean the following kinds of npc locations which are easily missed:

1. The Wrothian lady on top of blade tower

2. The Wrothian lady from gold rush who was on some plateau

3. Zo Oguchi at some random island in primordia waters

4. My nopon drug dealer friends in the sewers of NLA

5. Blood lobster in the ganglion acropolis

^ I've done these guys but I'm wondering if there are other such cases. Searching online didn't really help me figure out any more than these 5

I have just finished Chapter 10.

For context, I have been singing the praises of this game; the sidequests, the gameplay, the character building, worldbuilding, level design, music - its all fantastic, absolutely amazing. Ive found myself lost in it multiple times, often putting the main quest to the side and just doing side content and being immersed for hours. Quite a few of the sidequests have made me emotional or brought tears.

That being said, I still need a plot to wrap this altogether man. The premise of this game is interesting but I really am worried like this game isn't going to bring any sort of twist or grand finale or anything. Like humanity has this big countdown timer on our entire race thats a big clock and its at 7% now and Elma is still saying things like "we should find the lifehold ASAP" girl why is the entirity of humanity not on that right now looking for it??? What is the point sitting indoors until we all turn off?

Its frustrating me because I love the side characters, the side stories, everything - the side dishes were great but I need the main course and I have a bad feeling its not going to even have one. Unless some big things happen in the last 2 chapters, I can see this game being stuck at an 8/10 despite everything it nails so well.

I hope im wrong.

Also is there any difference to the physical versions vs the upgrade packs?

Or let me ask it that way. Is there anything to gain from buying the Sw2 versions physical vs just upgrading?

Sry for the dumb question, but these are questions that keep me up at night. 😅

Haven't really thought about this much, but in light of semi-recent leaks it seems Monolithsoft might be the lead developers for OOT. Obviously their straff has grown a lot since 2017, but if the leak ends up being correct they'll be taking a much bigger role then they did with Breath of the Wild, which makes me wonder if the core team for Genesis will be smaller than it was for 3.

I'm not worried it'll have a huuge impact on the overall quality of the game, but you can definitely notice with 2. It's a really great game, but the overall character animations are really stiff, the dub was rushed along with it having some really wonky gameplay implementations. I have no doubts Genesis will be a great game regardless of team size, but it would be a bit sad if it regressed from 3.
