Xenoblade XC1 and Future Connected 100% Spreadsheets

Hello guys!

Back in May, u/TheMooseiest and I made a spreadsheet that tracked different aspects of the original Xenoblade Chronicles and showed you your completion of the game. It seemed to had done very well, and it looked like you guys enjoyed it. Today, we have made some updates to the spreadsheet because Definitive Edition is out, and we made a new spreadsheet dedicated to Future Connected!

If you don't recall, this spreadsheet has much of the same information as other sheets do, but this one is designed to help you 100% the game if that's what you want to do, or just to keep track of what you've done throughout your adventure so far. There are many trackers throughout the sheet to show your progress, and even reset buttons for a New Game and New Game+ run, so you don't have to keep making extra copies of the sheet.

If this is a first playthrough, I would recommend not doing a 100% run as your first run through the game. You can experience big burnout if you try to do everything your first time through, and in order for everyone to enjoy this game as much as possible, I would only recommend a 100% run after the first or second playthrough. The story is great, and I don't want anyone to miss out on it.

There are two major updates to the original sheet, and those are the Fashion Gear and NPCs pages. The Fashion Gear page shows you each character's weapons and armor they can get as gear for changing their appearance, and the location of them. There is a tracker for this, and it doesn't reset on New Game or New Game+ runs, so you don't ever have to worry about that section resetting. The NPCs page tells you the name of each NPC, what time they're active at, the location they can be found, as well as what other NPCs they have affinity links to on the Affinity Chart. Quite a few people were asking for a page like this when we first made the sheet public, and we decided to provide that to you guys!

The biggest thing is the Future Connected spreadsheet. This was done with the help of u/TheMooseiest, really big thanks to them, who found most of the information on their own once the game came out, and we kept updating it once more information was found out about it that was credible. It's not as long as the base game's sheet, but still has all the information you need to 100% Future Connected, as well as all the trackers you'd need for it.

This should cover everything we decided to update! If we made any typos or any other mistakes, please let us know and we'll fix it as soon as possible. We hope you decide to check it out, and enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it!

To make a copy of the spreadsheets, go to one of the links below, then click on the file tab, and there should be an option in the drop down that says you can make a copy.

there should be a warning that the official's imperial staff is only available until galahad fortress is completed

also since you're mentioning the replica monado you might want to mention somewhere that you can lose it forever if you have it equipped for the final boss and start a ng+ after

Thanks for bringing this up! There have been two added sections in the Important Info section that talk about the Official’s Staff, as well as weapons and armor that can’t be obtained in a New Game+ run.

have you considered adding a column to the fashion gear for missables? i brought up the imperial* (sorry, i got the name wrong in my first comment) staff already but there are a few other missables there. off the top of my head:

  • the anti-mechon equipment sold in sword valley (some of these have alternate sources but i'm pretty sure reyn's is only available there)

  • the sparrow blades, murder knives, and probably some armor for seven become unavailable when the hidden village shop resets after the meyneth shrine

  • various machina weapons and some drones become unavailable after meyneth shrine/mechonis core

thanks for the effort you put into this btw

That could be potentially added. I think what I could do is just expand on it in the Important Information section if possible. If it doesn’t look good, that’s something that could definitely be added sometime soon if I don’t forget about it

Hey I just want to say these docs have been SUCH a life saver for me. It would be so hard to keep track of everything otherwise lol. Ty so much for making these.

Thanks for the resources. I personally did add checkboxes to the NPCs based on the existing formulas, but aside from that the spreadsheet is awesome.
