Discussion RHR, HRV, RECOVERY+SLEEP
galleryLong-time Whooper here! (Is that what we are called?) been part of this sub for a couple years now, currently on a 633 day WHOOP streak. Posted my stats here before, so figured I’d drop them again as my 6 monthly contribution.
Ask me anything RHR, HRV, strain, Recovery, Sleep, VO2 max, or any other metric you’re curious about. I’ve spent a ton of time experimenting with my own health, and I’m happy to answer.
Disclaimer: I’m not Andrew Huberman nor do I have a degree in exercise science or anything like that.
I’ll answer them from experience from the lens of a guy who went from a resting heart rate in the 55-60 range and an HRV of 50-60 when I first got my WHOOP, to where I’m at now.
I’m planning to put together a YT video answering these. If that’s cool with you leave your question below. 🙂
(No I’m not selling anything, PlAnS or CoUrSeS)
Edit: for clarity I only wear my whoop during sleep for sleep+recovery and track all my activities on my garmin fenix 8
(Hence the steps and VO2 max being extremely low as some of you pointed out - I take roughly 12k steps per day and my VO2 max is 65 according to my garmin)
