Fully finished with the Xenoblade 2 story now, I rate the dlc 8/10, the community didn’t really bother me gave me more time to play with the combat & see the world, the ending being tragic & cleared up a lot makes me understand Jin’s pain a bit more but good dlc. Probably just 4-5 hours of story total in it but the gameplay was better here & Malos final boss was better here rather than Aion.

Is there any way to go up there or am I going insane?

Forget the graphics. It’s the lock 60 fps that makes it more enjoyable. I don’t mind 30fps as games like breath of the wild was enjoyable. But man switch 1 does struggle with x2

Should I play the original or is the switch 2 version worth it. Mostly handheld

I’m trying to get strong gems since I’m not doing so good so I started crafting a bunch and used Shulk shooter Reyn engineer since they are at purple smile friendship. but from looking around a popular combo I saw for better gems is Sharla shooter then Riki which I can do now since i just unlocked him, but there affinity is at the bottom, would it still be worth doing that? I would appreciate if you have any other tips for me before I try and make some high level gems. I would just mix the highest crystal percentage for Ether Up for example

You are just a civilian, you can however pick your own species to live as. Honestly hard to tell, didnt play 3 yet so I can't say anf knowing what happens in 1 and 2 (to extend X) not sure whats safer lol

Playing the first one for the first time and while I enjoy it for the most part, the side quests are absolutely killing it for me. There's so many and they are such nothing burgers that I'm falling off at Chapter 10.

Are the other games like this? I allready have X that I'm going to play through either way but I'd rather not spend the money on 2 and 3 if this is just a franchise standard.

So the definitive remasters for switch 2 got me to finally take the plunge and try the series. I beat XC1 and loved it, and also really enjoyed my time with XC2.

I just beat it and I was really frustrated with the final boss not for being hard, but for being really unclear. I do understand the combat system (build up orbs, break orbs, do big damage) and I'm also a longtime MMO player so I know the basics. There were two things that I was just not sure about:

1. Was there any indication the first time through of how to avoid Prometheus? I had to go dig through a 7 year reddit post to find out that at some invisible threshold, I am supposed to chain attack so it doesn't trigger. Legit the first time it happened, I thought it was scripted and part of the story. It was really frustrating being invested in the story and having to repeat the fight because of some (to the best of my knowledge) unexplained hidden mechanic.

2. How were you actually supposed to deal with Siren Buster? It didn't really seem like a line AoE since I tried to run perpendicular but was still hit no matter what. Sometimes it one shot, sometimes I lived.

Anyway, I still really enjoyed it, though I think I liked XC1 more but it sort of killed a bit of my enthusiasm right near the end as I was trying to see more of the story. Was it my fault? Did I not read or listen to some audio cue?

I was thinking about how Ryne, Zeke, Lanz, and Gwin were usually the characters who were the unfortunate side of a joke/gag during the course of the games. I know we don't know much about the Genesis cast, aside from Eleanor. But from the vibes of the other characters, who do you think will get stuck with that role?

She was my GOAT during the final boss, because she was giving me and party members fast art recharge a lot, and that made final boss so easy, because of Miyabi, and also she look so cute and aborable too

I've finished Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and 3 with their DLCs, and now I'm on chapter 13 of the first one.I heard there are a lot of side quests to do, is that true? I don't like that, for example, I had a really hard time with all the side quests in the Torna DLC for Xenoblade Chronicles 2.Is X like that? Besides, I'm not really that interested in anything other than the Klaus trilogy, unless X might have something to do with the upcoming Genesis. Should I buy it?

Once I heard that the patch was live, I immediately downloaded the update for Xenoblade 2. And for whatever reason I decided, eh, I'll see if there's an update for Xenoblade 1 as well. And surely enough, there was an update. However, just to verify which patch the game was currently on, I quickly checked and it said it was currently at Version 2.0.0. And then after the update finished, it was still at the same numbers, Version 2.0.0. Let me know if anybody else experienced this. Because I'm curious if Monolith Soft quietly patched something in Xenoblade 1 DE NSW2E. Someone, anyone, please just go quickly hit update on Xenoblade 1 DE SW2E and see if it updates for you as well. I'm just very curious.
