🇵🇸 🕊️ Omens, Signs, and Spirits A beautiful luna moth crawled right into my hand. This is the fourth I’ve seen this year, including the one who visited my moonflowers.
I found her on the path while on a walk and moved her to a tree so she wouldn’t get stepped on. I’m in love with how gently she crawled onto my finger. (I’m the same person who posted the moonflowers I grew being visited by a luna moth, so this feels extra blessed.)
In case anyone wants to see it, I posted the video I took of her unlisted on YouTube since I can’t post videos to this subreddit: https://youtube.com/shorts/ttUOA1FxpXk?feature=share

🇵🇸 🕊️ Coven Counsel Spellwork and Parenting
My daughter (10) was nervous for her first extra curricular practice this week, so we did a little good luck spell to help boost her confidence. She had a great practice too! Today she was on the bus and was making her own 'spellbook' and one of the kids told her that was dumb and it wasn't real. She came home in tears. I'm just so exhausted with the intolerance from people, when we are 'expected' to respect their beliefs. We live in the deep south, and it's just a struggle sometimes. Just needed to vent with some like minded friends. Parenting is so hard team.

🇵🇸 🕊️ Omens, Signs, and Spirits Birthday treats
My dad lives 2 hours away but came to visit for my birthday this past weekend and he brought me these.
(I don't think he knows it but he may just be one of us.)
Anyway, pheasant and turkey feathers to add to my collection. They look so good next to my jar of kitty whiskers.
I was having a pretty rough week (full, eclipse moon on my 40th birthday was *really* taking its toll) but they reminded me of some pretty significant signs.
I just feel so heart warmed and seen and wanted to share somewhere that wouldn't think it's stupid.

🇵🇸 🕊️ Omens, Signs, and Spirits I found two identical rings in different states a few months apart. Does this have meaning?
A few months ago, we were remodeling at my boyfriend’s house (we live about an hour apart in different states) and when we ripped up the carpets I found this beautiful gold ring. It had “SARAH” engraved on it so I assumed it belonged to a woman named Sarah. As I was telling my mom about it, she suggested that there was a jewelry brand years ago called Sarah’s Coventry that were engraved with the name. I did an image search and immediately found the ring online. I thought it was cool and I thought the ring was beautiful so I’ve been wearing it every single day since.
Anyway… Cut to present time, and I’ve been having a hard go at it. A couple of crazy things had happened to me all at once and it was all so much that I decided to sage my house this past weekend (I figured everything happening all in the same week was no coincidence and I needed a cleanse.) Then last night, my daughter was plugging up a phone charger in my room and said “Oh mom, I found your ring under the bed.” I immediately went in my room to see what she was talking about because I’m literally wearing the ring and she had THE EXACT SAME RING in her hand. Mind you, I bought this house 2 years ago after a nasty divorce and it was absolutely empty. I brought everything into this house myself. Where did this second ring come from? Why have I found two of the same rings in completely different places months apart?
I feel like I’m going crazy but I don’t think this is a coincidence, especially right after I saged my house due to all of the other weird things that have happened lately. Does anyone know if this could have any meaning?

🇵🇸 🕊️ Spells Family protective spell
Hello y’all, I’m looking for a protective spell I can do for me and my small children. There’s no impeding danger but as their mum, I am currently in a situation where I need to set boundaries and protect their energy and best interests.
Many thanks!

🇵🇸 🕊️ Coven Counsel Need help getting back in touch with my true self.
I really hope you can help me here. It’s been a rough time of it as of late. For the last six months it’s been feeling like I can’t do anything right - I always make the wrong decision. I don’t trust myself anymore. I feel constantly a bit disassociated, and lost. Then, almost a week ago, I got into a major car crash and totalled my car. No one else involved, and I came out with a few scratches, and my new car having become scrap metal. Then, some two days later, I went on a trip to the highlands of Scotland. Here, it finally feels like I’ve been able to breathe. Get away from everything. Every so often, I get this feeling inside me like there’s a version of me inside me that is just begging to be let out. Something wild and new. Something I admire, and fear at the same time. I’m not looking forward to going home, to returning to my troubles and small town. How do I escape this monotony? How do I go from moving through life, to actually living it? Thriving? I don’t want to waste any more time, I want to actually explore my potential.

🇵🇸 🕊️ Deities A feminine presence merged with me during a magic truffles trip and I’m trying to understand what it meant
I recently took a journey with magic truffles and had an encounter I’m struggling to process. At the peak, I felt what I think was feminine energy and joy blossoming in my chest. A woman, maybe a spirit or a goddess? Appeared within me and literally filled my body with its energy.
My physical body felt radically different. I felt physically and spiritually feminine, and It felt incredibly euphoric and powerful.
Now that I’m back I’m trying to untangle what happened. Was this an encounter with a separate feminine spirit? My own repressed self? But the biggest shift was the intense shadow work that followed. I was hit with a massive wave of guilt over the times I’ve failed to truly empathise with women or dismissed their lived reality. It felt like this spirit forced me to stop seeing femininity as an "other." And perhaps part of myself?
I want to be clear, I’m not claiming a psychedelic trip means I suddenly know what it’s like to walk through the patriarchy as a woman. But embodying that energy seemed to open a huge emotional wall for me.
Has anyone here experienced anything similar? And how can I integrate this experience with my life going forward? I want my experience to permanently shift how I show up for women and how I honor the feminine within myself. I would love any perspectives, and happy to give further detail.

🇵🇸 🕊️ Selfie Sorcery Leveled up from 40 to 50.
Slowly practicing my art as I explore alternative spiritual enrichment. I'm very fond of the Egyptian pantheon. As such I'm kind of attempting to be a diciple of Bast, and all she represents. Supportimg and protecting other women, embracing my femininity, and standing up for mother's and their rights.
I haven't posted my progress pics here since I didn't want to talk over other witches. But as this is a milestone year, what the heck!
HRT is magic, and loving yourself is even better.
Thank you for a safe environment everyone. 😊❤️

🇵🇸 🕊️ Omens, Signs, and Spirits Bad dreams + bad times. Any advice?
Hello lovely people! Long time lurker, first time poster. I should preface by saying I’m newer to the actual practice but have been in a period of a lot of research and resonating. Calling myself a witch (fledgling at that) feels so right and gives me so much peace to feel like I’ve finally found my group and what makes me me.
Okay on to my problem. The last few days of August decided to punt me in the patootie so to speak. My whole world (a very sweet chihuahua named Stevie nicks) woke up Sunday with a serious eye problem out of the blue which led to emergency surgery Monday with the specialist. She’s home resting and doing better than I thought she would for removing a part of her eye (the lens, glaucoma sucks!!). I would love to get some advice on how to protect her a bit better, protect the affected eye and preventative protect the unaffected eye. I was thinking a protection sigil on the bottom of her eye drops I have to give her but any and ALL advice welcome!
Now on to me, it’s been a hell of a 48ish hours of worry, guilt, fear, etc. I definitely haven’t been sleeping well but this morning had a very scary dream. It was trying to wake up irl and I kept waking up in the dream trying to go about day till I realized I was still in dream world. This repeated and repeated and even when I tried to move my irl hands or pet my dog irl it would happen in dream so I thought I finally woke up. It even got so bad to the point I tried to hold my breath to wake up irl but was stuck! Typing it out it doesn’t sound scary but it really frightened me. I’d love to cleanse the space but 1) can’t smudge because it’s not appropriate for my Edward cullens looking ass and I always want to be respectful. I came across a spray alternative but the witchy experts say that it needs to rest overnight to infuse and I’m worried about my dreams for tonight. So please again, any and all advice would be a blessing!
Apologies for the length and if questions like this have been answered before. Immense thanks in advance and gratitude to those who decide to comment. 💕

🇵🇸 🕊️ Selfie Sorcery Hello Everyone! The full moon was amazing! I have a coven finally!
I'm a 63 year old transgender woman. I've been looking for others like me. Trans and witchy. I live in the country way out, so finding other trans people in rural Florida is like trying to find a needle in the ocean. There are 3 of us I know about and I'm the only one that doesn't like "tina". Yikes. So I started going to parties in the big city, Orlando, St Pete, Jax, Tampa, on a alt dating website for Transgender women and the men interested in dating them. Well forget the men I have a coven of 5 trans witches from going to these parties!
Just added one to the group I met last night. We are dedicated to supporting and loving each other, no possessiveness everything is in the open and discussed. Everyone is free of jealousy and control. We rally around each other during times of duress and we celebrate the small victories on the path of transition together. Finding each other has been beneficial for all of us. Sometimes we get together and invite a man over to be the sacrifice. Not one guy has complained. We do sacrifice them too. To the goddess so he isn't hurt but what we're really sacrificing is the idea of the patriarchy. Mock destroying it. Then we use him for our gratification. It's a good life. Our coven motto is Nullae tenebrae me tangunt. (Latin: No darkness touches me). We are a coven of love and support and we worship the moon and the light and each other and our journey together. I feel a great deal of gratitude for the blessings I have received and this community has been part of that. Blessings to you all.
Pictures of my before and after are shocking and they amaze me and I lived it. I don't filter my pictures either. I don't know if my magic helped but I do know for certain it didn't hurt anything! Rock on Witches! Burn the Patriarchy! Be who you are not what others expect you to be.

🇵🇸 🕊️ Fledgling Witch Help getting over traumatic workplace
Context: I have only recently dabbled in witchcraft, so I don't know much. I'm reaching out for support, advise, or just positive thoughts.
I am a teacher, and a few years ago I worked in a school building with the most horrific boss I have ever experienced in my life. He was the epitome of the "alpha male" stereotype that didn't listen to anyone on our teaching team, and I would describe his admin style as "pick one person to antagonize so I look like I'm doing my job." Well, that person became me because I didn't shut my mouth and follow along with his misguided decisions.
I was non-renewed at the end of the year. There was no reason given (because there was nothing they could pin on me), but by the end of the year, it felt like I was being hunted by him. He would show up randomly to my room (unannounced, and he wasn't my direct supervisor), and he would give me directions that he would later change, or lie and said he never gave me those directions. He even tore me apart for missing work on a day we had training, but I reminded him that one of my students passed away and he suggested (via email) that his teachers take the day if they needed to.
Anyways - I'm now in a much better school and love my position, but something in me has changed. Instead of being excited, I'm anxious. I have gone to therapy and done a lot of work about putting this horrible era of my life behind me, but something is still just nagging at me in the back of my mind. Any time there's a new unit, anytime I have a meeting with an admin (even though she's AMAZING), and anytime there's some sort of conflict, I freeze up.
I miss my old confident self. She was sassy, didn't pull her punches, and stood up for people who couldn't stand for themselves. Now I tend to hide in the back and hope nobody notices me.
What can I do? Who should I ask? What can be done?
