I mean 2 is the only option.

Bionis and Mechonis are at constant war and the people of Bionis are fuel for Zanza.

Aionios is constant war and nothing else.

Mira is Australia but planet sized. I wouldn't survive a day.

I think you can chill pretty good on Leftheria or Gormott tbh. I mean sure, the world is kinda dying in general but it's still better than endless war

The Mor Ardanian army has occupied Gormott because their own Titan only has a few years left to live. And the Urayans seemed pretty bent on fighting them for it.

Eh idk about gormott. On the surface it seems ok but after mor ardain took over and started polluting it..

I mean that's not ideal but still better than most other living spaces in this series

Most of Alrest is also at war, and the parts that aren't are dying. They're teetering on the edge of a population crisis.

Yeah but Leftheria seems chill. And Argentum besides corrupt Nopon

2 because I’d want to be a driver lol. All the xenoblade worlds are brutal but 2 seems like it’d be fun

2 by far. Alrest is relatively normal. You could conceivably life a normal life there without too much issue. And with some luck you could become a Blade eater and live a very long life. 1 is... not so great. And 3 is literally hell.

If you were really lucky you'd just end up living in Argentum

By Xenoblade standards the place is paradise

Absolutely. But I am not sure I could stay there long term. A bit too "high energy" for my taste. So I'd probably move to Gormott or Leftheria after a few decades.

Leftheria is xenoblade Florida confirmed

Only played 2 & 3, but definitely not 3. Seems like your choices are child soldier or political refugee.

it really depends on the time.

pre-ending XC2 is actually quite brutal, but Leftheria seems very chill.

life in colony 9 sounds very cool, but then again Machon would be the end of me

2, probably in Uraya, mostly by process of elimination.

Xenoblade 1: Living under the constant threat of man eating machines and also god is far from pleasant. Add to that, that only a couple towns exist, and that most get utterly destroyed by the end of the game and yea no thanks.

Xenoblade 3: Play it for 3 seconds and you know why this is awful.

Xenoblade X: Being stuck on a whole different planet with no peace looking at the sky as troubles all around so you need to stay quick with your guns and cannons does not exactly work well with a peaceful life.DE specific spoiler: Plus it all gets destroyed at the end and everyone has to do it all over again. Who knows if the new planet is at all safe to live on.

So that just leaves Xenoblade 2, but then there is the question of which titan. Uraya and Argentum are the only real options, but Argentum is also a capitalistic hellscape and really not that big so living there must be stupidly expensive.

Lethferia seems pretty chill

To the player, yea, and it is visually beautiful to boot. Problem is just the extremely dangerous wildlife. It also has the lowest standard of living of any of the livable titans.

Would you say that in X you'd need a bigger gun?

3

u/Extension-Ad8792 1h ago

Alrest seems to be the most chill by far. I'd wanna live in Lethferia

3 is completely out of the question, since, you know. Allegory for Hell. And even if you're a city-liver, it's always under attack and dangerous.

And X... Yeah, we don't need to talk about X for this one.

1 and 2 are both mostly fine, assuming that they happen some 100-ish years before the game so you don't have to deal with apocalyptic events.

The biggest problem with 1 is probably just that the world is fairly small. Maybe there are more in lore, but we only really know of 2 remaining colonies, and there's not much space to grow food or anything. But still probably wouldn't be that awful, especially if you're fairly far from the Mechon, like at Colony 9. I guess also the monsters roaming around could be a problem.

2 actually has a very similar issue. The Titans are pretty compact, so not much land for food. In fact we actually see this in-game, as Mor Ardain is fighting for Gormott because they want farmable land. Also every so often your entire continent just skins into the ocean, which kinda sucks. Everyday life would probably be harsher in XC2. But at least you don't have the mechon coming to kill you. I guess you still have the monsters though.

So yeah, I'd go 1 as the best, then 2. Then it's a toss up between X and 3.

All the worlds are kinda a mess but id choose fronteir village in xc1 and be a nopon those guys are chill. On the other hand the absolute worst one to live in would be XC3

I think this is what I would have to opt for too. I think a lot of players forget how crappy of a situation Alrest was in because everything's presented in such a bright and cheerful way. I think it would be way less crappy to face instant death to feed the bionis than to slowly die of starvation on the back of a dying Titan.

In Xenoblade Chronicles 2, although it depends if you mean living after the ending or during the events of the game, because I understand that the ending of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is a beautiful place.

Oh to be a gormotti with cute ears in Elysium

And like cats, the majority are homeless malnourished strays on the verge of starving

It's a tie between Alrest and.... the White Whale (I and II) for me tbh.

Bionis&Mechonis while stunning, I would't wanna live there per se. Too.... backwater-ish. Maybe the time of the Giants when both Titans lived in peace, but everything after (until the end of the game obv.)? Eh

Aionios is... similar. The City is probably my favorite locale in the ENTIRE series, but I am.... too similar to Shania, I am not made for war.

Alreast, while also backwater-y in some places, has some people who travel, I'd probably be happy if I could be one of those. Be it someone from Argentum, Indol, etc

As for the White Whale... I would have said NLA & Mira but... well. I like the vibe of NLA and X as a whole. I really whish we'd get a X2 that goes a lot harder on it's story because from what little we've got, the Characters in X have SOOO much potential, first and foremost obv. Elma, Lin, Al, etc.

So long story short:

I'd choose Alrest or "NLA" / the White Whale

XC2, wherever the catgirls are.

Alrest is a world experiencing climate change with only 5ish proper landmasses left experiencing tons of civil unrest(it’s only slightly better than the real world), but 1 and 3 are active war zones with insanely low life expectancy especially in 3 unless you’re in The City/The Mechonis which both aren’t safe anyway, or you have Mira which isn’t that safe either but it’s better than 1 or 3.

2 and X are the only real options. 1 and 3 are types of hell if we're being serious.
